Mankind will replace God and The Gods with government. Don't you think? The mistake we'll make is the giving over of too much power. It'll be the gods all over again (when this happens) but this time they'll have arms and legs, the resources and computers.
The big beast of Rev. 13 is indeed a world empire, an imperial government, which the world in general either adores or fears (and remains silent), for who can fight against it? For John's first readers, this would have been the Roman empire (and its emperors). For later readers, it was later world empires, up to the present day, with the American empire.
ReplyDeleteThe main mistake in Revelation is not that men have given government too much power, but that many members of the churches have joined the world in adoring and fearing that power.

ReplyDelete..that same imperial government, "the kings"/politicians are in bed with the global (7continent seducing and enchanting) $ity babble0n & 0n, who has a 'golden' cup of side effects, whose 'name' harlot, is the greek word "pornos".
(Meaning, Capitalism went pornos and for this reason) the kings/socialism will finally devour and raze her (Rev 17:15-18) whose forehead/psyche is every untruth, which is responsible for all blood shed upon earth - "mystery babble".
