ACTS 11 1-30

 Luke wrote “of the things fulfilled among us” paraphrased due to ©‘s [ ] ref  { } thots

    Book of the Acts of the First Believers

1 - The apostles and brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. 2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party (Hebrew believers) criticized him, saying, 3 “You went to the uncircumcised and ate with them!” {Israel was strictly separated from others, for one thing, in order to birth Messiah, the “savior of the world” into a comparatively prepared nation.}

    4 But Peter began to explain to them what had happened, 5 “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance [ekstasis - a displacement of the mind, state of ecstasy] when I saw a vision. There was something like a great sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners. It came down to me 6 and looking at it closely, I saw animals and beasts of prey, reptiles and birds of the air. 7 And I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter, kill and eat.’ 8 But I said, ‘By no means, LORD! For nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

     9 But the voice answered a second time from above saying, ‘Don’t call common, what God has polished(?).’ [Katharรญzล – make pure, removing all admixture, root of catharisis.] 10 And this happened, three times. And then it was all drawn up again into heaven.

     11 And look! At that very moment three men arrived at the house, who were sent to me from Caesarea. 12 And the Spirit told me to go with them. And to ask no questions and make no distinction. These six brothers as well, accompanied me, and we entered the man's house. 13 And he told us how he had seen the angel coming into his house and the angel said, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14 He will declare to you a message by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’” [This was the “good news for all” beginning to earnestly go out to the nations {right on schedule} called gentiles, all who are not hebrew.] 15 “And even as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God) fell upon them. Just as it had upon us at the beginning [Acts 2]. 16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17 So then, if God gave the same gift to them, as he gave to us - when we believed in the Lord Jesus - who was I that I should stand in God's way?” [A question for I.O? The Israel only doctrine.]

     18 When the brothers heard these things they fell silent, and they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also, God has granted repentance that leads to Life.”

     19 Now in those days, those who were scattered because of the persecution that had risen after Stephen’s stoning, had traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the message to no one except to Jews/Hebrews. 20 But there were some, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who upon coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists (Greeks) also, preaching the Lord Jesus. 21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

     22 The report of this came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, so they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

     23 When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he was happy, and exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose. 24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord. 25 So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul/Paul. 26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch.

     For a whole year they met with the church (the believers) and taught a great many people. And it was in Antioch that the followers [mathรฉtรฉs - learners, disciples, pupils] were first called Christians.

     27 It was at about this time, that prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the civilized world (and the famine took place in the days of Claudius). 29 So the disciples determined, every one according to his ability, to send relief to the believers living in Judea. 30 And they did so, sending it to the elders there by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.

07-13 - From Heb-10 Mk-2

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 10:8-13  Mark 2:1-12

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 10:8-13

8 - When he (the Son) said, “You (LORD) have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings, nor in burnt offerings and sin offerings” - these being offered according to the law, 9 he then added, “Behold, I’ve come to do your will.”

     And by this - he does away with the first (covenant, program, contract, legal document and testament, guarantee, promise) -> in order to establish the second. {Which the first was a shadow and copy of. A sort of replica of the true thing - and way - that was coming. Which God used Paul and others to reveal in their proclaiming of the good news, which Jesus had said to publish to all nations. Before Christ no one could understand what the old sacrifices were portraying and prophesying. That’s what Paul meant, not that he had been given a different gospel for the nations/gentiles/nonHebrews, but that by God’s grace and doing, he had been given the understanding (revelation) of what those old sacrifices were proclaiming. Which sacrifice was not to “please God”! WhaT do the sacrifices, or more exact, what does the literal and graphic sacrifice of Jesus, “firstborn of God” actually appease? WhaT needs to be appeased?? Not Satan, gone rogue angel/“messenger” as he’s certainly not an almost equal to God supreme being. Logic answers? Root word logos.}

     10 And by that will {of God, and testament} we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. {And so reconciled to Life/God, free from the death penalty, which straying/entropy/imperfection results in. And free from guilt.}

    11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sin [hamartia - missing the mark] {this imPerfection/entropy, the fire and worm that “doesn’t quit”, imperfect and thus missing the mark, cannot make itself perfect and on target, but God iS life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48, but an ant farm is no paradise}.

