1 - As for me (Paul), when I was with you, I didn’t come proclaiming to you the testimony/witness/message of God with lofty speech or {so called, hidden only to the special} wisdom. 2 No, for I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and he crucified.

     3 And I was with you in humility and weakness, 4 my speech and my message were not in great sweeping words of wisdom, but in demonstrations of the Spirit(/Presence of God) and power. 5 So your faith might not rest upon the wisdom of man - but in the power of God.

     6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom. {Concerning God’s message and what he is doing? And how? And most importantly why? And insight to the ancient prophecies?} Not in wisdom of the age nor of the rulers {politics} of the day. All of that passes away.

     {Truth is and doesn’t change with the world, which is passing away. If the world holds particular views, those views are extremely likely to be wrong? Unless that world is tightly aligned with God? Who is Life. No amount of wishing, embellishing, or kidding ourselves will change that? We align with God/Truth, not God and truth aligns with us. Whereas the world can put on sheep’s clothing? All persons, groups, nations, ethnicities err and fall short. But God has our highest blueprint, individual and collective!}

            ༺☾𖤓༻ MARK 13:14-18

(Jesus continues answering the disciple’s questions.) 14 -  “And when you see the abomination, the desolation {and we, a final one?} standing where (it) ought not, let the reader understand, then let the/those in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down nor enter their house to take anything {instead of yards, they had their rooftops} 16 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to get their coat. 17 And alas for women who are with child (pregnant, baby in womb) and for those nursing infants in those days! 18 Pray it not happen in winter.”

     {Leading up to the razing of Jerusalem in 70 CE, the Roman standard was hung upon the temple, desolating it. I believe prophecy is fulfilled in widening scopes, and the final desolating abomination will be upon the human temple meant for God’s Spirit/Presence (1Cor.3:16) and is a last days fulfillment of Daniel 12:11-12. The prophecies of Daniel meet up at the culmination of history?

     Jesus’ said “Jerusalem, Jerusalem.. not one stone in you shall remain one atop another, that is not thrown down” Lk.19:41,44. But there’s a space of time (gap) between Jerusalem “TEMPLE, not one stone will be left” (Lk.21:5-6) and CITY “Jerusalem, not one stone will be left on another” AND(?) “the perpetual [tamid - continual, perpetual] (sacrifices) {of prayers, etc?} taken away” [sur - to depart, remove, removed] of DN.12:11-12 (wiTh Lk.19:41,44 & 1Cor.3:16?)

     Prophecy fulfilled from ‘smaller’ to full scope, includes the advents!?)

     Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44 & 1Cor.3:16..

and escalating the last “ten days” into most critical, Rev.10:2?

     “What will be the sign of your coming..?”}

Book of the Acts of the First Believers

[Saul, soon called Paul, made at least three “missionary journeys” - some say as far as Spain - proclaiming the news of Jesus and “the kingdom of God” and establishing ‘churches’ which were groups who met mostly in homes.]

     1 - Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

     2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God) said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul to do the work to which I’m calling them.” 3 Then after fasting and praying and laying hands on them, they sent them off. [“First missionary journey” / proclamation journey.]

     4 And so, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia which is on the coast. And from there they sailed to Cyprus, 5 and when they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Hebrew/Jewish synagogues. And John Mark went with them as an assistant. [John Mark, being able to read and write, was a scribe and secretary. Invaluable in the day. I think of him as young because he’s mentioned as “the son of Mary” to whose house Peter went after the angel freed him from prison in Jerusalem.]

    6 When they had gone through the whole island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish magician ⚗️, a false prophet🥼named Bar-Jesus. 7 He was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of good intelligence, who had summoned Barnabas and Saul in order to hear what they were proclaiming.

     8 But Elymas the magician, for that’s the meaning of his name, opposed them, trying to Keep the proconsul from hearing about the faith. 9 But Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit/Presence of God) looked intently at him 10 and said, “You son of the devil! And enemy of all righteousness, full of deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the LORD!? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you’ll be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.”

     Immediately mist and darkness {outer now as well as inner, cause and effect accelerated?} fell upon him, and he went about seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had occurred. And he was astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

     13 Then Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos, Cyprus, and came to Perga in Pamphylia. But John Mark left them and returned to Jerusalem. 14 And Paul and Barnabas, and companions, went on from Perga and came to Antioch in Pisidia. And on the Sabbath, they went to the synagogue and sat down.

     15 After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, please say it.”

     16 So Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen. 17 The God of this people Israel, chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt. And then with uplifted arm - he led them out - of Egypt.

