07-13 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:8-13  Mark 2:1-12

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:8-13

8 - When he (the Son) said, “You (LORD) have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings, nor in burnt offerings and sin offerings” - these being offered according to the law, 9 he then added, “Behold, I’ve come to do your will.”

     And by this - he does away with the first (covenant, program, contract, legal document and testament, guarantee, promise) -> in order to establish the second. {Which the first was a shadow and copy of. A sort of replica of the true thing - and way - that was coming. Which God used Paul and others to reveal in their proclaiming of the good news, which Jesus had said to publish to all nations. Before Christ no one could understand what the old sacrifices were portraying and prophesying. That’s what Paul meant, not that he had been given a different gospel for the nations/gentiles/nonHebrews, but that by God’s grace and doing, he had been given the understanding (revelation) of what those old sacrifices were proclaiming. Which sacrifice was not to “please God”! WhaT do the sacrifices, or more exact, what does the literal and graphic sacrifice of Jesus, “firstborn of God” actually appease? WhaT needs to be appeased?? Not Satan, gone rogue angel/“messenger” as he’s certainly not an almost equal to God supreme being. Logic answers? Root word logos.}

     10 And by that will {of God, and testament} we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. {And so reconciled to Life/God, free from the death penalty, which straying/entropy/imperfection results in. And free from guilt.}

    11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sin [hamartia - missing the mark] {this imPerfection/entropy, the fire and worm that “doesn’t quit”, imperfect and thus missing the mark, cannot make itself perfect and on target, but God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, but an ant farm is no paradise}.

     12,13 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice/full payment for sin, he then sat down at the right hand of God - waiting - from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. {After things have run course. Otherwise? Why bother?}

            🌙 P.M. Mark 2:1-12

1 - Later, Jesus went home to Capernaum, and after a few days, word got out that he was there. 2 And so many came and were gathering together to hear him. It got to the point of being so crowded outside and about the door, that anyone wanting to come near, couldn’t because of the press of people.

     3 And then along came four men carrying a paralyzed man on a pallet bed. 4 And when they couldn’t get near Jesus because of the crowd, they climbed up with him to the roof, removed part of it above Jesus, and when there was a big enough opening, they let down the man on the pallet.

     5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Son! Your sins are forgiven!” 6 Now some of the scribes {‘experts’} were sitting there thinking, 7 “Why does this man speak like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?!”

     8 But Jesus, perceiving this, said to them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 9 What’s easier? To say to the paralized, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? Or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But so you may know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” he said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, rise up, take up your bed, and go home.” 12 And the man got up, picked up his bed and went out as they all were watching.

     And all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We’ve never seen anything like this before!”

06-18 - From Heb-3 Lk-1

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 3:7-11  Luke 1:26-38

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 3:12-19

12 - Take care, brothers and sisters that no one ave an evil [ponéros - evil, wicked, bad, malicious, harmful] unbelieving heart, which can lead you to falling away from the living God. 13 Instead encourage and exhort one another every day, as long as it’s called “today,” that none may be hardened by the misleading trickiness of sin.

     {And imperfection itself, for the word is “hamartia” - “missing the mark” of Life(!) because God is Life and also “is perfect” so imperfect is entropy, a process that “doesn’t quit”. “GOD has consigned all to disobedience” Ro.11:32, altogether at once. A ‘quick’ one and done, because an ant farm is no paradise?} [Hamartía - derived from A "not" and méros - part, share of – so properly, no-share, no part of, loss, forfeiture, because not hitting the target. A target we cannot possibly attain to on our own. And we are all in the same boat.]

     14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed, we hold our original confidence, firm to the end [telos - end, purpose, goal, completion, fulfillment; from tel - reaching the “end-aim”].

     15 As it’s said, “Today! - If you hear his voice, don’t harden your heart as in the rebellion.”

     16 For who were those who heard, and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt, led by Moses? 17 And with whom was he grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned and fell in the wilderness? 18 And to who moreover did he swear [omnuó - to swear, take an oath] (they) would not enter his rest, if not to those who refused him? [Apeithéō – disobeyed, literally, refuse to be persuaded (by the Lord), not allow oneself to be persuaded, to not comply with, withhold belief.]

     19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of disbelief. [But! Jn.12:32, because 1Tim.4:10. Rev.20 is told like describing crests of waves and not much of the in between.]

            🌙 P.M. Luke 1:39-45

39 - In those days Mary went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah. 40 And she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

     4 When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby in her womb leaped! And she was filled with the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God}. 42 And she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women! And blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 Why is this granted to me? That the mother of my Lord should come here! 44 For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy! 45 Blessed is she who believed there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the LORD!”

06-10 - From Heb-1 Jn-20

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 1:10-14  John 20:19-29

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 1:10-14

10 - And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning. The heavens are the work of your hands. 11 They will perish, but you remain. They will wear out like old clothing. 12 Like a robe you will roll them up, and like a garment they will be changed! But you are the same, and your time has no end.”

