09 08 - James 3 1-2 Luke 10 13-20

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ CU Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. James 3:1-2

1 - Not many of us, should become teachers. For those who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 We all err in many ways. If anyone doesn’t err in their words, they are mature and full grown, and able to bridle [chalinag贸ge贸 - bridle, control, restrain] {steer} their whole nature.

            馃寵 P.M. Luke 10:13-20

13 - “Woe to you, Chorazin, woe to you, Bethsaida..” Jesus said, “For if the mighty works that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have turned long ago, and sat in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more bearable” [anektoteros - more tolerable, from an茅xomai - ana - up, completing a process, and ex艒 - to have] {it will be better during completion of the process} “for Tyre and Sidon than it will be for you in [en - in, on, at, by, with, among, within] {during} the judgment.

     15 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted up to heaven? No you shall be brought down to Hades” [had茅s - from “A” - not, and idein/eid艒 - see; not seen] {gone, state of gone.. pre the Greek myth}.

     16 “The one who hears [akou贸 - hears, listens, comprehends by hearing] you (disciples) hears me, and the one who rejects [athete贸 - sets aside, does away with] you, sets aside me, and the one who sets aside me, sets aside he who sent me.” {..The art of discipling. But like matter, communication breaks down, is under the law of entropy, as are we.}

     17 Later, when the seventy-two returned, they were happy, and said, “Lord! In your name, even the demons are subject to us!!” 18 And Jesus said, “I beheld Satan” [satanas - adversary] {first gone rogue one} “as lightning fall from heaven.

     19 Look, I’ve given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy [exthr贸s - hostility, deep rooted hatred, resolved to inflict harm]. And nothing shall harm you.

     20 But don’t rejoice because the spirits are subject to you. Rejoice! Because your names are written in heaven.”

08-22 - 1John 4 12-16 Mark 8 27-33

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 4:12-16

12 - No person has seen God. If we love one another, God is in us and abides in us, and his love is made perfect in [en - in, on, at, by, with, among] us. [“Made perfect” - telei贸艒 – to consummate, reach the end-stage, i.e. working through the entire process to reach the final phase and conclusion; from tel/telos - to reach the end-aim, translated as ‘end’.] 13 And it’s by this that we know we abide in him, and he in us, because he has given us of His Spirit/Presence {which “is Love” opposite of passing judgment, division.. It always wears a cloak you know?}. 14 And we have seen - and testify - that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses [homologe贸 - speaks the same, agrees] (knows) Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in them, and they in God. 16 And so we have come to know, and believe in, the love God has for us. God iS love. And whoever abides in love {has genuine affection for our fellow persons} abides in God. And God abides in them.

            馃寵 P.M. MARK 8:27-33

27 - Jesus traveled on with his disciples, walking to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And while they were walking he asked his disciples, “Who do people that say I am?” 28 And they answered, “Some say John the Baptist. Others say, Elijah. Or one of the prophets.”

     29 And he asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered saying, “You are the Christ!” 30 And he told them by no means to tell any one about him. {His execution would come all the sooner..?} [Matthew says Jesus said to Peter “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock {Spirit led belief} I will build my church. And the gates of Hades {death, Eccles.9:10, Ps.16:10, Acts 2:27} will not prevail against it” Mt.16:17,18.] {Gates of entropy.. which “doesn’t quit”.}

     31 He began to teach them how the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the leaders, the chief priests and scribes, and he would be killed, and after three days he would rise. 32 And he said it plainly. So Peter took him aside and said, “Don’t say that!” 33 But turning and seeing his disciples listening, he said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! [Satanas - adversary, accuser.] For your thinking isn‘t upon the things of God, but according to the things of man.”

08-21 - 1John 4 7-11 Mark 8 22-26

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 4:7-11

7 - My dear friends, we should love one another, for love is from God, and the one who loves has been born of God and knows Him.

     8 To not love is to not know God, for God is Love. 9 He has revealed his love for us by sending his one and only Son into the world that we might live in and through him. [Dia - thoroughly, from one side all the way to the other.]

