Hebrews 8:11-9:5 Luke 6:16-30
☀️ A.M. Hebrews 8:11-9:5
{When all is done and completed under the covenant works of God} 11 - “They shall not teach each one their neighbor and each one their brother or sister, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins [hamartia - missing the mark {imperfection which is entropy}] no more.”
13 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete, old and fading, is ready to vanish away.
9:1 - Now even the first covenant (of law and its tent was a “shadow” and replica of the spiritual, it) had regulations for worship and an earthly place of holiness. 2 For a tent was prepared, the first section, called the Holy Place, in which were the lamp-stand/light, the table, and the bread of the Presence on the table.
3 And behind the second curtain was a second section, which is called the Most Holy Place, 4 and in it is the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, Aaron's staff that budded, and the tablets of the (first, hamartia revealing) covenant. (If you walked in with the lamp-stand lit, this room would be very reflective!)
5 Above the ark were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. But of these things we cannot now speak in detail. {The cherubim, a likeness of the cherubim/seraphim, around the throne? And in this case “covering” the ark. Of which Satan was “covering angel of Eden” ..And other covering angels - of animals - joined the revolt? (So became predator.)
Yet all of course as God foresaw. And he waited patiently, for the first bound to occur rebel thought, to not only occur, but to mature into outright sedition before creating the universe, mankind and Eden - so all take this unavoidable journey all together at once}.
๐ P.M. Luke 6:12-30
12 - In those days Jesus went to the mountain to pray, and continued in prayer all night. 13 When day came, he called those disciples following him [mathรฉtรฉs - disciples, learners, pupils] and chose twelve, whom he named apostles [apostolos - messenger, delegate] - 14 Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; 15 Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot; 16 Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
17 And he came down and stood on a flat place with them, and with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, 18 who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And those troubled with oppressive spirits were cured. 19 And all the people sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.
20 And he looked out upon the crowd, and said to them, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! 23 Rejoice at those times, and leap for joy. For behold, your reward is great {stored} in heaven. And so was it done to the prophets.
24 But woe to you who are rich, for you are receiving your solace. 25 Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry. Woe to you who laugh {in supposed victory} now, for you shall mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you, when all people speak well of you. For so they did to the false prophets.
27 But I say to you who hear - Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who abuse you. 29 If someone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other as well. And from one who takes away your coat, give them your shirt as well. 30 Give to everyone who asks from you, and from one who takes away your goods, don’t demand them back.” {This has nothing to do with human government redistributing.. or even supplying! As once it supplies all, it owns all. Empire in lieu of (God’s) Kingdom doesn’t work out well for the people.}
