10-07 - Gal 3 1-7 Luke 19 41-48

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year, Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 3:1-7

1 - Oh foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you!? [Baskainรณ - to slander, hence by extension, to fascinate, bewitch, and overpower, from baskanos - to cast an evil spell, wishing injury upon someone, to bewitch. In classical Greek, Aristotle used baskaรญnล for "bewitching through the use of an evil power." That is, putting someone under a spell so they no longer could think (act) according to reason ..is also associated with envy ..slander.] {Advertizing, kind of low key bedazzling? Propaganda, from low key to..? A seeking to bedazzle?}

     You once understood! Everyone knows Jesus Christ was crucified. 2 Let me ask you this! Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law?

     Or was it by hearing, with faith? By hearing, and believing what you heard. 3 And now are you so foolish?! Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by your own human effort? {Pride?} 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain? If indeed it was in vain? 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, do so by works of the law? Or by hearing with faith? 6 Faith, like Abraham, who “believed God - and it was counted to him as righteousness”. {THiS is THE agreement God has with us, the “Abrahamic Covenant”. James 2:23 - “The Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness.' And he was called the friend of God.”}

     7 We must understand this, those who believe and stay in the faith, are the sons and daughters of Abraham.

     {Because “the seed” (implanted) is Jesus. Gal.3:16 - “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It doesn’t say - to seeds - meaning many, but to one, and that one is Christ” (who will “draw all” Jn.12:32). He is the onLy straight out from God one. Father and Son are so close (one) that both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity. The scripture refers to both the Father and the Son as being the alpha to omega.}

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 19:41-48

41 - As Jesus drew near and saw the city (Jerusalem) he wept over it, 42 and he said “If only you, even you, had known on this day! The things that make for peace! But now, they’re hidden from your eyes.

     43 The days will come, when enemies will set up a barricade around you, surrounding you, and hemming you in on every side. 44 And you’ll be torn down, level to the ground. You and your children within you. And in you {Jerusalem of the time, the city, not just the temple} not one stone in you, will be left oNe upon another” {here is the “70 weeks gap” -> Dn.12:11(12), with 1Cor.3:16, surely?} “because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.” {Prophecy is fulfilled usually(?) in at least two scopes? So 70 CE was the prophecy fulfilled as ‘smaller’ scope.. and will be fulfilled full scope at the culmination (end/greek word “tel” root of telescope, but means “end-aim” at the end-aim) of history. Fiery judgments/consequences/results, are earthly.}

     45 And he went into the temple and began to drive out those who were selling. 46 And he said, “It’s written! ‘My house is a house of prayer!’ But you’ve made it a den of thieves!” {The Earth too, free enterprise highjacked and is now a $ity which rode the beasts (of prophecy) to all seven hills/continents, but they turn on ‘her’ and will consume/deplete and destroy her, even with fire, Rev.17:12,16.}

     47 He taught daily in the temple, and (the leaders/authorities) chief priests, scribes and principal men of the people, were seeking to destroy him, 48 but they couldn’t find how to do it, for the people were seeking him out and listening to him every day.

Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32.

“The lion will eat straw.. and the

bear will graze with the cow” Isaiah 11:7.

10-06 - Gal 2 11-21 Mark 11 1-10

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 2:11-21 ⭐️

(Case in point.) 11 - When brother Peter came to Antioch, I (Paul) had to challenge him! 12 For before certain men came from James (and Jerusalem) he was eating with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back, separating himself. He did this because he feared what the circumcision party might think. {The “circumcision party” was Hebrew believers. They were brought up with the society preservative laws and were strictly separated from “the nations” to birth “the savior of the world”.}

     13 And then the rest of the Hebrews (slang Jews) acted hypocritically along with him! Even Barnabas was led astray! {We are sheep at heart.}

     14 But when I saw how their conduct wasn’t in step with the Truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile - and not like a Jew - how can you expect the Gentile believers to live like Jews?” {Mixing “law with grace” as “another gospel”/message of God. On either side of the “narrow way” is two huge, bog filled ditches, the two L’s - Legalism and License. Both are deadly to successful Christ-ianity, both individual and collective.}

     15 For we ourselves are Jews by birth and we’re not lawless. 16 Yet we know - that a person is not JUSTIFIED by following the law {because being imperfect/entropic we cannot do it perfectly, but God iS Life aNd iS Perfect, 1Jn.5:20, Mt.5:48} - for justification/declared innocent and righteous - is through faith in Jesus Christ.

