            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 13:1-7

1 - Let brotherly love take root and remain. 2 Don’t be forgetful of hospitality, for by it some have entertained angels without knowing it. 3 Remember your brothers and sisters who are in prison, as though you are in prison with them! And also those who are mistreated, since you also are in this world.

     4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed be undefiled, for the sexually immoral and adulterous God will judge. {All in their hearts! The logic being isn’t that - the, most convincing - perhaps onLy true convincing? JN.12:32.}

     5 Guard from, and keep your life free, from the - love - of money. Be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”. 6 And so we, with all confidence, can say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can mere man really do to me?”

     7 Remember your elders in the faith, those who spoke to you the message [logos - word, speech, message, account, reason, doctrine, expressed in words reasoning] of God. Consider the fruit of their ways, and imitate their faith. {666 ‘only’ runs for 45 days.. test: another 45 is w/ rev.13:13. Which was carried out by an office, and enabled by a magician. I’ll add the verses below.}

30 - And Jesus said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God? Or what parable shall we use to describe it?

     31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed. When it’s sown in the earth, it’s the smallest of all the seeds. 32 Yet, when it takes root, sprouts and grows, it becomes the tallest and biggest plant in the garden. Even the little birds come and make nests in its branches.” {Summary of the Outlines! ..In the scripture/written logos; the week plus one and within that outline, the Spring and Fall holy days - of Lev.23 - as 1st brief advent and 2nd long advent.      33 It was by many such parables that he taught the message to the people, as they were able to hear. 34 He didn’t speak to them without a parable, but privately, to his own disciples, he explained everything.

Brief review/background from chapter one - In the first book (the gospel bearing Luke’s name) ..I (Luke) have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up, having given instructions through the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God) to the apostles whom he had chosen. 3 He, by many proofs, presented himself alive after his suffering, having appeared to them for forty days after it and speaking about the kingdom of God to them. 4 And while he was still there, he told them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father. “The promise you heard from me 5 for John baptized with water, but you’ll be baptized with the Holy Spirit (with God’s veRy Presence!) a few days from now.”

     2:1 And so later, when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly! A sound like a mighty rushing wind from above! And it filled the entire house where they were. 3 Flames of fire like tongues appeared above each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God) and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit gave them utterance.

     5 Now there were in Jerusalem Hebrews/Jews, devout men from many nations. 6 And at the sound of the mighty wind, a crowd came together, and they were bewildered, because everyone was hearing them speak in their own language. 7 They were amazed and astonished, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear them, each in our own language? 9 Parthians and Medes, Elamites and residents of Mesopotamia! From Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya belonging to Cyrene, and visitors from Rome! 11 Jews and proselytes both, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them telling in our own tongue the mighty works of God!”

     12 And they were amazed and puzzled, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others mocking said, “They’re filled with wine!”

     14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, spoke up, saying “Men of Judea! And all who are here in Jerusalem! Understand this, and listen to what I say. 15 These are not drunk. It’s only the third hour of the day! 16 But this is what was prophesied by the prophet Joel when he said, ‘In the last days - God says - I will pour out my Spirit upon all the living. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. 18 On my male servants and on my female servants, in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy. 19 I’ll show signs in the heavens above, and signs upon the earth below. And there will be fire, and blood, and vapor of smoke 20 the sun will turn to darkness {from the smoke?} and the moon to blood {reflecting red of fires?} before it is the day of the Lord - the great and magnificent ‘day’! 21 And all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved [sozo - saved, healed, preserved, rescued].’”

     {Saved from what? From the dangers at hand? And ultimately from death (& its cause).. “the wage/result of sin - greek hamartia - missing the mark - is death” (beginning with entropy “which does not quit”) Romans 6:23. This is unavoidable because God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, Jn.12:32. So the remedy was built in from the beginning/foundation, Rev.13:8.} {And part of the “good news of the kingdom” is, life, creation, has to be perfect. And God has each person’s highest blueprint.. “beneath us are the everlasting arms” Deuteronomy 33:27, a word/message/logos to every human being there is and ever has been and will be. Like footprints in the sand.. And sand through the hourglass..} ..was waxing poetic in the 2025 study, lol.

