09-30 - Gal 1 1-5 Luke 17 20-37

8TH ‘DAY’ CU Journal, New Testament In A Year

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 1:1-5

1 - From Paul, an apostle—not appointed by men nor any man, but appointed by Jesus Christ, and by God the Father, who raised him from the dead. 2 And from all the brothers who are with me,

     To the believers of Galatia {& all of us}

3 Grace to you! And peace from God our Father. And from the Lord Jesus, 4 who gave himself for our sins [hamartia - sin, failure, missing the mark] {imperfection/entropy} in order to deliver us from this present evil [ponΓ©ros - wicked, bad, malicious, hurtful] age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom is the glory forever. Amen.

            πŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 17:20-37

20 - Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come. He said to them, “The kingdom of God doesn’t come with observation” [paratαΈ—rΔ“sis - watching like a guard, with close scrutiny - only used in this verse, Lk.17:20]. {Doesn’t come with definite parameters? So not easily observed.. Is more like the wind..and tides?}

     21 “Nor do they say, ‘here it is! or there it is!’ for look! the kingdom of God is [entos - within, inside, among] you.” {When it is in us, then it is among us?}

     22 And to his disciples he said, “The days are coming when you will wish to see one of these days of the Son of Man, but you won’t. 23 And they’ll say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ But don’t listen to, nor follow them. 24 For in the same way as lightning flashes - and lights up the starry sky from one side of heaven to the other - so will the Son of Man be in that day.

     25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be then. 27 They were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day came when Noah went into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them.” {Dn.12:11-12 wiTh Lk.19:41,44 aNd 1Cor.3:16?}

     28 “And as it was in the days of Lot. They were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 Then, on the same day, when Lot came out of Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from above and destroyed them.” (Mt.13:30, earthly.)

     30 “And so will it be on the day, when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take his goods with him, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. [70 CE. And later(?) Dn.12:11-12, Rev.2:10]. 32 Remember Lot's wife.

     33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever lets loose his life will keep it. 34 I tell you - in that night - there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. 35 There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.” {Mt.13:30} 37 And they asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said, “Where there’s a dead body, there the vultures will feed.” {And where there’s a fallen away house, nation, etc?}

Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32.

09-14 - James 4 13-17 Luke 11 37-54

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ CU Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. James 4:13-17

13 You who say, “Today or tomorrow we’ll go to such and such a city, spend a year, trade, make a profit”— 14 yet you don’t know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? You’re a mist that appears for a short time and then fades away! 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting isn’t good!

     17 So whoever knows the right to do and fails to do it, for them it’s sin [hamartia - missing the mark]. {To know right, but choose differently is a missing of the mark🎯. We’re a work in progress, but need to be in the right progression? Otherwise, why bother!?}

            πŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 11:37-54

37 - While Jesus was still speaking, a Pharisee invited him to dine with him at his house, so he went in and reclined at table. 38 The Pharisee was surprised to see that he didn’t wash before the meal. (A Pharisee tradition of ritual washing.) 39 So Jesus said, “You Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and dish. Yet inside there’s greed and wickedness. 40 But didn’t he who made the outside, also make the inside? 41 If you give from within, then the outside is clean as well. 42 But woe to you Pharisees, you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but neglect justice and the love of God. But these you ought to do, without neglecting the rest.

     43 Woe to you Pharisees, you love the best seats in the meeting places and greetings in the marketplace. 44 Woe to you, you’re like unmarked graves, which people walk over, without knowing.”

     45 One of the scribes (lawyers) answered him, “Teacher, in saying these things you’re insulting us also.” 46 But he said, “Woe to you lawyers, you load people with burdens hard to bear, that you would never lift even a finger to bear.. 47 Woe to you, you build the tombs of the prophets, which your fathers killed. 48 So you are witnesses and you show yourself as consenting to the killings, and so you build their tombs. 49 As the wisdom of God has said, ‘I will send prophets and apostles. Some they’ll persecute and some they’ll kill.’ 50 And so the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, will be held against this generation {πŸ€” held against by whom..?} 51 Yes, I tell you, required of this generation, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.

    52 Woe to you scribes, you’ve taken away the key to knowledge. You don’t enter, and you block the way of those who are entering.”

     53 And as he was leaving, the scribes and Pharisees began to pressure him, provoking him to speak about many things, 54 for they were trying to catch him in his words.

