10-01 - Gal 1 6-12 Luke 18 9-17

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 1:6-12

6 - I (Paul) am very surprised that you are so quickly deserting the LORD who has called you into the grace of Christ. And you’re turning to a different gospel! 7 Not that there is one, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the gospel/good news of Christ!

     8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel - different - to the one we preached to you, that one will be accursed. {Cause and effect? Nicknamed God’s wrath?}

     9 As we’ve said before, so now I say again! If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different and contrary to the one you received {different than the original, genuine, saving from entropy/death and its cause, message of God} they are accursed. {Under a negative effect.}

     10 Am I looking for the approval {or gospel} of man? Or do I look for the approval of God?

     Am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man/the world, I would not be a servant of Christ!

    11 For I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not a human gospel. 12 For I didn’t receive it from any person, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus, the Christ and Messiah. [Acts 9:3-6, Gal.1:15-2:10]

            πŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 18:9-17

9 - Jesus told a parable to some who trusted in their own self worth, and righteousness, while they treated others with contempt.

     10 He said, “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. (Disliked because they collected taxes for Rome while they were under Roman occupation.) 11 The Pharisee, being aloof, and by himself, prayed ‘God, I thank you that I’m not like others. Who are extortioners, unjust, and adulterers. Or even like this tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week and I give tithes of all that I own and all I receive.’

     13 But the tax collector was standing far off, and he wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven! But beat his breast, saying, ‘God be merciful to me! A sinner!’

     14 I tell you, this one went down to his house justified. But not the other, for everyone who thinks of their self as exalted {better than} will be humbled. And the one who humbles their self will be exalted.”

      15 Many people were bringing their young children to him that he might bless them. And when the disciples saw it, they scolded them. 16 But Jesus called out, “Let the children come to me! Don’t stop them. For to such belongs the kingdom of God!

     17 Truly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive the kingdom of God like a little child, is not able to enter in.”