     21 For the Son of Man goes as it’s written of him, but woe to the one who betrays him. {Sympathy for Judas.} It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” {Prophesying how Judas’ life will end.}

     22 Then he took up a loaf of bread, said a blessing, then broke it and passed it out to them, saying “Take and eat. This is my body.”

For I (Paul) through the gospel became your father in Christ Jesus. 16 I urge you, then, be imitators of me. 17 That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church. 18 Some are arrogant, as though I will not be coming to you. 19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I’ll find out - not the boastful talk of these arrogant people - but their power. 20 For the kingdom of God isn’t all talk but power. 21 What do you wish? ACTS 8 1-24

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

1 - And (Pharisee) Saul approved of his (Stephen’s) execution. And on that very day, a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem {and crested} and the believers were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles.

     2 Devout men buried Stephen and great lamentation was shared over him. 3 Meanwhile Saul was ravaging the church, entering house after house, he dragged men and women off to prison.

     4 But those who were scattered went about preaching the message. 5 Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Messiah/Christ. 6 And the crowds as one were listening to what Philip was saying. They heard him because they saw the signs he did. 7 They saw unclean spirits, crying out with loud voices, come out of many. And many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. 8 So there was much joy in that city.

     9 But there was a man there, named Simon, who was a practitioner of magic, and who had astonished the people, proclaiming himself as someone great. 10 They all, least to greatest, paid attention to him, saying, “This man is the power of God who is called Great.” 11 And they listened to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic. 12 But when the city believed Philip as he preached the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he too continued with Philip. And he saw the signs and the great miracles being performed, and he was amazed.

     14 When the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John. 15 So they came down and they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God), 16 for he had not yet fallen upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 So they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. 18 Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered money, 19 saying, “Give me this power! So anyone on whom I also lay my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.” 20 But Peter said to him, “Your silver will ruin and cause you loss, because you thought you could buy the gift of God! 21 You’ve neither partnership or lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray earnestly to the Lord that this intention of your heart may be forgiven you. 23 For I see that you’re in a ruinous bitterness, and in the captivity of an unjust way.” 24 And Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord! That nothing you have said may come upon me.”

9 - Jesus told a parable to some who trusted in their own self worth, and righteousness, while they treated others with contempt. 10 He said, “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, who was standing aloof and by himself, prayed ‘God, I thank you that I’m not like others, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all I own and receive.’

     13 But the tax collector (for Rome, so societally disliked) was standing far off, and wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this one went down to his house justified. But not the other, for everyone who thinks of their self as exalted {better than} will be humbled. And the one who humbles their self will be exalted.”

      15 Many people were bringing their young children to him that he might touch and bless them. And when the disciples saw it, they scolded them. 16 But Jesus called them all to him, and said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For to such belongs the kingdom of God!

     17 Truly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive the kingdom of God like a small child is not able to enter in.”

18 - Jesus said, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what might I compare it?

     19 It’s like a tiny mustard seed, planted in a garden. It grows and becomes like a tree, so birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

     20 Again he said, “To what should I compare the kingdom of God? 21 It’s like leaven which a woman works into THREE ppl measures of meal/flour {loaves?} until all, is leavened.” {1Cor.15:22-24,28 = THREE loaves, three harvests? barley, wheat, grape - Rev.21:5 - “behold! I make all new!” The Greek word “pas” = all. “Things” was inserted at translation. As it was also added in verse 27 and 28 of 1 Corinthians, 15, where pas/all was written five times. In verse 28 “that God be all in all” wouldn’t make much sense translated - ‘that he be all things in all things’. Yet it’s the same word that’s in verse 27. Once the word is restored to its original, what does that one verse (27) repeat three times? — For “God has put all in subjection under the Son’s feet. But when it says, ‘all are put under subjection’ it’s plain he is excepted, who put all in subjection under him.”

     “The kingdom is like leaven which a woman works into THREE measures of meal until all is leavened.”