09-05 - James 2 1-8 Mark 10 28-34

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ CU Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. James 2:1-8

1- My brethren (brothers and sisters) let there be no favoritism as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. 2 For if someone wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your meeting, and a poor person in old clothing also comes in, 3 and you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “Sit here in this preferred seat,” while you say to the poor person, “Stand over there,” or, “Sit on the floor,” 4 have you not then made division and distinctions among yourselves and are judges with evil intent?

     5 Listen, my much loved ones, hasn’t God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith? And heirs to the kingdom he has promised to those who love him?

     6 But you dishonor the poor one. And isn’t it the rich who oppress you, and drag you into court? 7 And who insult the honorable name by which we are called?

     8 If you really fulfill the Royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor [plΓ©sion - any other person] as yourself” - then, you are doing well.

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Mark 10:28-34

28 - Peter said to Jesus, “We’ve left everything to follow you!” 29 Jesus told him, “I tell you, truly, there’s no one who has left house or brothers, or sisters or mother, or father or children, or lands, for my sake and the gospel’s sake, 30 who won’t receive a hundredfold now in this age, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and lands, but with persecutions [diΓ³gmos]. And in the age to come the enduring life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and many last, will be first.”

     32 They were on the road to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead, at a fast pace. And so those who were following were afraid. And once again he told the twelve what was going to happen.

     33 “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the leaders, the chief priests and scribes, and they’ll have him condemned to death and delivered over to the Gentiles (the nations, here Rome). 34 And they will mock him, spit on him, flog him and kill him. But after three days he will rise.”

07-16 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:23-29  Mark 2:13-22

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:23-29

23 - Hold fast and keep ahold of the hope [elpis - expectation] you have affirmed [homología - from homoú - the same, together and légō - speak to a conclusion, lay to rest] {be confident!} without wavering, for he who has made {and notarized} the promise is faithful.

     24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we willfully and deliberately practice transgression, after taking to ourselves the knowledge of the Truth, there’s no new sacrifice for sins, 27 and we’re left with a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. {Earthly. Even the three mentions of lake of fire are at fiery events. Rev.16:14-15-16 versus Mt.25:1-13; MT.13:30.}

      28 Any Hebrew who set aside the law of Moses perishes without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse result [timΓ³ria - punishment, penalty] do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God! And has profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace!? {😳 Yet “His mercy endures forever”! Jesus said, “All in the tombs/graves will hear his voice and will rise. Some into Life” (into serving called reigning during Jesus’ long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first too brief one) “and some into judgment“ which elsewhere he calls an aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction - surely(?) the GWT “judgment”/discernment/review of history and closure for all ‘Day’, Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.}

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Mark 2:13-22

13 - Jesus went out again beside the sea, and all the people were coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi [Matthew] the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. (Matthew was a Jewish/Hebrew collecting taxes for hated Rome! Such tax collector’s were especially despised.)

     15 And as he reclined at table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

     17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are not well. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Hamartia - “missing the mark” of? perfection. “There are none righteous, not one” Romans 3:10. Some may think they are righteous, perfect, or well enough. But! God is Life (surely?) and he “is perfect”. So we can see how this imperfection is entropy? This slow gehenna fading away, which “does not quit” but concludes in the exact opposite of Life. So - 1Tim.4:10 - “God is savior of all” having “built in the remedy from the foundation/beginning”.}

     18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And some came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 19 And Jesus said, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they won’t fast. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they’ll fast. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the wine will burst the skin. The wine is lost, and the skin is ruined. But new wine is for new wineskins.” {And new wineskins are needed for the new wine.}

07-15 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:18-22  Luke 5:27-39 and ACTS 5:17-42 separately

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:18-22

18 - Where there is forgiveness [aphesis - pardon, release, remission] there is no more [ouketi - no more, no longer] offering for sin. 19 TheReFoR, brothers and sisters - since we hAve confidence {being pardoned, declared innocent/righteous} - to enter the most holy place {God’s Presence} by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way he opened for us through the curtain [through the curtain and veil of the temple, to Father’s Spirit and Presence] that is, through Jesus’ bodily life and death, 21 aNd, since we have a great high priest over the house of God - let us draw near, with a genuine heart in full confidence and faith. For our hearts have been sprinkled clean from a bad [poneros - evil, wicked, malicious, bad] conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. {Sprinkled and washed like priests’ cleansing of self and others, a shadow, reflection, replica of the real, which is Christ, once for all. πŸ€” Such is the human condition - it was portrayed over and over, every year, week and day (the sacrifices provided food for the priests, etc. And humanity allowed to be carnivore (during and) after the flood to avoid being prey?} But when it happened, they didn’t recognize it. Few of the ‘experts’ understood and perceived, even with the miracles. Prophecy is a miracle too.. Through the prophets He told Israel and other nations over and over what a runaway train heading to abyss/war/fiery judgments they were on. And ultimately it iS God’s judgments. For it was He who created a cause and effect universe (as opposed to ant farm? Immunity versus ant farm?).. The first lake of fire mention is at armageddon. Last Seal 6 event(s). The seals are described at the very beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects, first to last. Which seems to have hidden what they are and most of the vision!]