     10 Real love isn't our love for God, it’s his love for us! God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. [Sacrifice - hilasm贸s – properly, propitiation; an offering to appease (satisfy) an angry, offended party (biblehub dot com) — yes we’ve offended God but “HE has subjected all to disobedience” Ro.11:32, and thus to this imperfection/entropy, a slow gehenna crucible that “doesn’t quit” so “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10. {As opposed to an ant farm?} Biblehub - Hilasm贸s is only used twice (in 1Jn.2:2 and 4:10) – both times of Christ's atoning sacrifice that appeases God's wrath] {imo cause & effect, greek orge - passion, as opposed to Ant Farm? Cause & effect including imperfect, being the opposite of Life. Because God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, an iron measure.} [Biblehub - By the sacrifice of Himself, Jesus Christ provided the ultimate hilasm贸s - expiation.] {And I think what really needed to be appeased is the human conscience and oh so delicate and unforgiving psyche.. The otheR offended party.. THE provided propitiation/sacrifice/ransom being strong enough to appease eveRy guilty conscience. And is a contract/testament sealed in blood. And strong enough to reach all ..and don’t forget what a very sad commentary history happens to be.}

     11 Dear friends, since God loved us this much - we, surely, must love each other. {The sacrifice was the closest thing to getting ‘up off the throne’ himself? As wouldn’t then all creation fall apart? ..Logically, he had it all worked out before doing any act of creation. Even Jesus (First/Proto so close to the Father, both administer God’s Spirit/Presence) was tested/improved/perfected by his obedience when he came via the flesh and struggled and prayed - “not my will, but Your’s”. And so is “forever preeminent” via God’s design. And why should we worry, he has it ALL designed.}

            馃寵 P.M. MARK 8:22-26

22 - Jesus and his disciples were entering the town of Bethsaida, when some people from the village  brought a blind man to him, and they asked him to touch him. 23 So Jesus took him by the hand and led him out of the village, where he put spit on the man's eyes and then asked him if he could see anything. {Whatever it takes to inspire faith?} 24 The man looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking around.”

     25 So again, Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes. And this time, as he looked intently, his eyes became whole, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus told him, “Go home, but not by way of the village.”

08-06 - From 1Jn-1 Mk-5

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

1John 1:5-10  Mark 5:1-20

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 1:5-10

5 - This is the message we’ve heard from him and that we proclaim to you - that God is light, and in him is no darkness. No darkness at all.

     6 If we say we have friendship with him while we walk in darkness, we’re deceiving our self and others, and not living the truth. 7 But if we walk in the Light, as he’s in the Light, we have friendship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us {releases} [kathariz贸 - root of catharsis] from all sin [hamartia - missing the mark].

     8 If we say we have no sin {imperfection, falling short, having made mistakes, bad choices, etc} we deceive ourselves, and the truth isn’t in us. 9 If we confess our sins {agree we’re imperfect/miss the mark of perfection} he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us [kathariz贸] from all unrighteousness {all un-rightness! Which is entropy that “doesn’t quit”. So this is a rescue.}. 10 If we say we’ve never fallen short, we make him a liar, and his word {message, truth, logos-logic, reasoning} isn’t in us.

            馃寵 P.M. MARK 5:1-20

1 - When they came to the other side of the sea of Galilee, to the country of the Gerasenes, 2 Jesus stepped out of the boat, and immediately, a man came out from among the tombs and met him. 3 He had an unclean spirit and lived there among the tombs. No one could keep him bound, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been shackled and chained, but he broke the chains apart, and tore the shackles in pieces. There was no one strong enough to subdue him. 5 And night and day he wandered among the tombs and among the hills, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

     6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell down before him. 7 And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me?! Jesus, Son of the Most High God! I beg you by God, don’t torment me!” 8 For Jesus was saying to him, “Come out of the man! You unclean spirit!” 9 And he asked him, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion! For we are many!” 10 Then he begged him not to send them out of the country. 11 On the nearby hillside, a large herd of pigs was feeding, 12 and they begged him, “Send us to the pigs, and let us enter them.”

     13 So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came rushing out and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned.