     22 He continued on his way to Jerusalem, teaching through towns and villages as he went. 23 And someone said to him, “Lord, are those being saved but few?” And he answered, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, seek to enter, but are not able to. 25 When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I don’t know where you come from.’ {I don’t know where you’re coming from? ..This is at his return. (Mt.25:1-13) The door is to “the” millennium and long second advent (of two millennium) with serving called reigning, during? It’s not a forever door closed forever to Life! God “is perfect” Mt.5:48.} 26 Then you will say, ‘But we ate and drank in your presence. You taught in our streets!’ 27 But he will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all workers (and supporters?) of unrighteousness [adikia - injustice, unrighteousness {And Gal.5:20? carnality of division, rivalry}].’

     28 In that place (departed from him) {during GWT judgment ‘day’, initiaLLy} when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves cast outside {being in the inner, outside of the Light darkness} there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 29 And people will come from east, west, north and south. And they will recline at table in the kingdom of God. 30 But, some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”

Pray heartily to the Lord of the harvest that he will send laborers into his harvest. 3 Go your way, but know I’m sending you out as lambs, into the midst of wolves. 4 Don’t take a moneybag, or knapsack. No extra sandals, and don’t greet anyone on the way. 5 Whatever house you enter say, ‘Peace be to this house!’ 6 And if a person of peace is there, your peace will rest upon it. But if not, it will return to you. 7 Remain in that same house, eating and drinking what they set before you, for the laborer deserves their wages. Don’t go from house to house. 8 And whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what they provide. 9 Heal the sick, and tell them the kingdom of God has drawn near to them.

     10 But whenever you enter a town and they don’t receive you, go into the streets and say, 11 ‘Even the dust of your town clinging to our feet, we shake off.    09/04 - GospeL Verses

17 - Later, as he set out and was walking along, a man ran up, knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit the enduring life?” [Aiónios - ages long (life).] (There’s not really a word for ‘forever’ in the Greek.. or the Old Testament Hebrew. But logically, true Life, being God himself, is, of course, enduring life.)

     18 And Jesus answered the man, “Why do you call me good! No one is good except God. 19 As you know the commandments,  ‘don’t murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t bear false witness, don’t defraud, and honor your father and mother.’” (And wouldn’t you know it, there were Pharisee laws on the books that allowed you to put money in trusts, supposedly for the temple, instead of benefitting your elderly parents.) 20 And the man exclaimed, “Teacher! I have kept all these from my youth!” 21 And Jesus, with affection said, “(I see that) You lack one thing! Go and sell all you have, and give to the poor. You will have treasure in heaven. And come, follow me.” 22 Saddened, the man went away sorrowful, for he had great wealth.

     23 And Jesus told his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who have great possessions to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed and wondered. But Jesus explained, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a wealthy person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And they were surprised. “Then who” they said, “can be saved?!” 27 Jesus said, “With man it’s impossible, but with God, everything is possible.”

     52 He sent messengers ahead, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make preparations for him. 53 But the people didn’t receive him, because his face was set toward Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” 55 But he was indignant with them. 56 And they went on to another village. 10 - When the disciple’s returned from being sent out, they told Jesus all that they had done. Then they went on with him to a town called Bethsaida. 11 And when the people heard, they came to him. And he welcomed them, and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and he healed those who had need of healing.

     12 When the day began to be late, the twelve came saying, “Should we send the crowd away to go to the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and food? For we are here in a desolate place.” 13 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.” But they said, “We have only five loaves and two fish, unless we’re to go and buy food for all these people!” 14 For there were about five thousand. He told them, “Have the people sit down in groups of about fifty.” 15 And so they did, 16 and taking the five loaves and the two fish, Jesus looked up into heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to pass out to the people.

     17 And they all ate and were satisfied. When they picked up what was left over, there were twelve baskets of broken pieces. {That’s us! Without him we are all baskets of broken pieces.. Basket cases! In one way or another, and in many ways, lol. But he provides healing, wholeness and the spiritual food we need, the bread/message/Truth and the new wine of God’s Spirit/Presence.}

30 - And Jesus said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God? Or what parable shall we use to explain it!

