☀️ A.M. Hebrews 9:21-24
21 - And in the same way he sprinkled with blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship. {All purified, a solemn oath.} 22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there’s no forgiveness [aphesis - forgiveness, release, remission]. {And guilty conscience appeased.}
23 THUS - it was necessary for the copies (examples, likeness) of the heavenly things to be purified by these rites, but the heavenly things (real way) with a better sacrifice than these. 24 For Christ has entered, not into the most holy place made with hands - which are copies of the true most holy place - but into heaven itself, now to appear in the Presence of God on our behalf.
🌙 P.M. Luke 5:1-11
1 - On one occasion, Jesus was standing by the lake of Gennesaret (on the west shore of Galilee lake, in the land of Gennesaret). The large crowd around him was eager to hear the message of God, and was pressing in upon him. 2 He saw two boats by the lake, where the crew had left them to go and wash their nets. 3 So he got into one of the boats, and he asked Simon Peter to put it out a little from the land, for it was Simon’s boat. And then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all through the night and our nets are empty, for we caught nothing at all, however at your word, I’ll let down the nets.”
6 And when they had done so, they caught so many fish, their nets were breaking. 7 They signaled to their partners (James and John) in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, until they began to sink. 8 But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” 9 For he and all who were with him in the boat were astonished at the catch of fish, 10 and so were those of the other boat belonging to James and John, the sons of Zebedee.
Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t fear, from now on you will be catching men.” 11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all and followed him.
