08-27 - 1John 5 14-21 Luke 9 37-45

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 5:14-21

14 - And this is the confidence we have, that if we ask anything - according to His will - he hears us. 15 And if he hears us, we have the requests we ask for. 16 So if you see your brother or sister sinning [hamartanó - missing the mark] ask, and God will give them life (repentance/turning). Unless it’s the sin unto death. Concerning that I cannot say. {Blasphemy/insulting the very Spirit/Presence of God. Called ‘the unforgivable sin’. The unable to be forgiven sin while it’s being practiced! “All the world’s a stage” - Shakespeare.}

    17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is missing the mark that isn’t death {to the faith and “walk”}. 18 For we know that everyone who has been born of God doesn’t just keep on sinning! For God protects them from the evil one. 19 We know that we’re from God, but “the world” lies in the POWER of the evil one. 20 And we know the Son of God has come and has given us understanding. This is so we may know He who is True. And we are in him, the true one, through his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God, and iS life enduring. 21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols.

            🌙 P.M. Luke 9:37-45

37 - On the next day, when Jesus, with John, James and Peter came down from the mountain, a great crowd was waiting. 38 And a man from the crowd cried out, “Teacher! Please come! And look at my son! He’s my only child! 39 An evil spirit seizes hold of him. And he suddenly cries out and it convulses him so badly, he foams at the mouth! It bruises him, and it keeps coming back. 40 I asked your disciples to cast it out, but they couldn’t!”

     41 Jesus answered, “Oh unbelieving and twisted {missing the mark} generation {humans} how long am I to be with you and tolerate you? Bring your son here.”

     42 And even while he was coming, the demon threw him to the ground and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and presented him back to his father. 43 And the crowd was in awe of the majesty of God.

     But while they were all marveling at all which he was doing, Jesus said to his disciples, 44 “Listen carefully to these words, let them sink into your ears - the Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of man.” {The world.} 45 But they didn’t understand what it was he was saying. It was hidden from them, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

08-22 - 1John 4 12-16 Mark 8 27-33

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 4:12-16

12 - No person has seen God. If we love one another, God is in us and abides in us, and his love is made perfect in [en - in, on, at, by, with, among] us. [“Made perfect” - teleióō – to consummate, reach the end-stage, i.e. working through the entire process to reach the final phase and conclusion; from tel/telos - to reach the end-aim, translated as ‘end’.] 13 And it’s by this that we know we abide in him, and he in us, because he has given us of His Spirit/Presence {which “is Love” opposite of passing judgment, division.. It always wears a cloak you know?}. 14 And we have seen - and testify - that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses [homologeó - speaks the same, agrees] (knows) Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in them, and they in God. 16 And so we have come to know, and believe in, the love God has for us. God iS love. And whoever abides in love {has genuine affection for our fellow persons} abides in God. And God abides in them.

            🌙 P.M. MARK 8:27-33

27 - Jesus traveled on with his disciples, walking to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And while they were walking he asked his disciples, “Who do people that say I am?” 28 And they answered, “Some say John the Baptist. Others say, Elijah. Or one of the prophets.”

     29 And he asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered saying, “You are the Christ!” 30 And he told them by no means to tell any one about him. {His execution would come all the sooner..?} [Matthew says Jesus said to Peter “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock {Spirit led belief} I will build my church. And the gates of Hades {death, Eccles.9:10, Ps.16:10, Acts 2:27} will not prevail against it” Mt.16:17,18.] {Gates of entropy.. which “doesn’t quit”.}

     31 He began to teach them how the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the leaders, the chief priests and scribes, and he would be killed, and after three days he would rise. 32 And he said it plainly. So Peter took him aside and said, “Don’t say that!” 33 But turning and seeing his disciples listening, he said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! [Satanas - adversary, accuser.] For your thinking isn‘t upon the things of God, but according to the things of man.”

