07-16 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:23-29  Mark 2:13-22

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:23-29

23 - Hold fast and keep ahold of the hope [elpis - expectation] you have affirmed [homología - from homoú - the same, together and légō - speak to a conclusion, lay to rest] {be confident!} without wavering, for he who has made {and notarized} the promise is faithful.

     24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we willfully and deliberately practice transgression, after taking to ourselves the knowledge of the Truth, there’s no new sacrifice for sins, 27 and we’re left with a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. {Earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire are at fiery events. Rev.16:14-15-16 versus Mt.25:1-13; MT.13:30.}

      28 Any Hebrew who set aside the law of Moses perishes without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse result [timória - punishment, penalty] do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God! And has profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace!? {😳 Yet “His mercy endures forever”! Jesus said, “All in the tombs/graves will hear his voice and will rise. Some into Life” (into serving called reigning during Jesus’ long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first too brief one) “and some into judgment“ which elsewhere he calls an aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - surely(?) the GWT “judgment”/discernment/review of history and closure for all ‘Day’, Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.}

            🌙 P.M. Mark 2:13-22

13 - Jesus went out again beside the sea, and all the people were coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi [Matthew] the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Matthew was a Jewish/Hebrew collecting taxes for hated Rome! Such tax collector’s were especially despised.)

     15 And as he reclined at table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

     17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are not well. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Hamartia - “missing the mark” of? perfection. “There are none righteous, not one” Romans 3:10. Some may think they are righteous, perfect, or well enough. But! God is Life (surely?) and he “is perfect”. So we can see how this imperfection is entropy? This slow gehenna fading away, which “does not quit” but concludes in the exact opposite of Life. So - 1Tim.4:10 - “God is savior of all” having “built in the remedy from the foundation/beginning”.}

     18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And some came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 19 And Jesus said, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they won’t fast. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they’ll fast. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the wine will burst the skin. The wine is lost, and the skin is ruined. But new wine is for new wineskins.” {And new wineskins are needed for the new wine.}

07-15 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:18-22  Luke 5:27-39 and ACTS 5:17-42 separately

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:18-22

18 - Where there is forgiveness [aphesis - pardon, release, remission] there is no more [ouketi - no more, no longer] offering for sin. 19 TheReFoR, brothers and sisters - since we hAve confidence {being pardoned, declared innocent/righteous} - to enter the most holy place {God’s Presence} by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way he opened for us through the curtain [through the curtain and veil of the temple, to Father’s Spirit and Presence] that is, through Jesus’ bodily life and death, 21 aNd, since we have a great high priest over the house of God - let us draw near, with a genuine heart in full confidence and faith. For our hearts have been sprinkled clean from a bad [poneros - evil, wicked, malicious, bad] conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. {Sprinkled and washed like priests’ cleansing of self and others, a shadow, reflection, replica of the real, which is Christ, once for all. 🤔 Such is the human condition - it was portrayed over and over, every year, week and day (the sacrifices provided food for the priests, etc. And humanity allowed to be carnivore (during and) after the flood to avoid being prey?} But when it happened, they didn’t recognize it. Few of the ‘experts’ understood and perceived, even with the miracles. Prophecy is a miracle too.. Through the prophets He told Israel and other nations over and over what a runaway train heading to abyss/war/fiery judgments they were on. And ultimately it iS God’s judgments. For it was He who created a cause and effect universe (as opposed to ant farm? Immunity versus ant farm?).. The first lake of fire mention is at armageddon. Last Seal 6 event(s). The seals are described at the very beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects, first to last. Which seems to have hidden what they are and most of the vision!]

            🌙 P.M. Luke 5:27-39

27 - Later on as he was walking, Jesus saw a tax collector named Levi [Matthew] sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, “Come and follow me.” 28 And leaving the booth, Levi followed. (Tax collectors were very disliked in Israel, and viewed as traitors, because the were working as tax collector’s for occupying Rome.)

     29 And later, at his house, he gave a great feast for him. And there was a large company of tax collectors and others reclining at table with them. 30 And the Pharisees and scribes complained to Jesus’ disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

     31 But Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, only the unwell.” {Which is all of us!} 32 “I’ve not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

      33 And they said, “The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do our disciples, but yours both eat and drink!”

     34 Jesus said, “Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom’s with them?” {During celebration/feast.} 35 “Days will come when the bridegroom is taken away. They will fast in those days.”

     36 And so he told a parable, “No one patches an old garment with a patch made of new cloth. If they do, the piece from the new won’t match the old, and the tear will be made worse.