     14 The herdsmen ran and told what had happened to the people in the city and the surrounding countryside. And people came to see. 15 And when they came to Jesus and saw the demon possessed man who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed, and in his right mind, they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it repeated to them what had occurred to the man and to the pigs.

     17 Then because they were afraid, the people asked Jesus to go away and leave the region. 18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons asked him if he might go with him. 19 But Jesus said, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you. And how he has had kindness upon you.” 20 And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis, the “land of the ten cities” how much Jesus had done for him. And they all marveled.

     [Mark wrote unclean spirit - “pneuma akathartos“  pneuma - wind, spirit, and akathartos, which is “a” without kathartos, root of catharsis - in verses 3 and 8. But demon possessed - “daimonizomai” in vs.18.

     Luke called the man demon possessed - “ech贸 daimonion” Lk.8:27. And having many demons/daimonion, vs.30.] {From Rev.12:3,4,9 - “..a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven (“the stars are angels” Rev.1:20) and cast them to the earth ..the great dragon.. that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world“.

     Rev.13:1, the beast with seven heads and ten horns is his world empires used against the faith “five are fallen, one is (Roman Empire at the time) and one is to come” (after Western Civilization having blocked it is fully overcome) “but it will only remain for a little while - Dan.7:27 and 12:11-12 with Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16. A math riddle.

   Revelation chapter 12 is the 2nd of 3 tellings of the revelation vision. Vs.17 with Mt.23:39. Posting a Rev.12 study soon. These are my own studies.}

07-16 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:23-29  Mark 2:13-22

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:23-29

23 - Hold fast and keep ahold of the hope [elpis - expectation] you have affirmed [homolog铆a - from homo煤 - the same, together and l茅g艒 - speak to a conclusion, lay to rest] {be confident!} without wavering, for he who has made {and notarized} the promise is faithful.

     24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we willfully and deliberately practice transgression, after taking to ourselves the knowledge of the Truth, there’s no new sacrifice for sins, 27 and we’re left with a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. {Earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire are at fiery events. Rev.16:14-15-16 versus Mt.25:1-13; MT.13:30.}

      28 Any Hebrew who set aside the law of Moses perishes without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse result [tim贸ria - punishment, penalty] do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God! And has profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace!? {馃槼 Yet “His mercy endures forever”! Jesus said, “All in the tombs/graves will hear his voice and will rise. Some into Life” (into serving called reigning during Jesus’ long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first too brief one) “and some into judgment“ which elsewhere he calls an aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - surely(?) the GWT “judgment”/discernment/review of history and closure for all ‘Day’, Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.}

            馃寵 P.M. Mark 2:13-22

13 - Jesus went out again beside the sea, and all the people were coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi [Matthew] the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Matthew was a Jewish/Hebrew collecting taxes for hated Rome! Such tax collector’s were especially despised.)

     15 And as he reclined at table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

     17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are not well. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Hamartia - “missing the mark” of? perfection. “There are none righteous, not one” Romans 3:10. Some may think they are righteous, perfect, or well enough. But! God is Life (surely?) and he “is perfect”. So we can see how this imperfection is entropy? This slow gehenna fading away, which “does not quit” but concludes in the exact opposite of Life. So - 1Tim.4:10 - “God is savior of all” having “built in the remedy from the foundation/beginning”.}

     18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And some came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 19 And Jesus said, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they won’t fast. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they’ll fast. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the wine will burst the skin. The wine is lost, and the skin is ruined. But new wine is for new wineskins.” {And new wineskins are needed for the new wine.}

07-14 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:14-17  Luke 5:17-26

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:14-17

14 - For now, by one, single offering, he has perfected for all time, those who are being sanctified. {Decontaminated of imperfection/entropy, completed later.} {God is Life, and “is perfect” but no option to stray in Eden would be an Ant Farm! So now this imperfection/entropy which “doesn’t quit” so Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10.}

