08-14 - 1John 3 3-9 Mark 6 30-45

verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(8TH ‘DAY’ Studies)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 3:3-9

3 - Everyone who is hoping [elpis - expects, hopes] in him purifies their self as he is pure [hagnos - free of contamination].

     4 Anyone who makes a practice of doing wrong is practicing lawlessness. For sin [hamartia - missing the mark, doing wrong] is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away all missing the mark {and lawlessness}. And in him there is no sin/missing the mark/imperfection. 6 No one who abides in him, keeps doing wrong, or they have not seen him nor known him. (Which equates to “I never knew you”?)

     7 Little children, don’t let anyone mislead you. Whoever practices doing right is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil [diabolos - in secular Greek means "backbiter," i.e. an accuser (slanderer) di谩bolos is literally someone who "casts through," i.e. making charges that bring down (destroy) from diaball贸 - to bring charges with hostile intent] for the devil has been doing wrong from the beginning. {Of creation. God’s patience is shown by his waiting for the first bound to occur rebel thought to not only occur, but to ripen into outright sedition. So “all in heaven and earth” (man and angel) would take this unavoidable journey/lesson all together at once.}

     It’s for this reason the Son

of God appeared and was revealed, to destroy

[lu贸 - loose, release, dissolve] the works [茅rgon - work, deed (action) that carries out and completes the intention and purpose] of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning. God's seed abides in them and they cannot keep on sinning, because they have been born of God.

            馃寵 P.M. Mark 6:30-45

30 - After being sent out, the apostles [apostolos - sent ones] returned and told Jesus all they had done and taught. 31 And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to be alone and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no opportunity even to eat. 32 So they went in the boat to a place alone. 33 But many who were there from all the towns, saw them going and ran ahead on foot and got there before them. {Now that’s enthusiasm, I’m totaLLy convinced, his so brief first advent is a small replica of his long second advent!}

     34 When they reached shore, there was a great crowd, and Jesus had compassion, because they were like sheep with no shepherd. And so he taught them many things.

     35 When it grew late, his disciples came and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is late. 36 Should we send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages to find food?” 37 But he answered, “You feed them.” So they said, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread?” 38 And he said, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And so they did, and they came back and said, “Five, and two fish.”

     39 Then he told all sit down in groups on the grass. 40 So they sat down in groups, by hundreds and fifties. 41 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, said a blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to hand out to the people. And he divided also the two fish among them all.

     42 And they were all satisfied. {Ultimately all of us, with what he teaches us and feeds us. The sheep of his pasture.} 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of leftover pieces of bread and fish. 44 And those who ate the loaves were about five thousand.

     45 Then he had his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he stayed and sent the people away to their homes.

08-06 - From 1Jn-1 Mk-5

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

1John 1:5-10  Mark 5:1-20

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 1:5-10

5 - This is the message we’ve heard from him and that we proclaim to you - that God is light, and in him is no darkness. No darkness at all.

     6 If we say we have friendship with him while we walk in darkness, we’re deceiving our self and others, and not living the truth. 7 But if we walk in the Light, as he’s in the Light, we have friendship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us {releases} [kathariz贸 - root of catharsis] from all sin [hamartia - missing the mark].

     8 If we say we have no sin {imperfection, falling short, having made mistakes, bad choices, etc} we deceive ourselves, and the truth isn’t in us. 9 If we confess our sins {agree we’re imperfect/miss the mark of perfection} he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us [kathariz贸] from all unrighteousness {all un-rightness! Which is entropy that “doesn’t quit”. So this is a rescue.}. 10 If we say we’ve never fallen short, we make him a liar, and his word {message, truth, logos-logic, reasoning} isn’t in us.

            馃寵 P.M. MARK 5:1-20

1 - When they came to the other side of the sea of Galilee, to the country of the Gerasenes, 2 Jesus stepped out of the boat, and immediately, a man came out from among the tombs and met him. 3 He had an unclean spirit and lived there among the tombs. No one could keep him bound, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been shackled and chained, but he broke the chains apart, and tore the shackles in pieces. There was no one strong enough to subdue him. 5 And night and day he wandered among the tombs and among the hills, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

     6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell down before him. 7 And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me?! Jesus, Son of the Most High God! I beg you by God, don’t torment me!” 8 For Jesus was saying to him, “Come out of the man! You unclean spirit!” 9 And he asked him, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion! For we are many!” 10 Then he begged him not to send them out of the country. 11 On the nearby hillside, a large herd of pigs was feeding, 12 and they begged him, “Send us to the pigs, and let us enter them.”