     37 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the new wine will burst the skin and be spilled, and the skin will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into a new wineskin. 39 But no one after drinking old wine desires the new, for they say, ‘The old is good” {enough?} [Chréstos - kind, good, benevolent, useful.] {Even in this imperfection/entropy/unavoidable contrast, there is a ton of good life, and blessings of life. We shouldn’t believe the negative, angry voices and trends, they are gathering to armageddon.. large or small, individual or collective. The three frog/sLow boil, voices of Rev.16: the voice of the dragon/accuser/rage/hate; the voice of the beast(s)/leading to a many headed geopolitical entity/institution ‘of peace’; and the voice of the world’s false prophet, whose “strong delusion” of “seating man in the temple as god”/highest power, has caused Western Civilization, once called Christendom, to “fall away” (in preparation) Rev.12:15. (The chapter is the middle of 3 tellings of the vision, vs.17 with Mt.23:39.) As Rev.16:14-15-16 versus, Mt.25:1-13!

07-02 - From Heb-7 Lk-3 Mk-1

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 7:13-17 Luke 3:15-22 Mark 1:9-13

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 7:13-17

13 - The one these things are spoken about belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14 For it’s evident our Lord was descended from Judah. And about that tribe Moses didn’t say anything about priests.

     15 So this becomes even more evident when a new priest arises in the example of Melchizedek, 16 who is a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning one’s descent, but by the power of an indestructible {non-entropic} life. 17 For it is testified of him, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.” {Who seemed, by the way met, to have a non ending priesthood.}

            🌙 P.M. Luke 3:15-22, Mark 1:9-13

15 - As the people were wondering about John, whether he might be the Christ, 16 he answered them, saying, “I baptize you with water! But he who is mightier than I is coming! The strap of whose sandals I’m not worthy to untie! He’ll baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with {his} fire! {Spirit.} 17 His winnowing fork is in his hand! To clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” {Chaff is part of the wheat.. the kernal goes into his barn - “we’re the big door prize” - Jn Prine. And the chaff is blown away in the breeze.. {like what occurs during “the 8th day”. And it’s HE who has the winnowing fork! Not Satan with a pitchfork in his forever kingdom of pain, sorrow, and death, and 80% or more of all humanity.. Lol, God “is Perfect” Mt.5:48.}

     18 And with many other exhortations John proclaimed the good news to the people. 19 But Herod the tetrarch (the son of Herod the Great who had tried to destroy/devour Jesus when he was one or two years of age, Rev.12:4, the chapter is the middle of three tellings of the revelation vision - with Mt.23:39) who had been publicly scolded by John for Herodias, his brother's wife, adding to all the evil he had already done, 20 he locked John up in prison.

     21 When the people were baptized [“preparing the way before him”] and Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit {Presence of God in fullness} descended and alighted upon him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son. With you I am well pleased.”

    MARK 1:9 - In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. 10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove. 11 And there was heard a voice from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son, and with you, I am well pleased.” [“We shall be like him.”]

     12 Then the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness. 13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. {First gone rogue one. God, being Life, suffers all things, and endowed thinking and reasoning ability to mankind and angelkind anyway! And engineered this ‘quick’ one & done contrast/proof.} And he was with the wild animals {I bet they were friendly with him} and the angels ministered to him.

06-27 - From Heb-6 Mt-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 6:7-11  Matthew 2:13-23

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 6:7-11

7 - The thing is, land that has drank in the rain that falls upon it, and produces a crop good, and is useful to those for whom it’s cultivated, receives the blessing from God. {It’s harvested.} 8 But if it bears thorns and thistles, it’s not useful for cultivation and is cursed, and its ‘end’ is to be burned. {See!? This is not an eternal fire! It - never - is. Worse case scenario would be a temporary ‘burning’ - but as spiritual fire. Purity consumes impurity, like Light consumes dark. Which some of us (humanity) are experiencing during this brief lifetime. So never some sort of pit or dungeon, unless inner, but as it turns out, an “aion-ian kolasis” / age of correction.

     Mostly I think the prophesied fires are wars, fiery judgments, the eventual consequence of all division, etc. You know, what the world is so busy dishing out. And cause and effect as judgment is in line with the three mentions of lake of fire being at huge fiery events.. First mention is at armageddon battle. Which surely is not all that surprising. And this imperfection is entropy, which is surely a crucible!? ..We gather weeds to a bonfire! We burn off a field and it grows back greener!