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Luke 5:27-39

27 - Later on as he was walking, Jesus saw a tax collector named Levi [Matthew] sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, “Come and follow me.” 28 And leaving the booth, Levi followed. (Tax collectors were very disliked in Israel, and viewed as traitors, because the were working as tax collector’s for occupying Rome.)

     29 And later, at his house, he gave a great feast for him. And there was a large company of tax collectors and others reclining at table with them. 30 And the Pharisees and scribes complained to Jesus’ disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

     31 But Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, only the unwell.” {Which is all of us!} 32 “I’ve not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

      33 And they said, “The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do our disciples, but yours both eat and drink!”

     34 Jesus said, “Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom’s with them?” {During celebration/feast.} 35 “Days will come when the bridegroom is taken away. They will fast in those days.”

     36 And so he told a parable, “No one patches an old garment with a patch made of new cloth. If they do, the piece from the new won’t match the old, and the tear will be made worse.

     37 And no one puts new wine into an old wineskin. If they do, the new wine will burst the skin and be spilled, and the skin will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into a new wineskin. 39 But no one after drinking old wine desires the new, for they say, ‘The old is good” {enough?} [ChrΓ©stos - kind, good, benevolent, useful.] {Even in this imperfection/entropy/unavoidable contrast, there is a ton of good life, and blessings of life. We shouldn’t believe the negative, angry voices and trends, they are gathering to armageddon.. large or small, individual or collective. The three frog/sLow boil, voices of Rev.16: the voice of the dragon/accuser/rage/hate; the voice of the beast(s)/leading to a many headed geopolitical entity/institution ‘of peace’; and the voice of the world’s false prophet, whose “strong delusion” of “seating man in the temple as god”/highest power, has caused Western Civilization, once called Christendom, to “fall away” (in preparation) Rev.12:15. (The chapter is the middle of 3 tellings of the vision, vs.17 with Mt.23:39.) As Rev.16:14-15-16 versus, Mt.25:1-13!

07-14 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:14-17  Luke 5:17-26

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:14-17

14 - For now, by one, single offering, he has perfected for all time, those who are being sanctified. {Decontaminated of imperfection/entropy, completed later.} {God is Life, and “is perfect” but no option to stray in Eden would be an Ant Farm! So now this imperfection/entropy which “doesn’t quit” so Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10.}

     15 And the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} also bears witness, for after saying, 16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days” declares the LORD, “I will put my laws in their hearts. And will write them on their minds.” (Rev.7:9,4; 14:4, truth virgins?) 17 Then he adds, “I will no more be mindful of their sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and their lawless deeds.” {As Perfection.. purity, unavoidably consumes impurity. “Our God is a consuming fire” Heb.12:29. And iS Life, and “perfect” ..So?}

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Luke 5:17-26

17 - One day when he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there {the ‘experts’, authorities, basically political not spiritual/devoted} who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the LORD was with Jesus to heal. 18 And some men brought a man on a bed who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus. 19 But finding no way to bring him in, because of the size and press of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man! Your sins are forgiven you!” 21 And the scribes and Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

     22 Jesus perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? or, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But so you know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” - he said to the man who was paralyzed - “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 25 And immediately he rose up before them, picked up what he had been lying upon, and went home glorifying God. 26 Amazement seized the crowd, and filled with awe, they glorified God, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today!”

     {This is not a contradiction of yesterday from Mark 2. It was a crowd, I’m sure they said more than one thing. All so called contradictions in the bible are easily explained. Eye witness accounts always differ in details. Genealogies likely came from human records, so discrepancies are likely. “Four corners of the Earth” means north, south, east, west. And fyi, it was a big bang into the universe as is, then it was put in motion.. not a steady state explosion still going on for billions of years.}