     And we Hebrews, also, have believed in Christ, as the means to be justified. [Dikaioรณ - quote from biblehub’s app - “from dikฤ“ - right, approved, especially in a legal, authoritative and judicial sense; to show what is right, i.e. conformed to a proper standard, upright; the believer is made righteous/justified (G1344 /dikaiรณล) by the Lord, cleared of all charges.. Moreover, they are justified (1344 /dikaiรณล - made right, righteous) by God's grace each time they receive (obey) faith (4102 /pรญstis), i.e. "God's inwrought persuasion" cf. the -oล ending which conveys "to bring to/out”] — {aha! It’s not only “all charges dropped” but right-ness is brought in and out of the (yielded) believer. Genuine Faith will bear Fruit. But all of it - is by faith - The “new and living way”. …Isaiah 45:23 - “I have sworn ..to me every tongue shall swear allegiance.” God is life, love, joy, all well being, 100% Good and 100% unencumbered Genius. So why this contrast? Because an ant farm is no paradise?}

     Because by works of the law, no one is justified! {Imperfect cannot make itself perfect/enduring.. ๐Ÿ—️But God can, and will. Has to.  evause imperfection/entropy is a slow gehenna that “does noT quit”.}

     17 But! If, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be practicing sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin?? Certainly not! 18 For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a deliberate offender. {Loving death?} 19 For through the law, I died to the law - so that - I might live to God. 20 What I mean of course, is I, the old me, has been crucified with Christ! And it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God. Who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not cancel out and frustrate the grace of God! For if righteousness {life} is earned {and not a gift and endowment} then Christ died in vain!

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. MARK 11:1-10

1 - Now when they drew near to Jerusalem, to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples 2 saying to them, “Go into the nearby village, and as you enter it you’ll see a colt tied, which no one has sat upon. Untie it and bring it to me. 3 If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing that?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it and will send it back.’”

     4 So they went to town and found a colt tied at a door in the street, and untied it. 5 And some standing there said, “What are you doing?” 6 So they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go with the colt.

     7 And they brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on it, and he rode it. 8 And many spread their cloaks and palm branches from the fields onto the road. 9 And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! 10 Blessed is *the coming kingdom* of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”

10-05 - Gal 2 6-10 Luke 19 29-40

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 2:6-10

6 - Yet, as for those held in high esteem [the apostles (witnesses) in Jerusalem] - however held, makes no difference, for God shows no favoritism - there was nothing they needed to add to my message.

     7 On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel TO the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel TO the circumcised [same gospel] 8 - for he who worked through Peter for his apostleship to the circumcised, worked also through me, for my apostleship to the Gentiles (“the nations”).

     9 And when James, Peter and John, who are esteemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and I. And agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised. (To the Hebrews/Jews/Israel). 10 Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I too am always eager to do.

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 19:29-40

29 - As Jesus was drawing near to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, he was at the grove called Mount of Olives, which is across the (Kidron) valley from Jerusalem.

     He sent two of the disciples 30 to go into the nearby village, and told them, “When you enter the town you’ll find a colt tied, which no one has ridden. Untie it and bring it to me. 31 And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying the colt?’ tell them, ‘The Lord has need of it.’”

     32 So the two went and found it just as he had said. 33 And as they were untying the colt, its owners said, “Why are you untying the colt?”

     34 They said, “The Lord has need of it.” 35 And they brought the colt to Jesus, throwing their cloaks on it. And Jesus rode it across the valley.

     36 As he rode along, the people spread their cloaks on the road ahead of him. 37 And as they drew near to Jerusalem, the people accompanying him, a multitude, began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen. 38 And they cried out, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in heaven (Rev.12:7-8) and glory in the highest!”