     The whole thing being options for creation, aka, paradise, (1)a total Ant Farm - which actually, is no paradise! Or, (2)total ‘herd’ immunity, the dis-ease being allowed to run its course. Turns out it’s part of the cure ..And immunity.

     The “first” of Mt.13:30 (weeds gathered to the bonfire) is Rev.16:14-15-16, which follows, and ends, a 45 days triple six tribulation Dn.12:11-12 W/ Lk.19:41,44 & 1Cor.3:16 (and Rev.2:10 as the escalation) logically? The “7yrs” is only how long a so called lauded “peace! peace!” (global under the last world domination empire) will actually last. And - Dn.12:11 - it will be broken against - we guessed it - Israel in about the middle of it. Then, 3.5 hebrew years plus 30 days later, the “false prophet” of the world’s last “miracle” and modern wonder “is set up” ..”where it shouldn’t be”. But not necessarily in a “3rd temple”! As said prophet has aLready “seated man/anthropos in the temple as god”/highest power, causing the west once called Christendom/Western Civilization to “fall away”. I may delete most of this tangent, lol.}

    9 Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things, things that belong to the saving way! 10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you’ve shown for his name, in serving his people, as you still are. {Feeding his sheep; wholesome nourishment; passing on the message}. 11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance to the end. {“What has God asked of thee O man! But to act justly, love kindness and mercy, and to walk humbly with the LORD thy God?” Micah 6:8.}

     [Plérophoria - full assurance, complete certainty, full conviction ..”of hope” [elpis - expectation!] “To have the full certainty, of expectation until the ‘end’ [telos - the end aim] to GOD’s end-aim.]

     From a biblehub dot com commentary — like the old pirate’s tel-escope.. things progress - prophecy is fulfilled - in scopes, until reaching full scope, and end-aim.) {Including the advents? ‘Smaller’ pond ripple, to fuLL pond ripple, during which we can be helpers serving. Called reigning, can you see why? “Crowns of ?” - oR be on the other side of that appointment. God “is Perfect” loses nothing. Unless it’s the rogue ‘angels’ but even then..? Eph.1:10, but where “all” has been changed to read “all things” - in many verses, when it wouldn’t sound goofy.}

            🌙 P.M.           Matthew 2:13-23

13 - Now when the wise men from the east had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child in order to destroy him.” {Rev.12:4, the chapter being the middle telling of three tellings of the revelation vision, but verse 17 needs Mt.23:39. The other two tellings are 6:1-2 to 11:19 and 13:1 to 19:11. Then the three rejoin at the seventh trumpet’s sounding. In chapter six is the first veiling.. but once we know it’s there? It’s a riddle! Veils the entire vision, but especially the sixth seal and chapter seven. Note 7:1,3 where we’re still at for now.}

     14 So he rose and took the child and his mother by night and went to Egypt. 15 And they stayed there until the death of Herod. This fulfilled what the LORD had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my Son.”

     16 Then Herod (the Great) when he saw he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and had killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all the region around, who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, 18 “A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children, she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.” [Ramah is the hill overlooking Bethlehem where Rachel was buried.]

     19 Now when Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child's life are dead.” 21 And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee. 23 And they lived in a city called Nazareth, so what was spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.

06-26 - From Heb-6 Lk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 6:1-6  Luke 2:21-38

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 6:1-6

1 - Therefore let us go on from the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God {stage one?} 2 and of the instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection [anastasis] of the dead, and of aiónios judgment. [Aiónios is the adjective of the noun, aion, root of eon, but translated eternal or forever.]

     3 And move on, we shall do, if God allows. 4 For it’s nigh impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, have shared in the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} 5 and have tasted the goodness of the message of God, and the powers of the coming age (“aion”) 6 and then have fallen away. It’s impossible - for us - to restore such a one again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God in their heart, and causing him to be ridiculed. {So if we’re teaching morality license, we’re working against God and his purposes.}

            🌙 P.M. Luke 2:21-38

21 - And then on his eighth day, when he was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

     22 And when the time came for their purification, according to the Law of Moses [after forty days] they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord at the temple, 23 as written in the Law of the LORD, it being written, “every male who first opens the womb shall be called holy to the LORD”. 24 And so they offered a sacrifice according to the Law, “a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.” {Parallel and patterned after HiS being the only begotten, only straight out from God, who is Life.. Genius.. Perfection, and is called and will forever be “the Firstborn (of) all Creation”.}

     25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit{Presence of God} that he wouldn’t see death until he had seen the Lord's Christ. 27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, 28 he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, 29 “LORD! Now you are letting your servant depart in peace! According to your word to me, 30 for my eyes have seen the salvation 31 you’ve prepared for all peoples, 32 a light for revelation to the nations, and for glory to your people Israel!”