     13 So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came rushing out and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned.

     14 The herdsmen ran and told what had happened to the people in the city and the surrounding countryside. And people came to see. 15 And when they came to Jesus and saw the demon possessed man who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed, and in his right mind, they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it repeated to them what had occurred to the man and to the pigs.

     17 Then because they were afraid, the people asked Jesus to go away and leave the region. 18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons asked him if he might go with him. 19 But Jesus said, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you. And how he has had kindness upon you.” 20 And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis, the “land of the ten cities” how much Jesus had done for him. And they all marveled.

     [Mark wrote unclean spirit - “pneuma akathartos“  pneuma - wind, spirit, and akathartos, which is “a” without kathartos, root of catharsis - in verses 3 and 8. But demon possessed - “daimonizomai” in vs.18.

     Luke called the man demon possessed - “ech贸 daimonion” Lk.8:27. And having many demons/daimonion, vs.30.] {From Rev.12:3,4,9 - “..a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven (“the stars are angels” Rev.1:20) and cast them to the earth ..the great dragon.. that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world“.

     Rev.13:1, the beast with seven heads and ten horns is his world empires used against the faith “five are fallen, one is (Roman Empire at the time) and one is to come” (after Western Civilization having blocked it is fully overcome) “but it will only remain for a little while - Dan.7:27 and 12:11-12 with Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16. A math riddle.

   Revelation chapter 12 is the 2nd of 3 tellings of the revelation vision. Vs.17 with Mt.23:39. Posting a Rev.12 study soon. These are my own studies.}

07-29 - From Heb-12 Mk-3

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 12:11-14  Mark 3:20-35 and ACTS 7:1-16 separately

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 12:11-14

11 - Correction seems painful and unpleasant when it’s happening, but its training yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. 12 Therefore lift the drooping hands! Strengthen the weak knees! 13 And make straight paths for your feet! So that what’s lame won’t quit all together, but will, instead, be healed.

     14 Strive for peace with all, and strive for holiness [hagiasm贸s - noun derived from h谩gios - holy, sanctification - the process of advancing in holiness, being progressively transformed by the Lord into His likeness and similarity of nature] without which no one perceives the LORD.

            馃寵 P.M. Mark 3:20-35

20 - Then Jesus went home where they were staying, his disciples with him, but again a large crowd gathered, so many so, that they couldn’t even eat. 21 And when his family heard of it, they set out to take hold of him and take him with them, for they said to one another, “He is beside himself!”

     22 Meanwhile, the scribes who came down from Jerusalem had been saying, “He’s possessed by Beelzebul! It’s by the prince of demons that he casts out demons!”

     23 So he called them over and said to them, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, won’t that kingdom fall? 25 And if a house is divided against itself, it can’t remain intact and endure. {Vs.27}

     26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, well then his kingdom is coming to an end.” {As will occur at Armageddon battle? A falling out? Isaiah24:20/Rev.20:4, Is.35:6-7!}

     27 “No one can enter a strong man's house and carry away his goods, unless they first bind him. {Individual and collective.} Then they can plunder the house.

     28 Truly, I tell you, all sins are forgiven the sons and daughters of man [anthropoi] and whatever blasphemies (insults) they may utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit(/Presence) of God has not forgiveness to the age [aion] but is guilty of an aionios {particular to the age} sin”— 30 for they were claiming, “He has an unclean spirit.” {馃槷馃槼 They’re locked into their blasphemy, which is hatred. (Spiritual sedition that reaches violence and murder.)}

