04-29 - 1Tim-6 Mt-24

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • 1 Timothy 6:1-8  Matthew 24:29-35

            ☀️ 1 Timothy 6:1-8

1 - Let all who owe as bondservants regard the mister (of the loan of land or money) as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be accused. {Today employees.} 2 Those who have believing misters mustn’t be disrespectful on the ground that they’re brothers. They should serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things, Timothy. 3 If anyone teaches what doesn’t agree with the words of our Lord Jesus and with the teaching that accords with godliness, 4 they are puffed up with conceit and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy craving for controversy and quarrels about words. Which produce envy, division, abusive speaking, evil accusations. 5 A d cause constant friction among those who are admixtured of mind and destitute of the truth, imagining that the way is a means of gain [porismós - from poros - a way, means (route) that brings gain or profit]. {And anything centered on self somehow?} 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. 8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.

            🌙 Matthew 24:29-35

(Jesus continues.) 29 - “Immediately after those days of tribulation” {the forty-five days of Daniel? Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16} “the sun will darken, and the moon won’t give its light. The stars will fall and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. {Shaken, in Revelation it adds “the stars ..like figs blown by a strong wind” {Rev.16:14-15-16 -> Is.24:20/Rev.10:4.}

     30 Then, will appear the sign [sémeion - token, something man cannot replicate, miracle, sign, indication] “of the Son of Man in the heavens, and all the tribes of earth will mourn {mortal survivors} when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with great power and glory.

     31 And he will send his angels out with a loud trumpet sounding, and they’ll gather his elect from the four directions, from one end under the heavens to the other. {Mt.25:1-13(10), Zech.14:4}

     32 So consider the lesson from the fig tree. As soon as its branch is tender and puts out its leaves, you know summer’s near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know he’s near, at the very door. 34 Truly, I tell you, that generation will not have passed until all these things (the chapter) take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away. But my words will not pass away.”

04-14 - Phil-3 Mt-21

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Philippians 3:1-7  Matthew 21:10-22

            ☀️ Philippians 3:1-7

1 - Finally, my brethren! Rejoice in the Lord!

To repeat these things to you is no trouble to me! (Paul.) And it’s safety for you!

     2 Look out for the dogs {eat dogs, don’t be like them} look out for the evildoers, for those who mutilate the flesh. 3 For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus and we put no confidence in our own efforts {to save us out from death and its cause}.

     4 Though I actually could boast and have confidence in those things that are esteemed among man. I could boast more than others! 5 I was circumcised on the “eighth day”, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews. As to the law, a Pharisee. 6 As to zeal, a persecutor of the church! And so, as to righteousness under the law, blameless. 7 But whatever standing I had {in man’s world, in an empire of man} I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.

            🌙 Matthew 21:10-22

10 - Jesus had entered Jerusalem (riding a donkey, with a crowd before and behind crying “Hosanna!” and waving palm branches).

     And so the whole city (crowds there for Passover) was stirred up. People were saying, “Who is this?!” 11 And others answered, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee!”

     12  Meanwhile, Jesus went into the temple, and drove out all who were selling and buying, by overturning the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who were selling. 13 And he said to them, “It is written! ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’! But you’ve made it a den of thieves!”

     14 Then the blind, and the lame, came to him in the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the scribes (leaders of the nation) saw the wonderful things he was doing, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant and offended.

     16 They said to him, “Do you hear what these children are saying?!” Jesus answered, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have put praise’?”

     17 And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there. 18 Then in the morning, as he was returning to the city, he became hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but leaves only.  {No fruit.} And he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!”

     {Cursed the “fruit” tree! Like saying(?) “Fear God!” if you are abusing others, especially “little ones”.. For it’s He - who cAn destroy body and soul/psyche in gehenna”/this slow fading away/entropy/crucible of imperfection - but who doesn’t! Being “savior of aLL” 1Tim.4:10.}

     And the fig tree withered at once. 20 When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither at once like that!?” 21 And Jesus answered, “Truly, I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you’ll not only do what’s been done to this fig tree, but if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.

     22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, you will receive. If you have faith.”

10-09 - MARK 11 20-26

paraphrased ‘enter the story’

   🕊️reading & study 🕊️

20 - In the morning when they went back by the fig tree that Jesus had cursed, they saw it had withered away right down to its roots. 21 And Peter remembering said, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.” 22 And Jesus told the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 For truly, I say to you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and don’t doubt in your heart, what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. 24 Therefore I say, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you receive it, and you shall. 25 But whenever you pray, if you have something against someone, forgive them, so your Father who is in heaven may forgive you! Forgive your trespasses [paraptóma - a false step, trespass, from parapiptó - to fall in, into or away, to fail; a lapse (deviation) from the truth, an error, slip up, wrong doing that (even) can be unconscious and non-deliberate].”