     12,13 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice/full payment for sin, he then sat down at the right hand of God - waiting - from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. {After things have run course. Otherwise? Why bother?}

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. Mark 2:1-12

1 - Later, Jesus went home to Capernaum, and after a few days, word got out that he was there. 2 And so many came and were gathering together to hear him. It got to the point of being so crowded outside and about the door, that anyone wanting to come near, couldn’t because of the press of people.

     3 And then along came four men carrying a paralyzed man on a pallet bed. 4 And when they couldn’t get near Jesus because of the crowd, they climbed up with him to the roof, removed part of it above Jesus, and when there was a big enough opening, they let down the man on the pallet.

     5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Son! Your sins are forgiven!” 6 Now some of the scribes {‘experts’} were sitting there thinking, 7 “Why does this man speak like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?!”

     8 But Jesus, perceiving this, said to them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 9 What’s easier? To say to the paralized, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? Or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But so you may know the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” he said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, rise up, take up your bed, and go home.” 12 And the man got up, picked up his bed and went out as they all were watching.

     And all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We’ve never seen anything like this before!”

04-01- Eph-5 Jn-11

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 5:9-16  John 11:38-54

            ☀️ Ephesians 5:9-16

9 - The fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true. 10 Try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead shine the {gentle} light of Truth on them. 12 It’s shameful even to speak of things that are done in secret. 13 But the light when shone, brings understanding. 14 And when something is understood, it becomes known.

     That’s why the scripture says, “Awake, O sleeper! Arise from the dead! And Christ will shine upon you!” {Golden wheat.. or still a weed in God’s garden? As we all were, and still are to a degree.. Until total overcoming at resurrection.. if in the first one. The second one has GWT Judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’ between the rising and when Father God says, “Behold, I make all new” Rev.21:5, Greek word “pas” - “all, every, the whole”.}

     15 So don’t be reckless and unwise in how you walk, but wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are quickly past.

     {Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:14-15-16, not an afterlife ‘hell’ and, or is Mt.25:1-13, notice the word “first”?}

            ๐ŸŒ™ John 11:38-54

38 - Then Jesus, deeply moved, came to the tomb, which was a cave. A stone lay against it, 39 so Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”

     Martha, the sister of Lazarus, the dead man, said, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.”

     40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?”

     41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus looking upward said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I know you always hear me. But I say this on account of the people standing here, that they may believe that you have sent me.”

     43 And then he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And Lazarus, who had died, came out. His hands and feet were bound with linen strips, and his face was wrapped in a head cloth. Jesus said, “Unbind him. Set him free.”

     45 Many of the Judeans therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen this, believed in him. 46 But some went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

     47 So the leaders, the chief priests and the Pharisees, gathered as a council {☠️} and said, “What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our seats and our nation.”

     49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said, “You know nothing! 50 Nor do you understand! It’s better one man die! Than the whole nation perish!” 51 He didn’t even say this of his own accord! But being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation. 52 And not for the nation [ethnos - people, nation] {Hebrews} only.

     {Separated to separate God Most High in our understanding, from ‘the gods’ of the nations that had developed over ancient centuries.}

     BUT aLso to gather [synagagฤ“] into one, the children of God {humanity} who are scattered abroad. {From Babel Tower.}

     53 And from that day on they made plans to have him executed. 54 So Jesus no longer walked openly among them. And he went to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed for a while with the disciples.

03-31 - Eph-5 Jn-11

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 5:1-8  John 11:28-37

            ☀️ Ephesians 5:1-8

1 - Therefore try to be like God {who iS Love} as beloved children. 2 And walk in love. As Christ loved us! He even gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. {Imagine dying, etc(!) if you didn’t have to. Would anything less dramatic be able to reach every heart? Be able to appease eveRy conscience? He said he “laid down” his life “willingly” Jn.10:18. Rescued us from imperfection, which is entropy and an abyss of potential, both collective and individual. Heck pre-flood was hands off and look how that turned out.}

     3 So sexual transgression, all impurity [a-kathartos - contamination] and greed [pleonexia - greed, covetousness] mustn’t even be named among you, as is proper among saints/believers.