     15 And the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} also bears witness, for after saying, 16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days” declares the LORD, “I will put my laws in their hearts. And will write them on their minds.” (Rev.7:9,4; 14:4, truth virgins?) 17 Then he adds, “I will no more be mindful of their sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and their lawless deeds.” {As Perfection.. purity, unavoidably consumes impurity. “Our God is a consuming fire” Heb.12:29. And iS Life, and “perfect” ..So?}

            馃寵 P.M. Luke 5:17-26

17 - One day when he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there {the ‘experts’, authorities, basically political not spiritual/devoted} who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the LORD was with Jesus to heal. 18 And some men brought a man on a bed who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus. 19 But finding no way to bring him in, because of the size and press of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man! Your sins are forgiven you!” 21 And the scribes and Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

     22 Jesus perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? or, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But so you know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” - he said to the man who was paralyzed - “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 25 And immediately he rose up before them, picked up what he had been lying upon, and went home glorifying God. 26 Amazement seized the crowd, and filled with awe, they glorified God, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today!”

     {This is not a contradiction of yesterday from Mark 2. It was a crowd, I’m sure they said more than one thing. All so called contradictions in the bible are easily explained. Eye witness accounts always differ in details. Genealogies likely came from human records, so discrepancies are likely. “Four corners of the Earth” means north, south, east, west. And fyi, it was a big bang into the universe as is, then it was put in motion.. not a steady state explosion still going on for billions of years.}

ACTS 4 23-37

 Luke wrote “of the things fulfilled among us” paraphrased  [ ] ref  { } thots

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

23 When Peter and John were released {from the sanhedrin/court} they went to the rest of the believers and reported what the chief priests and elders had said. 24 And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together in prayer and praise, saying, “Sovereign LORD, you who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and everything in them, 25 and who through our father David, your servant, said by the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} — ‘Why do the nations rage?! And the people devise vain things?! 26 The highest ones of earth gather and set theirselves, against the LORD and against his Anointed.’ 27 In fact, this has happened here in this very city! For Herod (Antipas), Pilate the governor, the Gentiles (of the nations) and the people of Israel were united against Jesus. Your holy servant, whom you anointed. 28 But it was your purpose, and your plan, that you ordained to happen! 29 And now, LORD, hear their threats and grant to your servants to speak your word [logos - reasoning, message; root word of logic] with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, with signs and wonders performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

     31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God}. And they continued to speak the word/message of God with boldness. [Ps.2]

     {God is Life and “is perfect” so imperfect is entropy (which “doesn’t quit”) and “God is savior..” 1TIM.4:10. Also “perfect” means the ‘end’ result of this one & done (greek word “tel” the end-aim) can’t be anything but the best one possible.}

     32 Those who believed were of one heart and mind. No one even said what belonged to them was theirs, but they had all things in common. {Not a state supplies.. and thus owns, situation.} 33 And with great power the apostles were proclaiming and testifying to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 And no one among them was in need, for as many as were owners of lands and houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and put it in the apostle’s hands, and it was distributed to each as any had need. [From a Biblehub commentary (Ellicott’s) - “There was, in this sale of their estates, a proof of faith in the future desolation which Jesus had foretold, having properties in Palestine” (the name began as the world’s name for Israel) “was likely to be a source of anxiety rather than profit. Like Jeremiah had shown his faith in the future restoration of his people by purchasing the field at Anathoth”.]

     36 And so it was too, that Joseph, also called Barnabas, which means son of encouragement [parakl茅sis], a Levite (line who served in the temple, but not as a priest) and a native of Cyprus, 37 sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money to the apostles.

     {Barnabas goes with Paul on Paul’s first “missionary journey” - the first of his travels proclaiming the good news of resurrection, and belief and following Jesus to inherit the better resurrection - Mt.25:46 “into Life” (Mt.25:1-13!) or into “aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - Rev.20, “putting on perfection and (thus) immortality” at the palin(again)genesis, Rev.21:5, tho “all” was changed into “all things”. Still true but a downgrade. Note, the three mentions of lake of fire are at huge, fiery events. Father’s outline(s) - the week plus 1 millennia; the Spring and Fall holy days of Lev.23 as 1st and 2nd advents.}

Next Week - 5:1-16