 🍃🕊️10/30 - GospeL Verses 🍃🕊️

       By Necessity Paraphrased

[Jesus continues.] 28 - “Now when these things begin to take place, stand tall and lift up your heads, because the time of your deliverance is drawing near.”

     29 And he told to them, a parable, “Look at the fig tree (Israel) and all the trees. 30 As soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves that summer is almost here. 31 So also, when you see these things I’ve told you taking place, you know the kingdom of God is near. 32 Truly, I tell you, this generation [genea - race, family, or generation] will noT pass away until [heós - until, as long as, while] all has taken place. 33 Heaven and earth may pass away, but my words will not.”

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 21:10-22

10 - And when Jesus entered Jerusalem, with all the commotion, the whole city became stirred up. And the people were saying, “Who is this?”

     11 And the crowd andwered, “This is the prophet Jesus! From Nazareth of Galilee.” 12 Jesus went into the temple and drove out all those who were selling and buying in the temple. And he flipped over the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who were selling pigeons. 13 He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of thieves!”

     14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the leaders of the nation [the chief priests] and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant [aganakteó - grieved, angered, incensed] 16 and they said to him, “Do you hear what they are saying?” And Jesus said, “Yes, have you never read, ‘Out of the mouths of babies come praise’?” 17 And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there.

     18 In the morning, as he was walking back to the city, he became hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, he went to it and found nothing on it but leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit come from you again!” And at once the fig tree withered. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither just now?” 21 And Jesus answered, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only be able to do such as this, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. 22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” (Also, the “fig tree” Israel withered/fell away because GOD caused it to. Israel was separated to birth Messiah/Savior of the world, then included “in disobedience” making all equal, in order for the nations to be gathered - *within* this Truth proving drama, to Jesus, or in last days, to Armageddon, ironically against Israel.)

                  ~ Philippians 3:1-7 ~

1 - Finally, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! To write these same things to you is no trouble at all, and is a safety for you. 2 Beware of scavengers/predators, the error workers, beware of what we call the circumcision crowd. (The hangers on to the outdated covenant with God, who as with all leaders and leading things had become both powerful and abusive/violent. Besides the purpose of “the law” was not, ultimately, the ‘magic’ needed for restoration - into God’s best blueprint - before which - this all important contrast must be gotten out of the way first, universally.) 3 For we are the true circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh/effort— 4 though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has such reason for confidence, I have more: 5 I (Paul) was circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews. As to the law, a Pharisee. 6 As to zeal, a persecutor of the church. And as to righteousness under the law, blameless. 7 But whatever gain I had, I counted it as loss, for the sake of Christ Jesus.

04/29 𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔪 Mt.24. 1Tim.6

 Gospel Verses 📬⭐️

    Matthew 24:29-35

     29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “’the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ [Rev.6:13 - As figs drop from a fig tree when - blown - by a great wind. And prophet Joel’s gloomy/smoky day, the result of wars and rumors of wars.] 30 And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens. All nations on earth will weep and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his chosen (chosen to believe during this brief lifetime) from the four winds, from one end under heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors. 34 I tell you the truth, this [just named] generation will not pass from the scene/away until all these things take place. 35 The heavens and the earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. [Rev.21:1-5 - (will be) “a new heavens and new earth”.]

From New Testament Letters

          (In Order Written)

   The First Letter to Timothy

        ~ 1 Timothy 6:1-8 ~

1 - Let all who are under a yoke as bondservants (usually paying a loan) regard their own masters (today bosses) as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled. (And society in an uproar. Peaceful change rather than otherwise. Also pertains to workers and employers ..show respect to, is only logical). [“Masters” - (interestedly enough) despótēs - authority (figure) exercises jurisdiction and control]. 2 Bondservants of Christians must not despise them, for they are believers too. Instead, they are to serve them even better, because those who benefit from their work are believers whom they love. These are the things you must teach and tell the people. 3 Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. (And peaceful.) 4 Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding, having an unhealthy desire to argue and quarrel about words, and this brings on jealousy, disputes, insults, evil suspicions, 5 and perpetual arguments from minds that don’t function and no longer have the truth, thinking that religion is a way to profit. (One way or another. Competing.)

     6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 Having food and clothing, let us be content.