     31 And his mother and his brothers arrived, and were standing outside the crowd, and sent word for him. 32 So the ones sitting around him said, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, looking for you.” 33 And he answered, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” 34 And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here.. are my mother and my brothers! 35 For whoever does the will of God, is my brother, my sister and my mother.” {He will gather all, Jn.12:32, some now, some later, Mt.25:1-13 versus Rev.16:14-16 -> Rev.20:11-13 -> Rev.21:5, word is “pas” - “all, every, the whole”. Meaning Jn.5:28-29 w/ Mt.25:46, phrase is “aionion kolasis” (eonian korrection, age of correction) Rev.20:11 w/ Leviticus 23 as an outline of Jesus’ two advents -> Rev.21:5, pas/all.}

07-14 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

Hebrews 10:14-17  Luke 5:17-26

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:14-17

14 - For now, by one, single offering, he has perfected for all time, those who are being sanctified. {Decontaminated of imperfection/entropy, completed later.} {God is Life, and “is perfect” but no option to stray in Eden would be an Ant Farm! So now this imperfection/entropy which “doesn’t quit” so Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10.}

     15 And the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God} also bears witness, for after saying, 16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days” declares the LORD, “I will put my laws in their hearts. And will write them on their minds.” (Rev.7:9,4; 14:4, truth virgins?) 17 Then he adds, “I will no more be mindful of their sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and their lawless deeds.” {As Perfection.. purity, unavoidably consumes impurity. “Our God is a consuming fire” Heb.12:29. And iS Life, and “perfect” ..So?}

            馃寵 P.M. Luke 5:17-26

17 - One day when he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there {the ‘experts’, authorities, basically political not spiritual/devoted} who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the LORD was with Jesus to heal. 18 And some men brought a man on a bed who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus. 19 But finding no way to bring him in, because of the size and press of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man! Your sins are forgiven you!” 21 And the scribes and Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

     22 Jesus perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? or, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But so you know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” - he said to the man who was paralyzed - “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 25 And immediately he rose up before them, picked up what he had been lying upon, and went home glorifying God. 26 Amazement seized the crowd, and filled with awe, they glorified God, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today!”

     {This is not a contradiction of yesterday from Mark 2. It was a crowd, I’m sure they said more than one thing. All so called contradictions in the bible are easily explained. Eye witness accounts always differ in details. Genealogies likely came from human records, so discrepancies are likely. “Four corners of the Earth” means north, south, east, west. And fyi, it was a big bang into the universe as is, then it was put in motion.. not a steady state explosion still going on for billions of years.}

07-12 - From Heb-10 Lk-5

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:1-7  Luke 5:12-16

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:1-7

1 - For since the law (system) is but a shadow and example of the true reality of the good {system} that was to come, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.

     2 Otherwise, they would have ceased being offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins. [Of hamartia - missing the mark.] 3 But in the old sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year! 4 For it’s impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sin [missing the mark, imperfection, being flawed/imperfect, which is opposite of God, who is Life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48. Imperfect cannot make itself perfect. Entropy and corruption only go one way. BUT! An ant farm is no paradise, so this ‘quick’ one & done unavoidable yet all important contrast.]

     5 Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have NOT desired, but a body you have prepared for me. 6 In burnt offerings and sin offerings you take no pleasure. 7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I’ve come to do your will, O God, as it’s written of me in the scroll of the book.’” {I’m convinced what needs to be appeased is the guilty human conscience and tricky psyche. And it has to be strong enough for even the worst of the worst actors of humanity and history. Our Father God “is love” (1Jn.4:8) not the angry ‘god’ (“of this world”).

            馃寵 P.M. Luke 5:12-16

12 - And while he was in one of the towns, there came a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” 13 And Jesus reached out his hand and touching him, said, “I will, be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.

     14 And he told him not to tell anyone, but to go and show himself to the priest, and make an offering, as Moses commanded for his cleansing, as a proof to them.

     15 But now more than ever the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But he would often withdraw to the lonely places and pray. {And the people would find him, and he healed all that came.}

06-18 - From Heb-3 Lk-1

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 3:7-11  Luke 1:26-38

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 3:12-19

12 - Take care, brothers and sisters that no one ave an evil [pon茅ros - evil, wicked, bad, malicious, harmful] unbelieving heart, which can lead you to falling away from the living God. 13 Instead encourage and exhort one another every day, as long as it’s called “today,” that none may be hardened by the misleading trickiness of sin.