     4 Avoid foolish talk and crude joking, as out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 You can be sure of this, that anyone who is sexually trangressing or impure, or who is greedy - which is idolatry - is not {presently in “the way” of} inheriting the kingdom of Christ and God.

     6 Don’t be deceived by empty words. It’s because of these things that comes the wrath of God {consequences} upon the children of disobedience.

     {I’m convinced, God’s wrath is ‘code’ for cause and effect. His “passion”/greek orge - passion, translated wrath, as opposed to what? Creation as just an ant farm? Creation as Total Ant Farm, versus Total ‘Herd’ Immunity? The dis-ease as part of the cure? An unavoidable, all important contrast, engineered as this ‘quick’ one and done..}

     7 So don’t become involved in such things. 8 for at one time you were without light [skotos - darkness, lacking light] but now you’re in the light of the LORD. {We should} walk in that light, as children oF light..

            ๐ŸŒ™ John 11:28-37

28 - After this, Martha went back into the house and called her sister Mary, saying privately, “The teacher is here and is calling for you.” 29 When Mary heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still where Martha had met him. 31 When the Judeans/Hebrews/Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary get up quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to weep.

     32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

     33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and those who had come with her weeping also, he was deeply moved and troubled in his spirit. 34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 And Jesus wept. 36 So they said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some said, “Couldn’t he who opened the eyes of the blind man, also have kept this man from dying?”

 • Romans 9:19-26  Matthew 13:18-30

           ☀️ Romans 9:19-26

19 - You might say to me (Paul) “Why does God then find fault? For who can resist his will!?” {Concerning those he doesn’t yeT call.} 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will the clay say to the potter, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right to his clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel as sacred and another as common (for daily use)? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath [orge - passion] {cause and effect/truth like gravity, isn’t made to be broken} and to make known his power, has endured with much patience, vessels of wrath going to ruin [apรณleia - ruin, loss, destruction] 23 in order to make clearly known the riches of his glory! The glory to be seen upon vessels of mercy, which he makes ready for revelation and the revealing of that glory {state}. 24 The glory to which he has called us, both Hebrews/Jews, and Gentiles. 25 As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and she [nations] who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”

     26 “Yes in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons and daughters of the living God.’”

            ๐ŸŒ™ Matthew 13:18-30

18 - Jesus continued, “Hear then the meaning of the parable of the sower, 19 When someone hears the good news of the kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in their heart. This is the seed that was sown along the pathway. 20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is when someone hears the message and receives it with joy. 21 Yet they have no root within theirself, and so they endure only a while, and when trouble or persecution arises on account of it” {the Kingdom versus man’s world; God’s creation versus mankind’s creation upon it} “they soon fall away.

     22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is when someone hears, but the cares of the world and the lure of worldly things and riches choke the message, and it becomes unfruitful.

     23 But the seed that falls on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. And they indeed bear fruit, and yield, sometimes a hundredfold, sometimes sixty, and sometimes thirtyfold.”

     24 Then he told them another parable, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing good seed in his field. 25 But! While his men were sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and then stole back away. 26 And later, when the wheat came up and was bearing grain, the weeds were there too. 27 And the servants of the master/mister of the house came and said, ‘Master! Wasn’t it good seed you sowed in your field! Why are there all these many weeds?’ 28 He answered, ‘An enemy has done this!’

     So the servants said, ‘Do you want us to go and gather out the weeds?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, for in taking out the weeds, you might also pull up some of the wheat. 30 Let them grow together until harvest. Then at harvest time, I’ll say to the reapers ‘Gather, first, the weeds in bundles’ {armies rev.16:14-15-16} ‘to be burned.’” {In a bonfire, we don’t burn garden weeds in a forever subterranean fiery pit. At this point is the first mention of a lake of fire.} “‘But gather the wheat into my barn.’” {Through the door of the ten bridesmaids parable, Mt.25:1-13. ACTS 16-20-40

 Luke wrote “of the things fulfilled among us” paraphrased [ ] ref { } thots

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

20 - And when they had brought Paul and Silas to the authorities, they said, “These men are Jews/Hebrews and they are disturbing our city! 21 They’re teaching customs that aren’t lawful for us as Romans!”