08-19 - 1John 4 1-3 Mark 8 1-10

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 4:1-3

1 - Beloved, don’t believe every spirit {every wind of doctrine} but test the spirits to see if they’re from God, for many false prophets [pseudo-prophétés - one who in God's name teaches what is not true] have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God - every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ comes [erchomai - to come or go] in the flesh is from God. 3 And every spirit {teaching, word, reasoning} that doesn’t confess Jesus {as coming “in the flesh”} isn’t from God. This is the spirit of antichrist which you heard was coming [erchomai - to come or go] and already is in the world. {I don’t know the greek tenses.. But, if the difference then - his coming understood as literal or not literal, was a dividing line, why not the same with his second coming - parousia - presence, coming, arrival, advent? Not that all, today, who listen to the ‘his coming/return is physically unseen’ are antiChrist and are unbelievers! But the teaching may turn out to be? Anti, against ..His cause?} [Cause - onoma - name, cause, reputation.]

            🌙 P.M. MARK 8:1-10

1 - And then again, on another day, when a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples over and said, 2 “I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve been with me now three days and have nothing to eat! 3 If we send them away to their homes, hungry, they may faint on the way. And some have come pretty far.”

     4 His disciples said, “How can we feed these people bread here in this lonely place?”

     5 But he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” 6 So he told the people to sit down, and giving thanks, he broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to pass out to the people. 7 They also had a few small fish, so he blessed them, and handed them out as well.

     8 Everyone ate and was satisfied, and afterwards they gathered up the broken pieces left over and there were seven full baskets. 9 There was about four thousand people. After that he sent them on their way, 10 and got into the boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

     {When will we learn? God is providing “more than we think or imagine”.. Both collectively and individually.}

08-02- From Heb-13 Mk-4

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 13:1-7  Mark 4:30-34

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 13:1-7

1 - Let brotherly love take root and remain. 2 Don’t be forgetful of hospitality, for by it some have entertained angels without knowing it. 3 Remember your brothers and sisters who are in prison, as though you are in prison with them! And also those who are mistreated, since you also are in this world.

     4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed be undefiled, for the sexually immoral and adulterous God will judge. {All in their hearts! The logic being isn’t that - the, most convincing - perhaps onLy true convincing? JN.12:32.}

     5 Guard from, and keep your life free, from the - love - of money. Be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”. 6 And so we, with all confidence, can say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can mere man really do to me?”

     7 Remember your elders in the faith, those who spoke to you the message [logos - word, speech, message, account, reason, doctrine, expressed in words reasoning] of God. Consider the fruit of their ways, and imitate their faith. {666 ‘only’ runs for 45 days.. test: another 45 is w/ rev.13:13. Which was carried out by an office, and enabled by a magician. I’ll add the verses below.}

            🌙 P.M. MARK 4:30-34 ⭐️

30 - And Jesus said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God? Or what parable shall we use to describe it?

     31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed. When it’s sown in the earth, it’s the smallest of all the seeds. 32 Yet, when it takes root, sprouts and grows, it becomes the tallest and biggest plant in the garden. Even the little birds come and make nests in its branches.” {Summary of the Outlines! ..In the scripture/written logos; the week plus one and within that outline, the Spring and Fall holy days - of Lev.23 - as 1st brief advent and 2nd long advent. See names and patterns.}

     33 It was by many such parables that he taught the message to the people, as they were able to hear. 34 He didn’t speak to them without a parable, but privately, to his own disciples, he explained everything.

45 days = Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44 & 1 Cor.3:16, plus Rev.2:10 as the escalation.

1 more very revealing one - Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:14-16 &/or Mt.25:1-13.

Jn.5:28-29 and Mt.25:46 - phrase is “aionion kolasis” (eonian korrection / age of correction).

07-31 - From Heb-12 Mk-4

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 12:25-27  Mark 4:13-23

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 12:25-27

25 - So take heed lest you refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel didn’t escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!

      26 When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth! And now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” {“Like figs blown by a strong wind”? Rev.6:13.}

     27 This - “Yet once more,” shows that all that can be shaken, will be shaken, and removed. Things having been made, if able to be shaken, will be shaken, so that what cannot be shaken (truth) will remain.

            🌙 P.M. Mark 4:13-23

Jesus said to his disciples and followers, “Do you not understand this parable?” [Of the sower.] “How then will you understand any of the parables?

     14 The sower sows the message [logos] of God.” [Logos - reasoning expressed in words, (the) message, God’s reasoning, boTh personified and written.]

     15 “And the seed along the path that gets eaten up by the birds, is about those who when they hear, Satan comes and takes away the message that was sown. 16 And the seed sown on rocky ground, are those who hear it and receive it with joy, 17 but they lack root in their selves, and endure only for a while, and when persecution or troubles and struggles arise because of the message, they fall away.