     13 To which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? {Not Gabriel, not Michael.}14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth for the sake of those who are inheriting salvation? [Klēronoméō - from klēronómos - “a specific allotment of inheritance, apportioned by casting lots”. ]

            🌙 P.M. John 20:19-29

19 - Towards evening of that same day (of the resurrection, and) first day of the week, the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the leaders.

     But Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 20 And as he said it, he showed them his hands and his side. And the disciples rejoiced when they saw it.

     21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you” and said, “as the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” 22 And then he blew breath and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive any, they’re forgiven, if you withhold forgiveness, it’s withheld.”

     24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, wasn’t with them. 25 So later the other disciples told him, “We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said, “Unless I see in his hands, the mark of the nails, and touch the wounds in his hands and side, I’ll never believe.”

     26 After eight days, his disciples were inside again, and this time Thomas was with them. And although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

     27 Then he said to Thomas, “See my wounds, here in my hands, and my side. Touch them and don’t doubt, but believe.”

     28 Thomas answered, “My Lord and my God!”  {Jesus doesn’t contradict Thomas. Does this mean what God has created in Jesus (“firstborn of all creation”) is an almost total replication of himself? Almost because Jesus said “the Father is greater than I”. Yet they are so close, both administer God’s Spirit/Presence ..the same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity.}

     29 Jesus said, “Have you believed because you’ve seen? Blessed are those who’ve not seen, and yet believe.”

..These studies are A.M. and P.M. together for pages, when done for an entire year, of a self published book. Marie Glen at lulu dot com, if I can figure out their updates since self publishing a couple of short books a few years back. And if everything’s paraphrased enough for copyright issues. In case you were wondering, lol.

     They’re the study I do (this year together) each morning based on a ‘haphazard’ reading schedule I drew up, not satisfied with any available ones I had. This is the 2nd(?) year of posting them.. This year putting the A.M. and P.M. together, hopefully for the book. Acts and Revelation through the year will be their own books. Just for study, not profit. Jesus asked Peter “do you love me? ..Feed my sheep.” So although the books are for my own use, I do have my prayers! I’ve learned SO (so) much! Wondrous, wondrous things!! And the epitome of Logic. But expressed so often, in riddles.. Hidden treasure, once seen/understood, not forgotten..

05-08 - 1Pet-1 Jn-12

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • 1Peter 1:8-12  John 12:37-50 and, separately, a quick summary of Paul’s travels. The new annual study through Acts begins 3rd week in May (around Pentecost).

            ☀️ A.M. 1Peter 1:8-12

8 - Though you’ve never seen him, you love him. Though you don’t see him, you believe [pisteúō - from pístis and peíthō - (are) persuaded, faith, trust, believe] in him, and rejoice with a joy inexpressible and filled with glory! 9 This is the fruit and result of your faith [pisteúō] the salvation of your soul.

     10 And concerning this salvation, the prophets of long ago, prophesied about the grace that is now yours! For which they diligently searched, 11 looking for what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating, when he predicted his sufferings and the subsequent glory. 12 It was revealed to them that they were prophesying not about their own time, but were prophesying things that have now happened to you, which happened because the good news was told to you by those who proclaimed it by the Holy Spirit {God’s Spirit/Presence} having been sent from heaven. Things into which angels long to look into.

            🌙 P.M. John 12:37-50

37 - Though Jesus had done so many signs before the people, they still didn’t believe [pisteuó - believe, have faith, trust, be persuaded].

     38 So the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled - “LORD, who has believed his report? And to whom was the arm of the LORD revealed?” 39 They couldn’t believe. For Isaiah had said (prophesied), 40 “HE has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.” 41 Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.

     42 Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they didn’t admit it, fearing they would be put out of {polite society} the synagogue, 43 for they esteemed the glory {and opinion} of man {and society of the day} more than the {opinion of and} glory that comes from God. {The real and final standard.}

     44 {John had heard him when} Jesus had cried out proclaiming, “Whoever believes in me! Believes not in me but in he who sent me!”

     {The Son, being the only straight out from God one, so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate thus “seal” humanity and creation.}

     45 “And whoever sees me, sees he who sent me. 46 For I came into the world as light - so whoever believes in me will not have to remain in darkness” {not understanding and knowing}. 47 “If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep them, I don’t judge them. For I didn’t come {and wasn’t sent} to judge the world, but to save the world.

     48 Whoever rejects me, and doesn’t receive my words has a judge. The word [truth, logos - “reasoning”/logic] that I have spoken will judge them in/during the last ‘day’. 49 For I have not been speaking on my own authority. The Father who sent me, has himself given me the words I say and speak. 50 And I know that his instruction is enduring [aionion] Life. So what I have said, is what the Father has told me to say.

     {In the last day” - IN, is en, a preposition – meaning, properly - in, inside of, within, figuratively - in the realm/sphere of. Translated - “during” - seven times. During the last day, it being the “8th” ‘day’ which follows what’s called “the” millennial, a Sabbath rest from enmity and the adversary.