     18 And for about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness. 19 After destroying seven (very wicked and heartlessly cruel) nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as an inheritance.

     20 All this took about 450 years. And after that he gave them judges until Samuel the prophet. 21 Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled for forty years.

     22 And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he said, ‘I have found in David, the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who will do according to MY will.’

     23 And now, of this man's descendants, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised” {so long ago, in Eden and afterwards}.

     24 “And before the savior’s coming, John (the Baptist/Baptizer) proclaimed a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25 And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘What do you suppose I am? I’m not he! No, for behold, after me is coming one, the sandals upon whose feet I’m not worthy to unlace!’

     26 Dear sons and daughters of the family of Abraham, and all those among you who revere God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation!

     27 But those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they didn’t recognize him or understand the words of the prophets - which are read every Sabbath - fulfilled the scripture by condemning him.

     28 And though they found in him no guilt worthy of death, they asked Pilate to have him executed. 29 And when they had carried out all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree (cross) and laid him in a tomb. 30 But God raised him from the dead. 31 And for many days he appeared to those who had been with him, and come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. And they are now his witnesses to the people.

     32 And so, we bring to you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, 33 he has fulfilled. He has fulfilled it to us their children, by raising Jesus.

     It’s written in the second Psalm, ‘You are my Son. Today I have begotten you.’” {He’s the only straight out from God one. Begotten, not formed.}

     34 “And as for the fact, that he raised him from the dead, and was not subject to corruption/death, he has declared openly, ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’ 35 As he says in another psalm, ‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’

     36 For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption. 37 But he, whom God raised up, did not see corruption. {1Pet.3:19 is answered by 2Pet.2:5.}

     38 Let it be known to you therefore, brethren, that through this man, forgiveness of sins [hamartia - missing the mark] is proclaimed to you. 39 And by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which no one can be freed by the law of Moses.

     40 Beware, however, lest what is said in the Prophets should come about, 41 ‘Look, you scoffers {oh world} be astounded when you come to ruin. For I’m doing a work in your days, a work that you won’t believe, even if you’re told of it.’”

     42 And as they were leaving, the people asked that these things might be told to them on the next Sabbath.

8 - The Scriptures long ago told how God would accept the nations because of their faith. This is why God told Abraham - the good news - that in him, all nations would be blessed. 9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with, and like, Abraham. He is called the man of faith.

     10 The thing is, anyone relying on fulfilling of the law, to be accepted, are under a curse! For it’s written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t abide by, and do - all - that’s written in the Book of the Law.”

    11 It’s proven, no one is justified - before God - by the law. For it’s written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” 12 And the law is not of faith, rather it’s a way, as it’s written, that “The one who does the law, shall live by all the law.” {Ultimately? The law is Perfection? An iron rod (measuring rod). It’s inescapable.. God iS Life. And he is perfect! 1Jn.5:20 and Mt.5:48. So imperfect is..? A curse, entropy to death - Eccles.9:5,10.}

     13 And Christ rescued us from that curse {and the captivity imperfection is} by becoming a curse for us. As it’s written, “Cursed is everyone who is executed on a tree” — 14 and in this way, the blessing of Abraham in Jesus Christ comes to the nations, so the promise of the Spirit is received through believing/faith [pistis: faith, belief, trust, confidence, fidelity, pledge, from peithô - be persuaded, come to trust – properly, persuasion].

    15 What I’m writing is - even with a man-made covenant/contract, no one annuls it, or adds to it, once it’s been ratified. [What he’s saying is “faith” preceded The Law. Abraham was before Moses. James 2:23, Gen.15:6. We are rescued, aNd receive the Spirit through faith/believing. Trusting.]

            🌙 P.M. MARK 11:11-19

11 - And so Jesus entered Jerusalem and he went into the temple. And when he had looked around at everything, as it was already late, he went back to Bethany with the twelve.

     12 On the following morning, as they were coming from Bethany, he was hungry. 13 And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find any fruit on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it wasn’t yet the season for figs. 14 And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. {For a living parable?}

     15 When they came to Jerusalem, he entered the temple and began to drive out those who were buying and selling in the temple courts. He turned over the tables of the money-changers along with the seats of those selling pigeons. 16 And he wouldn’t allow anyone to carry anything through the temple. 17 And when he was teaching, he said, “Is it not written? ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you’ve made it into a den of thieves.” 18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it (the leaders) and they were seeking a way to destroy him, for they feared him {political not religious/devout} because all the crowd was listening to his teaching.

