10-09 - MARK 11 20-26

paraphrased ‘enter the story’

   🕊️reading & study 🕊️

20 - In the morning when they went back by the fig tree that Jesus had cursed, they saw it had withered away right down to its roots. 21 And Peter remembering said, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.” 22 And Jesus told the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 For truly, I say to you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and don’t doubt in your heart, what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. 24 Therefore I say, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you receive it, and you shall. 25 But whenever you pray, if you have something against someone, forgive them, so your Father who is in heaven may forgive you! Forgive your trespasses [paraptóma - a false step, trespass, from parapiptó - to fall in, into or away, to fail; a lapse (deviation) from the truth, an error, slip up, wrong doing that (even) can be unconscious and non-deliberate].”