     31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed! When it’s sown in the earth, it’s the smallest of all the seeds. 32 Yet when it sprouts and grows, it becomes the tallest and biggest plant in the garden, so even the birds can come and make nests in its branches.” {Summary of the Outlines! ..In the scripture/written logos; the week plus one and within that outline, the Spring and Fall holy days - of Lev.23 - as 1st brief advent and 2nd long advent.}

     33 It was by many such parables that he taught the message to the people, as they were able to hear. 34 He didn’t speak to them without a parable, but privately, to his own disciples, he explained everything. {🤔 ..be a disciple?}

24 - Jesus continued, saying to. his disciples and followers, “Pay attention to what you hear. For with the measure you use, is the measure that will be measured to you, and still more besides. 25 For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what they have will be taken away. 26 For the kingdom of God is as if a farmer should scatter his seed upon the earth. 27 And then sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, we know not how. 28 The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain. 29 And when the field of grain is ripe, at once the sickle is put in, because the harvest is ready.” [Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:14-15-16 and/or Mt.25:1-13(10). 13 - Then children were brought to him so he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples scolded the people, 14 but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on each of them before going on.

     16 Just then, a man came up, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17 Jesus said, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who’s good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 “Which ones?” he asked. Jesus said, “Don’t murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t bear false witness, 19 honor your father and mother, and, and love your neighbor as yourself.” 20 The young man said, “All these I’ve kept. What do I lack?” 21 To which Jesus answered, “If you would be perfect, go and sell what you have, and give to the poor. You’ll have treasure in heaven, and come follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sad, for he had great wealth.

     23 Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I tell you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 I tell you, it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly amazed, and said, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus said, “With man himself, it’s impossible, but with God nothing is impossible.” 27 Peter then said, “We’ve left everything and have followed you. What treasure will we have?” 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I tell you, in the time of the regeneration when the Son of man sits on his throne [thronos - seat, throne] of glory, you will sit on twelve seats [thronos] judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit enduring life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and many  who are last, will be first.

Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven is being boldly received by the “eager in pursuit” [biastés]. 13 For the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, 14 and if you’re willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. {John who said the axe is ready to fall.. aNd people were eager for God’s KINGDOM, which few mention, let alone proclaim? ..As of now.} 15 Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear. 16 But to what shall I compare this generation? It’s like children sitting in the marketplace, calling out to their playmates, 17 ‘We played the flute for you, but you didn’t dance. We sang a dirge, but you didn’t mourn.’ 18 For John comes neither eating or drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man comes eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look! 50 - I’ll tell you this {mere} flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can the perishable inherit the imperishable! {The fading away cannot inherit the enduring. You mean we are not inherently immortal!?} 51 And listen! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep (in death, opposite of life and living, Eccles.9:5,10} but we shall all be changed! 52 In a moment! In a mere twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound. And the dead will be raised imperishable, and we too (who remain) shall be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then, shall come to pass, the saying that’s written, “Death is swallowed up in victory!” 55 “O death, where has gone your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and the power of that sting is the law. {God iS life, and “is perfect”. An iron/unbreakable measuring rod.} 57 But thanks be to God! Who gives us - the victory - through our Lord Jesus Christ! {Perishable and perishing/entropy/imperfection remedied by what’s called God’s Great Plan of Salvation, “the Way”. The way that includes writing his law upon heart, mind and psyche, collectively and individually. Humanity and paradise/perfection sealed.}

     58 Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast and immovable! Always abounding in the Lord’s work, knowing that, in him, your labor is not in vain.

7 - Then came the days of unleavened (bread) when it was necessary the Passover lamb be sacrificed. {This is an important and crucial lesson - expressed as in a drama. The sacrifice hAd to be. Is it possible that anything less dramatic could not reach “aLL” - could not appease every conscience, including of the most cruel despots, etc.} [The days: Passover, a “preparation” day, for the meal on First Day of Unleavened Bread, which is the next day (actually evening, as the days begin at sunset rather than midnight).]

     8 So Jesus sent Peter and John ahead saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it.” {I think it was common for some to eat the meal on Passover?} 9 They said to him, “Where will you have us prepare it?” 10 He said, “When you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters 11 and tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 And he will show you a large upper room that is furnished. Prepare it there.” 13 And they went and found it just as he had said, and they prepared the Passover.

     14 And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. 15 And he said, “I have wanted to eat this Passover with you before my suffering. 16 For I tell you I will not eat of it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