     39 But some Pharisees nearby, and in the crowd, said, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” 40 But Jesus said to him, “I tell you, if they were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

10-04 - Gal 2 1-5 Luke 19 11-28

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 2:1-5

1 - Then after fourteen years I (Paul) went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along. 2 I went up according to a revelation, and told them the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, but in private to the apostles {witnesses} lest somehow I might be running or had run in vain. [Gal.3:24 - “The law is our schoolmaster to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.”] {And by law no one is innocent. Only by faith, trusting.}

     3 But even Titus, who was with me, wasn’t compelled to be circumcised, though he was a Greek [thus never circumcised according to the law of Moses]. 4 For false brothers had secretly come in to spy out the freedom we have in Christ Jesus, so they might bring us into captivity - 5 but we didn’t yield nor submit to them, not for a moment! So the truth of the gospel [“the new and living way” Heb.10:20] might continue with you.

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 19:11-28

11 - As he was nearing Jerusalem, and while the crowd of people were listening, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because they thought the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.

     12 He told them “A nobleman went to a far country to receive for himself a kingdom. And then to return.

     13 Calling ten of his servants, he gave them each ten talents/coins, and said, ‘Use this in business until I return.’

     14 Meanwhile some of his future citizens hated him and sent a delegation saying, ‘We don’t want You to rule over us!’

     15 Now when he returned, having received the kingdom, he sent for those he had given the coins to, that he might know what profit they had gained with them, while he was away.

     16 The first came, saying, ‘Lord, your coin has made ten coins more.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you’ve been faithful in a little, you shall have reign [exousia - delegated empowerment operating in a designated jurisdiction] {serving called reigning?} over ten cities.’ {Logically, during the Lord’s long second advent}.

     18 And then the second worker came, saying, ‘Lord, your coin has made five coins.’ 19 And he said, ‘You will be over five cities.’

     20 Then another came, saying, ‘Lord, here is the talent you gave me. I kept it laid away in a cloth, 21 for I was afraid of you, because you are a harsh man. You take up what you didn’t place, and reap what you didn’t sow.’

     22 And the businessman said to him, ‘I judge you by your own words! You bothersome [ponรฉros - toilsome, bad] worker! You knew I’m a harsh {harsh reality, school of hard knocks} man, taking up what I didn’t lay down and reaping what I didn’t sow! 23 Why then didn’t you put the talent to usury (use your talent) and at my coming, I would collect it with interest?’ 24 And he said to those who were nearby, ‘Take the talent from him, and give it to the one who has ten.’

     25 And they said, ‘But lord! He has ten already!’

     26 ‘I tell you, everyone who has, more will be given. {More spirit/life, more wisdom, love, talents, etc}. But from the one who hasn’t, even what they think they have will be taken away.

     27 But as for these enemies of mine, who say they don’t want me to reign over them, bring them here before me and slay them.’” {“THiS is the “beama/SEAT of judgment”/fiery judgment/cause and effect/culmination of history, and this contrast of imperfection/entropy. ALL fiery judgment(s) are earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire, are at huge, fiery events.

     Daniel 7:9 - “And the ancient of days took his SEAT” ..“All of life is a stage” - Shakespeare. Aka, Mt.13:30’s gathering of (still) tares - in context - is Rev.16:13-16, the gathering to Armageddon battle (Is.24:20/Rev.10:4) and the gathering of the wheat is Mt.25:1-13(10) - but where? does that door go? It’s THE door that shuts, to a specific time.}

     28 And when he had said these things, Jesus went on up to Jerusalem.

10-03 - Gal 1 20-24 Mark 10 46-52

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 1:20-24

20 - And what I (Paul) am writing to you (Galatian believers), is before God, I am not lying. 21 Next, I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. 22 And I was still not known, in person, to the believers in Judea. 23 They were only hearing, “He who used to persecute us, is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy!” 24 And they praised and glorified God because of it!

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. MARK 10:46-52

46 - (On their way to Jerusalem) they came to Jericho. And then as they were leaving, a great crowd was walking with them. And Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside.

     47 He heard the commotion, and when he learned it was Jesus of Nazareth going by, he began to cry out, “Jesus! Son of David! Have mercy on me!”

     48 Some in the crowd scolded him. “Be quiet!” they said. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David! Have mercy on me!”

     49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him over here.” And they called him, saying to him, “Take heart! Get up, he’s calling for you!” 50 And throwing off his cloak, Bartimaeus sprang up and went to Jesus.

     51 And Jesus said to him, “What is it you want me to do for you?” And he said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 And Jesus said, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” And immediately his sight was restored and he could see. He then joined the crowd that was following Jesus.