     22 The crowd joined in attacking them, so the magistrates tore their garments and gave orders to have them beaten with rods. 23 And when they had beat them with many blows, they threw them into prison and ordered the jailer to keep them securely locked up. 24 So the jailer put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

     25 At about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake. The foundations of the prison were shaken, all the doors were opened and everyone's bonds were loosened. {Praise can break chains.}

     27 When the jailer woke and saw the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. (That was the penalty.) 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” 29 And the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas. 30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?!”

     31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 And they spoke the word of the LORD to him and to all who were in the house. 33 And the jailer the same hour of the night, cleansed their wounds. And he and all his family were baptized. 34 Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he rejoiced along with his entire household to be believing in God.

     35 But then when it was day, the magistrates sent the police, saying, “Let those men go.” 36 And the jailer reported it to Paul, saying, “The leaders have sent to let you go. Therefore come out and go in peace.” 37 But Paul said, “They have beaten us publicly, men who were not condemned and who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison! And now do they throw us out secretly? No! Let them come themselves and let us out.”

     38 The officers reported this to the magistrates, who were afraid when they found out they were Roman citizens. 39 So they came and apologized and led them out and asked them to leave the city. 40 So they went out of the prison and went to Lydia’s house. And when they had seen the believers, and encouraged them, they departed.

๐Ÿ—️s New Testament & Bible prophecy study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 3:1-6  Matthew 6:22-34

            ☀️ Romans 3:1-6

1 - What advantage is there then to the Hebrew? {Believers are “grafted into Israel” as ultimately, “a Hebrew is one inwardly”. Humanity will be “Israel” when all is said and totally done.} Or of what value is circumcision? {A requirement for all men who follow the Hebrew Laws of Moses. It represents the carnal, self ‘first and foremost’ nature, as removed/circumcised from the heart. It was done on a child’s “8th day” - this whole program/“administration of ages” lasts eight millennia. ..It was a big bang into the universe as is, but like a clock not running, then, set in motion.}

     2 Why there is much advantage and benefit in every way! To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God! {The adversary, first gone rogue one seethes with hatred..} 3 What if some were unfaithful? {As in all ethnicities and groups.} Does their unfaithfulness {our unfaithfulness as well} cancel the faithfulness of God? 4 Of course not! Let God be true though every one be a liar! As it’s written, “That You (God) may be justified in Your words, and will prevail when You (God) are judged.” {Selah/just think about that!}

     5 But if our condition of failure serves to show the rightness of God, what can we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath {imo, cause and effect} upon us? {Versus ant farm?} I (Paul) am speaking in a human way. 6 He unjust? By no means! For then how could God judge the world? {If not with justice and utter righteousness and rightness? There’s the one option for creation. Out of three? #1.Cause and effect w/remedy built in, #2.ant farm, or #3.entropy/imperfection into nothingness/noT being.

     Every able to think and reason being is bound to sooner or later stray in thought, word or deed, away from God, and his “perfect” will concerning all things. But God iS Life and “is Perfect” Mt.5:48, so strayed in any tiny speck of a way is imperfect, which is totally entropic. The dis-ease, this crucible and slow gehenna, as part of the cure? And immunity..}

            ๐ŸŒ™ Matthew 6:22-34

[Sermon while sitting on the Mountainside continued.] 22 -  “Your eye is the lamp of your body. So, if your eye is healthy and clear, your entire body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is not clear, but dark, your body, too, will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is dark, how very great is that darkness!

     24 No one is able to serve two masters. They will love one and hate the other. They’ll hold fast to one and will despise the other. You cannot be devoted to both God and wealth and status.” {Or world approval.}

     25 “Don’t worry about your life, what you’ll eat or drink, or what you’ll wear. Isn’t life more than food? And the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air. They don’t sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns. And yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to your lifetime?

     28 And why are you anxious about what you’ll wear.. Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil or spin, 29 yet even Solomon in all his glory wasn’t arrayed like one of these. 30 And if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven [grass was twisted and used for fire] will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore don’t be anxious, and thinking, what will we eat, what will we drink, or what shall we wear? 32 For the world seeks after all these things, but your heavenly Father knows what you need. 33 If you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then the rest will be added to you. 34 Therefore don’t be anxious about tomorrow, for each day can have enough trouble without worrying about tomorrow. And tomorrow will take care of itself.”