    A main outline, the week plus one.. beginning from the biG bang into the universe that is, theN was set in motion.. no option to stray in Eden would be humanity as an ant farm, so things run their course for six millennial days, then a Sabbath millennium,  followed by an “8th day”. Otherwise when does the fieRy defeat of the adversary occur? AfteR gathering descendants of mortal survivors of the apocalypse to war once again. And, then the GWT judgment (the total discernment plus full closure for all) ‘day’ — veiled by Rev.20 being as though describing the crests of waves and not much of the in between. ..Father loves a good riddle? An outline within the first outline of - the week plus one - is the holy days of Lev.23, Spring and Fall, prophesying 1st and 2nd advents. Surely!?}

04-05 - Eph-6 Lk-17

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 6:10-18  Luke 17:1-10

         ☀️ Ephesians 6:10-18 𓂃✝︎𓂃

10 - Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the evil one. 12 For it’s not against flesh and blood that we wrestle, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly sphere.

     13 Therefore take up the whole covering armor of God, that you may be able to withstand and stand firm in the evil day, and having done all, remain standing. [“The power at work in us, and for us, is the same power that rose Jesus out of the grave” Ephesians 1:19-20. “Hold fast to what you have.” {Faith, knowing.} “Let no one take thy crown!” Rev.3:11]

     14 Stand therefore! Having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. 15 And as boots for your feet, put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. [“How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim {share} - the gospel of peace” Isaiah 52.7]

     16 In all circumstances take up the mighty covering shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.

     17 And take the helmet of salvation! And the sWord of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. And to that end, keep alert with all perseverance, praying for us all.

            🌙 Luke 17:1-10

1 - Jesus said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin/destructions, are sure to come. But woe to those through whom they come! 2 It would be better for them if a heavy millstone were hung around their neck and they be cast into the sea than that they should cause others to fall away, or a little one to stumble.

     3 So pay attention to yourself and the group. If your brother or sister falls into a sin, warn them. [Warn - epitimáō - earn to prevent.] And if they repent [metanoeo - think better and turn] forgive them.

     4 But also if they sin against you, as many times as seven times in a day, and then turn to you seven times, saying, ‘I’m sorry,’ you shall forgive.”

     5 The apostles said to the Lord {forgiving, free of wrath, etc. is the difference between disciple and apostle?} “Increase our faith!”

     And Jesus said, “If you had faith like a tiny grain of the mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” {Have you ever tried to weed out and be rid of an unwanted Mulberry tree?}

     7 “Will any one of you who has a worker plowing or keeping sheep say to them when they come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? 8 Will you not rather say to them, ‘Clean up, prepare supper for me, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank the servant? {Though they should, they seldom do.} 10 So with you! When you have done all that you are commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy [axreíos – properly, unneeded, lacks usefulness] servants, we have only done what was our duty/work/employment to do.’” {God is 100% unfettered Genius and capability, our serving is our benefit, not His! We are not “all that” nor is it “all about moi”. And talents, gifts, fruit is from His Spirit/Presence.. is his forming, blueprint, design and enabling. We are drawn, inspired and enabled to ask, seek, knock.. pursue.. ⛲️🕊️is his blueprint. “And the lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow” Isaiah 11:7. “Knowledge of the LORD will cover the Earth, like the waters cover the sea” Habakkuk 2:14.}

03-27 - Eph-4 Lk-11

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 4:1-10  Luke 11:1-4

            ☀️ Ephesians 4:1-10

1 - Therefore I (Paul) in shackles because of the faith of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you’ve been called. 2 With humility and gentleness, and patience and forbearance with one another, with love.

     3 Be sincere and eager to maintain the bond of peace, in the unity of God’s Spirit {his presence with}.

     4 For there is one body. One Spirit. {As there is one humanity with all its beautiful branches.} And we are all called to the one hope [elpís - from elpō - anticipation, a welcome expectation of what is sure and certain}. The hope {happy expectation} that belongs to the calling.

     5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. 7 But grace is given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. 8 That is why it says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive! And he gave gifts.”

     9 And in saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower part of the earth. {The grave, 2Pet.2:5 answers 1Pet.3:19, prison as locked into what was coming, Eccles.9:5,10.}

     10 And He is the, one, who then ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all. [Pas - every, all, the whole.]

            🌙 Luke 11:1-4

1 - Jesus was in a quiet place praying, and afterwards, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples to pray.”

     2 So he said, “When you pray, pray like this, ‘Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed [hagiazó - sacred, holy, set apart] is your name. Your kingdom come, and your will be done upon Earth, as it is in heaven. 3 Give us this day our daily bread, 4 and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And let us not be led into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’”

     {A 2025 note.. My Father in heaven, blessed and honored be your name.. Please let your kingdom come that it be upon earth as it is in heaven, saturated and full of your Spirit. Give me today all grace and spiritual bread I need.. And forgive my faults and flaws as I overlook other’s. And please don’t let me be led into any evil or temptation, or delusion! (2026)

   But keep me in your Presence. Keep us all in your Presence, Father, amen. …“yesterday I was in the grip of a foul spirit, today let me praise and give thinks..” ..What I call an inner bad, angry mood.}