     18 And the seed sown among thorns are those who hear the word, 19 but the cares of the world, the allure of the deceitfulness of riches, and desires for other things choke the message, and it proves to be unfruitful.

     20 But the seed sown on good soil, are the ones who hear the message (the logos) and receive it and bear fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixtyfold or even a hundredfold.”

     21 And he said, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket? Under a bed? Or on a lampstand? 22 Nothing is hidden except to be made known. Nor is anything secret, except in order to come to light. 23 Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear!”

07-19 - From Heb-11 Lk-6 Mk-3

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 11:1-6  Luke 6:12-16 Mark 3:13-19

          ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 11:1-6

1 - Now faith - is the assurance of what is hoped for [elpizó - hope, trust, expect] the conviction [élegxos - inner persuasion] of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was [aions were] created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made out of things not seen.

     4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And - through his faith - though he died, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up [metatithemi - changed, removed, translated, transfered] so not [mé - not, lest] he should see death, and he wasn’t found, because God had taken [metatithemi - changed, removed, translated, transfered] him for he was commended by and pleasing to God. 6 And without faith it’s not possible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists! And believe he rewards those who look for him. [Misthapodótēs - from misthos - reward, and apodídōmi - give from, properly, someone paying what is due].

            🌙 P.M. Luke 6:12-16 Mark 3:13-19

12 - In those days Jesus went to the mountain to pray, and continued in prayer all night. 13 When day came, he called those disciples following him [mathétés - disciples, learners, pupils] and chose twelve, whom he named apostles [apostolos - messenger, delegate] - 14 Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; 15 Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot; 16 Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

     17 And he came down and stood on a flat place with them, and with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, 18 who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And those troubled with oppressive spirits were cured. 19 And all the people sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.

    MARK 3:13 - And he went up on the mountain and called to him twelve, and they went up. 14 And he appointed them and called them apostles, so they would be with him going where he went and staying where he stayed. And that he might send them out to preach [kérussó - to proclaim, preach, herald] 15 and have authority to cast out demons. 16 He appointed the twelve: Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter, 17 James and John, sons of Zebedee and called them Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder! 18 Andrew and Philip, Bartholomew and Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus,  Thaddaeus (Judas, son of James), Simon the Zealot, 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

07-16 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:23-29  Mark 2:13-22

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:23-29

23 - Hold fast and keep ahold of the hope [elpis - expectation] you have affirmed [homología - from homoú - the same, together and légō - speak to a conclusion, lay to rest] {be confident!} without wavering, for he who has made {and notarized} the promise is faithful.

     24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we willfully and deliberately practice transgression, after taking to ourselves the knowledge of the Truth, there’s no new sacrifice for sins, 27 and we’re left with a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. {Earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire are at fiery events. Rev.16:14-15-16 versus Mt.25:1-13; MT.13:30.}

      28 Any Hebrew who set aside the law of Moses perishes without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse result [timória - punishment, penalty] do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God! And has profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace!? {😳 Yet “His mercy endures forever”! Jesus said, “All in the tombs/graves will hear his voice and will rise. Some into Life” (into serving called reigning during Jesus’ long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first too brief one) “and some into judgment“ which elsewhere he calls an aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - surely(?) the GWT “judgment”/discernment/review of history and closure for all ‘Day’, Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.}

            🌙 P.M. Mark 2:13-22

13 - Jesus went out again beside the sea, and all the people were coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi [Matthew] the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Matthew was a Jewish/Hebrew collecting taxes for hated Rome! Such tax collector’s were especially despised.)

     15 And as he reclined at table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

     17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are not well. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Hamartia - “missing the mark” of? perfection. “There are none righteous, not one” Romans 3:10. Some may think they are righteous, perfect, or well enough. But! God is Life (surely?) and he “is perfect”. So we can see how this imperfection is entropy? This slow gehenna fading away, which “does not quit” but concludes in the exact opposite of Life. So - 1Tim.4:10 - “God is savior of all” having “built in the remedy from the foundation/beginning”.}

     18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And some came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 19 And Jesus said, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they won’t fast. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they’ll fast. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the wine will burst the skin. The wine is lost, and the skin is ruined. But new wine is for new wineskins.” {And new wineskins are needed for the new wine.}