     {And imperfection itself, for the word is “hamartia” - “missing the mark” of Life(!) because God is Life and also “is perfect” so imperfect is entropy, a process that “doesn’t quit”. “GOD has consigned all to disobedience” Ro.11:32, altogether at once. A ‘quick’ one and done, because an ant farm is no paradise?} [Hamart铆a - derived from A "not" and m茅ros - part, share of – so properly, no-share, no part of, loss, forfeiture, because not hitting the target. A target we cannot possibly attain to on our own. And we are all in the same boat.]

     14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed, we hold our original confidence, firm to the end [telos - end, purpose, goal, completion, fulfillment; from tel - reaching the “end-aim”].

     15 As it’s said, “Today! - If you hear his voice, don’t harden your heart as in the rebellion.”

     16 For who were those who heard, and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt, led by Moses? 17 And with whom was he grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned and fell in the wilderness? 18 And to who moreover did he swear [omnu贸 - to swear, take an oath] (they) would not enter his rest, if not to those who refused him? [Apeith茅艒 – disobeyed, literally, refuse to be persuaded (by the Lord), not allow oneself to be persuaded, to not comply with, withhold belief.]

     19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of disbelief. [But! Jn.12:32, because 1Tim.4:10. Rev.20 is told like describing crests of waves and not much of the in between.]

            馃寵 P.M. Luke 1:39-45

39 - In those days Mary went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah. 40 And she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

     4 When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby in her womb leaped! And she was filled with the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God}. 42 And she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women! And blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 Why is this granted to me? That the mother of my Lord should come here! 44 For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy! 45 Blessed is she who believed there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the LORD!”

02-03 - Ro-6 Mt-11

馃棟️s New Testament & Bible prophecy study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 6:17-23  Matthew 11:11-19

            ☀️ Romans 6:17-23

17 - But thanks be to God! That you/we who were once in captivity to sin [hamartia - missing the mark] and were its slave, have become obedient, from the heart, to the teaching we’ve been entrusted with. 18 And having been set free, we are now ruled by righteousness. [Dikaios媒n膿 - righteousness, justice, equity, rightness] {of character; justice and equity in society and system, begins with character.}

     19 I (Paul) am speaking in human terms, because of our natural limitations. Once we presented ourselves as slaves to impurity {not-rightness} [akathars铆a - from the greek - A - not, and - kathar贸s - state of clean because unmixed, pure, not contaminated; katharis, is the root of cathartic]. And we were in captivity to lawlessness, which led to more lawlessness.

     But now, present yourselves as bonded to righteousness, which leads to sanctification [hagiasmos - “the process of advancing in holiness, used of the believer being progressively transformed into the Lord’s likeness of nature; consecration, purification, made sacred].

     20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 But what fruit {cause and effect} were you getting from it? With the end of those things being death. 22 But now that you have been set free from sin {and guilt or shame} and are united with God and belong to him, the fruit is sanctification and the result is enduring life. {God is Life and “is perfect” so imperfect is entropy which “does not quit”, a slow gehenna that “is not put out”.} 23 For the wages {result} of sin [hamartia - missing the mark] is death. But the free gift of God is enduring life - in - Christ Jesus, our Lord. {He is “the head” of the body of humanity. Especially of believers, and shall be of all humanity. Isaiah 14:27 - “For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it?”}

            馃寵 Matthew 11:11-19

“Truly, I tell you” Jesus continued, “among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 From the days of John until now the kingdom of heaven is being boldly received by the “eager in pursuit” [biast茅s]. 13 For the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. 14 And if you’re willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come.” {The baptist/baptizer who said the axe is ready to fall.. aNd people were eager for God’s KINGDOM/rule.} 15 “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.

     16 But to what shall I compare this generation? It’s like children sitting in the marketplace, calling out to their playmates, 17 ‘We played the flute for you, but you didn’t dance. We sang a dirge, but you didn’t mourn.’ 18 For John comes neither eating or drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man comes eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified of all its works.” [Its - autos - he, she, it, they, them, himself, herself, itself, themselves, same.] {Wisdom shall be proven to be fully just. And fully perfect.}