     33 And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed. 35 A sword will pierce through your own soul, and the hearts of many will be revealed.”

     36 There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived with her husband for seven years, 37 and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She didn’t depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day. 38 And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the delivery and redemption [lýtron - full ransom-price] of Jerusalem.

Hebrews 2:15-18  Lk.24:49-53, Mk.16:19,20

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:15-18

[14 - Since the sons and daughters are flesh and blood, Jesus {“forever first” and the firstborn Son} took on flesh and blood to be like them. He did this so that by dying he would destroy death and the one holding/using its strength, the devil, Greek “diabolos” - “accuser, slanderer in order to cause harm”] 15 - and so, to deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to a life of captivity. 16 For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.

     17 Therefore it was due benevolence [opheiló - owed, was indebted, an obligation] to be like the brothers and sisters in every respect - in order to - be a merciful and faithful high priest in His service to God, and to satisfy the debt [hilaskomai - satisfy debt, pay bill, gain or regain the goodwill or favor of, to appease, atone] for the sins [hamartía - noun derived from A - not, and méros - a part, share of – properly, no-share, no part of, loss (forfeiture) because not hitting the target, sin, missing the mark] of the people.  {Ro.11:32 - “God has consigned all to disobedience that he may have mercy upon all.” I’m convinced what needs appeasing is the human conscience.}

      18 And because he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. {Big ‘winds’ these days.. We can be tempted to join the accuser, and the ideas, trends/spirits of “the world”.}

            🌙 P.M. Lk.24:49-53, Mk.16:19,20

49 - “Look” Jesus said, “I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But wait in the city (Jerusalem) until you’re clothed with power from on high.”

     50 Then walking with them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands Jesus blessed them. 51 And while he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 Then they worshiped, and went back to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And were continually in the temple praising God.

     MARK 16:19 - So then the Lord Jesus, having spoken with them, was taken up into heaven. And he sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they (followers, witnesses) went out and told the message everywhere. And the Lord worked with them, confirming the message with signs [sémeions - miracles, signs, tokens, wonders].

06-13 - From Heb-2 Jn-21

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 2:9-11  John 21:16-25

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:9-11

9 - We see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels! {Remember Melchizidek.} But then we see him crowned with glory and honor because of his suffering of death. By the grace of God, he suffered death for all. 10 For it was fitting, that he, for whom and by whom, all exist, in bringing many to glory, should make the captain [archégos - pioneer] of their salvation [sótéria - deliverance, safety] {tested, tempered to} perfect, through suffering. 11 For he who sanctifies {by his suffering} and those who are sanctified, are all of one. That’s why he’s not ashamed to call them brethren [adelphos - of the same womb, brother, also sister].

            🌙 P.M. John 21:16-25

(Still by the sea) 16 - Jesus said to Peter a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter answered, “Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”

     17 Then he said to him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter felt grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” so he said to him, “Lord! You know everything! You know I love you!” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.”

     18 “Truly, I tell you, when you were young, you would dress yourself and go wherever you wanted, but when you’re old, you’ll stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you don’t want to go.” 19 This he said to show by what kind of death he would suffer, but glorify God by. And after saying it, he said, “Follow me.” {Be sure to follow me, and you will be able to feed my sheep nourishing food at the proper time. ..And noT be found confused with the confused, aka with “the world”, noR found of him beating up on other members of the household, the sheep (in word, thought or deed) Mt.24:48-49, but vs.51 would be “separated to” the other role. There are many enchantments? It really doesn’t matter which overcomes? A little leaven leavens the whole lump?}

    20 Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. (This is how John, the author, referred to himself.) The one who also had leaned back against him during supper that last (supper) night, and said, “Lord, who is it that’s going to betray you?”

     21 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?” 22 Jesus said, “If it’s my will he remain until I come, what’s that to you? You follow me.” 23 So after a while the saying spread among the brothers and sisters that this disciple wouldn’t die. Yet Jesus didn’t say he wasn’t going to die, but, “If it’s my will he remain until I come, what is that to you?”

     24 This is the disciple who is bearing witness about all these things, and who has written this account of them, and we know his testimony is true. {Saw it with his own eyes.} 25 There are also many other things that Jesus did. But if every one of them were to be written, I suppose the world itself couldn’t contain the books that would be written. {Imagine all that will be accomplished during long second advent! As literal as the first.}
