07-16 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:23-29  Mark 2:13-22

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:23-29

23 - Hold fast and keep ahold of the hope [elpis - expectation] you have affirmed [homología - from homoú - the same, together and légō - speak to a conclusion, lay to rest] {be confident!} without wavering, for he who has made {and notarized} the promise is faithful.

     24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we willfully and deliberately practice transgression, after taking to ourselves the knowledge of the Truth, there’s no new sacrifice for sins, 27 and we’re left with a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. {Earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire are at fiery events. Rev.16:14-15-16 versus Mt.25:1-13; MT.13:30.}

      28 Any Hebrew who set aside the law of Moses perishes without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse result [timória - punishment, penalty] do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God! And has profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace!? {😳 Yet “His mercy endures forever”! Jesus said, “All in the tombs/graves will hear his voice and will rise. Some into Life” (into serving called reigning during Jesus’ long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first too brief one) “and some into judgment“ which elsewhere he calls an aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - surely(?) the GWT “judgment”/discernment/review of history and closure for all ‘Day’, Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.}

            🌙 P.M. Mark 2:13-22

13 - Jesus went out again beside the sea, and all the people were coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi [Matthew] the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Matthew was a Jewish/Hebrew collecting taxes for hated Rome! Such tax collector’s were especially despised.)

     15 And as he reclined at table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

     17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are not well. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Hamartia - “missing the mark” of? perfection. “There are none righteous, not one” Romans 3:10. Some may think they are righteous, perfect, or well enough. But! God is Life (surely?) and he “is perfect”. So we can see how this imperfection is entropy? This slow gehenna fading away, which “does not quit” but concludes in the exact opposite of Life. So - 1Tim.4:10 - “God is savior of all” having “built in the remedy from the foundation/beginning”.}

     18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And some came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 19 And Jesus said, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they won’t fast. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they’ll fast. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the wine will burst the skin. The wine is lost, and the skin is ruined. But new wine is for new wineskins.” {And new wineskins are needed for the new wine.}

02-12 - Ro-9 Mt-12

🗝️s New Testament & Bible prophecy study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 9:1-8  Matthew 12:46-50

            ☀️ Romans 9:1-8

1 -  I (Paul) am speaking the truth in Christ - I’m not lying, my conscience bearing witness to me in God’s Holy Spirit - 2 that I have great sorrow and unending anguish in my heart! 3 I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers! My kinsmen according to the flesh. {‘Accursed’ - to rise into GWT judgment ‘day’ of kolasis/korrection/correction, separated from the “first resurrection” at the Lord’s (literal and full) appearing and return.}

     4 They’re Israelites! And to them belong the adoption! The glory! The covenants! The giving of the law, the worship, and the promises! 5 To them belong the patriarchs. And from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is over all, and God blessed forever. Amen and amen! {But alas.. the “human condition”.}

     6 But it’s not as though the word [logos - reasoning, word, message] {plan/working} of God has failed! For not all who are descended from Israel are belonging to {the spiritual, totality and ultimate} Israel. 7 And not all are children of Abraham because they are his (mortal) offspring. But as it’s written, “through Isaac shall your descendants be.” 8 This means it’s not the mortal person who is named as being a child of God {not the imperfect strayed self} but it’s the children {and self} of the promise who are counted/named as the children.

           🌙 Matthew 12:46-50

46 - While he was still speaking to the crowd of people, word came that his mother and his brothers were outside, asking to speak to him. 48 But he replied, “Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?” 49 And gesturing to his disciples, followers and students, he said, “Here, these are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” {And then very likely he went out to them or had them brought in to him, being a good Jewish/Hebrew son and brother. This is like Israel, too.. Israel waits ‘outside’ during this “time of the gentiles/nations” sometimes called ‘the church age’ but now due to a “strong delusion” of “seating man/anthropoi in the temple as god”/highest power, society has largely “fallen away” (and into “lawlessness”) and will make human governing to be ‘god’ and ‘all powerful’.) Two concurrent gatherings? Mt.13:30 as Rev.16:13-14-15, siren call division with global effect called bowls/wrath, and (or to) Mt.25:1-13, “whoever does the will of My Father in heaven”.}

Little Things

I prayed.. I asked God, "please.. if I'm wrong about these things (warnings and signs relating to the trend of fulfilling Bible prophecies of a coming world governing gone tyrannical, what the Bible calls worst time ever, but plain and specific signs given so its worst days, 45, can be avoided) please let me know.. don't let me teach in any tiny way, anything which is not true.."
- The Lord 'speaks' to me (if you're a believer, you know what I mean) sometimes, quite often, actually, using my birth date in various ways - 5,5,55. It's amazing how many times I wake up at 5:55 or look up at the clock and it's 2:22 or 3:33, or something :55... Silly perhaps, to some.
- I like to relax by reading a short romance or adventure story written by Christians. My favorites are old world, simpler life style settings of settlers or other old fashioned, reverent type stories where good triumphs, etc. and faith is common to the culture and the families. My latest one was an adventure set in the days of the rising of Hitler in Germany... It all started out sort of slow, those days, and all the while the news reported how good things were. And Hitler did actually rise to power by doing some very good things. Promised prosperity for all, education for all, fitness programs for all.. And he resurrected their very ailing currency and economy. The nation went from chaos to order, and the people idolized him. He was great, he was for the common person, they lauded him with rapture and spellbound faces. But the heroine of the story stumbled upon the ugly truth of the first ghettos where the Jewish citizens were imprisoned after much of the nation was stirred up into hatred of them (first beginning as condescension and disdain?). Every problem of life and society the nation had experienced was their fault, so the party line went, first they were ignorant, against progress and then they were evil intentioned and finally "vermin". They were forced from their homes, and government confiscated their businesses. And soon they were to be trucked off to death camps. At a pivotal moment in the story, our heroine noted the time, 5:55.
- The hero and heroine of course went on to live happily ever after, having rescued one such ghetto of residents from being ex-terminated. And at the end of the story as grandparents they visited the Holocaust Museum. As they left that place they said "I can barely stand to think of the holocaust, but thank God for this memorial". And, "God willing, the world won't forget, so it will never happen again"....
- A touching moment in the story, after the daring rescue and escape, an elderly gent said "Baruch atoh adnoy, elohaynu melech ho-lom shee-osoh li nays bamokm hazeh. You are blessed. Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who performed a miracle for me in this place."
