12-30 - 2 Corinthians 7 11-16

πŸ—️’s to riddles, N.T. in a yr study, verses paraphrased Logic [ ] references { } thots

☀️ 11 - For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, with concern and longing. What zeal, what vindication! For in every point you’ve proved yourselves innocent in the matter! 12 So although I wrote to you, it was not for the sake of the one who did the wrong. Nor for the sake of the one who suffered the wrong. But in order that your genuineness might shine through and take precedence in the sight of God. 13 Therefore we’re comforted.

     And besides our own comfort, we rejoiced still more to see the joy of Titus. And how his spirit was refreshed by you. 14 And so whatever boasts I made to him about you, I was not disappointed. But just as everything we said to you was true, so also our boasting before Titus has proved true. 15 And his affection for you is even greater now, as he remembers your faithfulness to the way, and how you received him with respect and affection. 16 I rejoice, because I have complete confidence in you! {In your spiritual safety and your genuineness to, and preservation of “the way”.}

12-29 - 2 Corinthians 7 1-10

πŸ—️’s to riddles, N.T. in a yr study, verses paraphrased Logic [ ] references { } thots

☀️ 1 - Since we have these - promises - beloved, let us rid ourselves from every pollution of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the reverence of God.

     2 And make room for us in your hearts. We’ve wronged no one, we’ve corrupted no one, we’ve not taken advantage of any one. 3 I (Paul) don’t say this to judge you! For as I said before, you’re in our hearts. Whether we die together, or live together!

     4 I’m acting with great boldness toward you because I have great pride in you. I’m filled with comfort! In all our troubles, I’m overflowing with joy!

     5 Even when we came into Macedonia, we had no rest, we were troubled at every turn. There was fighting without. And fear within. 6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus! 7 And not only by his coming but by your good words of comfort to us with which you sent him back with. He told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal. So I rejoiced even more. 8 Because even if I made you grieve with my letter, I don’t regret it.

     Though I did regret it! For I knew the letter would grieve you. But only for a while! 9 As it is, I rejoice! Not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved to repentance [metanoia - to change ones mind, to turn, repent]. For it was a godly grief, so you lost nothing from it, but gained. 10 For godly grief makes us come to our senses, which gains for us life, safety, wholeness, without regret. Whereas worldly grief [lupΓ© - sorrow, grief, pain, distress] produces loss of life. {Stress, etc, equals less life? Now, and shorter duration of life? Sweeping issues under the carpet isn’t the best remedy? Burying them in the psyche.. Whereas Father and Son’s love graphically displayed as a high priced ransom, Christ Crucified, is strong enough to appease every psyche. Rich man, poor man parable, and the Rev.22 - outside of the vision - narrative, portray (surely?) initial, inner conditions of some during GWT Judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’.. The inner, outside of the light darkness and gnashing of teeth.. which - Jn.12:32 - will progress to the weeping.. beating self up with many stripes.. Think cruel and heartless despots, large and small.. ultimately the gut wrenching remorse.. in God’s radiant and blazing Light, not soon put aside and fully forgotten. Imperfect being not only entropy, but a true abyss of potential.. Pre-flood was hands off.. First proof.. Seditious angels first, as accelerant.. And this one and done, the onLy crucible - imperfection. The dis-ease as part of the cure? Unavoidable unless creation’s to be a mere Ant Farm?}

         Paul’s Letter To Titus

1 - Remind them (believers of Crete) to be subject to rulers and authorities, tobe ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. {Still pertains. Even online, lol.} 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures {and untruths} passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and the loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because we were righteous, but according to his own mercy, and, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 which he pours out upon us abundantly, through Jesus our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace, we might become heirs - according to the hope [elpis - trust, expectation] - of (inhering) enduring life.

          Paul’s Letter To Titus

9 - Bondservants (paying of a debt/agreement/bond by working, today employees) should work well and be respectful, not argumentative or resentful. 10 Not pilfering, but showing all good faith in everything, so they may adorn the news of God our Savior.

     11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly longings, to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness {and entropy! imperfection/entropy (death)} and to purify to himself a people for his own who are zealous [zΓ©lΓ³tΓ©s - zealot(!) enthusiastic, fervent in support] for good [kalos - good, beautiful, noble, excellent, honorable] works [ergon]. 15 Declare these things Titus. Urge, encourage and convince with all authority. Let no one disregard you! {Because he was young?}

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 25:24-33

24 -  “But he who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter any seed” (another facet of the human condition to overcome) 25 “so I was afraid” (I’m really quite convinced what’s needed, NEEDS to be appeased, isn’t God. Though we think it is. It’s our own psyche. The guilty conscience ..somehow tied into cause and effect.. God made a cause and effect universe and reality.. Calls it his wrath.. He’s not only Love, and Life/Perfection, but he is 100% unfettered Genius. This is the reality I want in my psyche. ..Rev.7:9,4?) ..”So I went and hid your talent and buried it in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master/mister/boss answered him, ‘You wicked and lazy worker! You knew I reap where I haven’t sown” (you’re supposed to be doing the work dude) “and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers! And then at my coming I should have received what was my own with more besides. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has, more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what they have will be lost. 30 And cast the unprofitable [achreios - from alpha as a neg. prefix and chreios - useful, without use, (greek word #888.. can’t help but think of the eighth day!)] worker into the outer darkness [skotos - darkness, either physical or moral]. [In that place - there is no “in that place” in the original verse as written.] There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.’ (In life as we presently know it [crucible] and, or as initial conditions during the GWT judgment ‘day’.) 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. (“All the world’s a stage”..? Shakespeare) 32 Before him will be gathered all nations, and he will separate one from another as a shepherd separates his sheep from his goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.”

9 - Workers/bondservants using a form of borrowing and paying back by work, are to be respectful in every way, well-pleasing and useful, not argumentative, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.

11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all,12 training us to renounce ungodliness and selfish worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 while waiting for the blessed hope [elpis - expectation] the appearing of the glory of our great God, our Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness, and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for every good work. 15 Declare these things, Titus, speak and encourage with all authority.
