10-14 - LUKE 20 14-19

scriptures paraphrased to post

  πŸ•Š️a reading & study πŸ•Š️

(Parable of the vineyard continued) 14 - “But when the tenants {I just saw the word tenants as tyrants, reading too much politics!} When they saw the son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir! Let’s kill him! The inheritance will be ours!’ 15 So they killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard. What then will the owner of the vineyard do? 16 He will evict and make war with those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, knowing his meaning, they said, “Surely not!” 17 But looking directly at them he said, “What does this mean then that’s written? ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the main cornerstone’? {The building block. The foundation.} 18 Everyone falling on that stone {truth} will be broken, but to have it fall upon you, is to be crushed.” {Winnowing the wheat, chaff beaten from off the grain, the kernal. Truth is the “iron rod”/the unable to be broken measure/measuring rod.}

     19 The scribes and the chief priests (leaders, authorities) sought to lay hands on him at that very hour. For they knew he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people. {And the parable was fulfilled in 70 CE. If God is denied/rejected, it’s a natural consequence that his shield against the adversary’s hate and rage will fade.. They await resurrection into “aionion kolasin”/eonian korrection/age of correction, Mt.25:46, the original.}
