04-01- Eph-5 Jn-11

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 5:9-16  John 11:38-54

            ☀️ Ephesians 5:9-16

9 - The fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true. 10 Try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead shine the {gentle} light of Truth on them. 12 It’s shameful even to speak of things that are done in secret. 13 But the light when shone, brings understanding. 14 And when something is understood, it becomes known.

     That’s why the scripture says, “Awake, O sleeper! Arise from the dead! And Christ will shine upon you!” {Golden wheat.. or still a weed in God’s garden? As we all were, and still are to a degree.. Until total overcoming at resurrection.. if in the first one. The second one has GWT Judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’ between the rising and when Father God says, “Behold, I make all new” Rev.21:5, Greek word “pas” - “all, every, the whole”.}

     15 So don’t be reckless and unwise in how you walk, but wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are quickly past.

     {Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:14-15-16, not an afterlife ‘hell’ and, or is Mt.25:1-13, notice the word “first”?}

            πŸŒ™ John 11:38-54

38 - Then Jesus, deeply moved, came to the tomb, which was a cave. A stone lay against it, 39 so Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”

     Martha, the sister of Lazarus, the dead man, said, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.”

     40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?”

     41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus looking upward said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I know you always hear me. But I say this on account of the people standing here, that they may believe that you have sent me.”

     43 And then he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And Lazarus, who had died, came out. His hands and feet were bound with linen strips, and his face was wrapped in a head cloth. Jesus said, “Unbind him. Set him free.”

     45 Many of the Judeans therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen this, believed in him. 46 But some went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

     47 So the leaders, the chief priests and the Pharisees, gathered as a council {☠️} and said, “What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our seats and our nation.”

     49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said, “You know nothing! 50 Nor do you understand! It’s better one man die! Than the whole nation perish!” 51 He didn’t even say this of his own accord! But being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation. 52 And not for the nation [ethnos - people, nation] {Hebrews} only.

     {Separated to separate God Most High in our understanding, from ‘the gods’ of the nations that had developed over ancient centuries.}

     BUT aLso to gather [synagagΔ“] into one, the children of God {humanity} who are scattered abroad. {From Babel Tower.}

     53 And from that day on they made plans to have him executed. 54 So Jesus no longer walked openly among them. And he went to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed for a while with the disciples.

John 12:20-36

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️11/03 - GospeL Verses πŸƒπŸ•Š️

       By Necessity Paraphrased

20 - Among those who were in Jerusalem for the Passover/Unleavened Bread feast were some from Greece. 21 They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and they asked him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus.” 22 So Philip told Andrew, and then Andrew and Philip went to Jesus and told him. 23 And Jesus said, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains only one. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25 Whoever loves his life will lose it, and whoever loves less their life in this world will keep it for enduring life. 26 If anyone serves me, he must follow me, and where I am, there they will be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor them. 27 But now my soul is troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But for this hour I have come. 28 Father, glorify your name.”

     Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it. And I will glorify it again.” 29 The crowd that was there heard it and said it had thundered. But others said, “An angel spoke to him.” 30 Jesus said, “This voice has come for your sake, not mine. 31 By this is the judgment of this world. And by this will the ruler of this world be cast out. 32 And I - when I am lifted up from the earth - will draw all to myself.” 33 He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. 34 So the crowd answered him, “We’ve heard from the Law that Messiah remains forever. Why do you say the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” 35 So Jesus said, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where they are going. 36 While you have the light, believe in the light, so you may become sons and daughters of Light.” When Jesus had said these things, he left the temple and city.

GospeL Verses ~ Luke 8:40-48

40 - Now when Jesus returned to the other side of Lake Galilee, a crowd was waiting for him. 41 And there came also a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the town synagogue. And falling at his feet, he implored him to come to his house, 42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying.

     As Jesus went, the people pressed around him. 43 And there was a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her earnings on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. 44 She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately she was healed. 45 And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When no one knew, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in upon you!” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power went out from me.” 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and fell down before him and declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been at once healed. 48 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                ~ 1 John 2:6-10 ~

6 - Whoever says they abide in him ought to walk the same way he walked. 7 Beloved, I am not writing to you any new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment, for it is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away. And the true light is already shining. 9 Whoever says they are in the light and hates their brother or sister, is in darkness. 10 But whoever loves their fellow person abides in the light, and in them there is no cause for stumbling. (Because “love fulfills The Law” Ro.13:8,10.)