     19 And when evening came, they went back out of the city.

ACTS 12 1-25

     Book of the Acts of the First Believers

 1 - At about that time Herod the king laid violent hands on some who were believers/followers. [This is Herod Antipas, son of Herod the Great who had killed all the Bethlehem children trying to destroy Jesus at birth, Rev.12:4] 2 He killed James the brother of John with the sword, 3 and when he saw that it pleased the leaders of the nation, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was during the annual days of Unleavened Bread.

     4 And when he had seized him, he put him in prison, and put four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after Passover to bring him out to the councils. [The whole week was referred to as either Passover or Unleavened Bread, and the two days, Passover and 1st Day of Unleavened Bread, were also called interchangeably. This hides how veRy perfectly the lord’s 1st brief advent fulfilled the Spring holy days. Holy means set apart.] 5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the rest of the believers were earnestly praying to God for him.

    6 Now on the very night before Herod was planning to bring him out, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound to them with two chains. And sentries were guarding the door of the prison.

     7 When suddenly, a light shone in the cell, and an angel of the Lord was there. He struck Peter on his side to wake him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off.

     8 The angel said, “Dress and put on your sandals.” And then he said, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.”

     9 And so they went out. But Peter didn’t realize it was really happening (literal), but thought he was in a vision. 10 When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city, and it opened for them. They went out and were going along the street, when the angel left him.

     11 And when Peter realized it, he said, “Now I’m sure the Lord has sent his angel and has rescued me from the hand of Herod and all he had planned!” {Yet he had been soundly sleeping.. I read that in commentaries when reading to be sure I had the “chained - to - the guards right. It was Roman custom to chain hand to hand.}

     12 So then he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name/surname was Mark {who wrote the gospel of Mark, and was a secretary/scribe for Paul and others}. There were many gathered there together and were praying.

     13 But when he knocked at the door at the gateway, a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer. 14 And when she recognized Peter's voice, in her joy, she forgot to open the gate! And she ran back in and reported that Peter was standing at the door!

     15 They said, “You’re seeing things..” But she kept insisting that it was so, but they said, “It’s his angel [aggelos - angel, messenger, guardian].”

     16 But Peter continued knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him they were amazed. 17 And motioning to them to listen, he described to them how the Lord had set him free and brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Tell all this to James and the brothers.” Then he left.

     18 Now when day came, there was no little disturbance among the soldiers over what had become of Peter. 19 And after Herod searched for him and didn’t find him, he examined the sentries and ordered that they should be put to death. Then he went down from Judea to Caesarea and spent some time there.

     20 Now Herod was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon. So they sent a delegation to make peace with him because their cities were dependent upon Herod’s country for food. {Dependence.} The delegates won the support of Blastus, Herod’s personal assistant, and an audience with Herod was granted.

     21 So on an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes. He took his seat on the throne. And he delivered an oration to the people. 22 And the people began shouting, “The voice of a god! The voice of a god! This is not a mere man!” 23 And because of it an angel of the Lord struck him down. {We have here a handed down version?} And because he didn’t {being Hebrew} give God the glory, he was eaten by worms and breathed his last. {Real bad guys, those Herods.. but this one (Antipas) had liked to listen to John the baptist/baptizer.. before he executed him to save face.}

     24 But the word of God increased and multiplied! 25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem (to Antioch) when they had delivered the relief. And they brought with them John, whose surname was Mark.

            ☀️ A.M. Galatians 3:1-7

1 - Oh foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you!? [Baskainó - to slander, hence by extension, to fascinate, bewitch, and overpower, from baskanos - to cast an evil spell, wishing injury upon someone, to bewitch. In classical Greek, Aristotle used baskaínō for "bewitching through the use of an evil power." That is, putting someone under a spell so they no longer could think (act) according to reason ..is also associated with envy ..slander.] {Advertizing, kind of low key bedazzling? Propaganda, from low key to..? A seeking to bedazzle?} 

     You once understood! Everyone knows Jesus Christ was crucified. 2 Let me ask you this! Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law?

     Or was it by hearing, with faith? By hearing, and believing what you heard. 3 And now are you so foolish?! Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by your own human effort? {Pride?} 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain? If indeed it was in vain? 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, do so by works of the law? Or by hearing with faith? 6 Faith, like Abraham, who “believed God - and it was counted to him as righteousness”. {THiS is THE agreement God has with us, the “Abrahamic Covenant”. James 2:23 - “The Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness.' And he was called the friend of God.”}

     7 We must understand this, those who believe and stay in the faith, are the sons and daughters of Abraham.

     {Because “the seed” (implanted) is Jesus. Gal.3:16 - “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It doesn’t say - to seeds - meaning many, but to one, and that one is Christ” (who will “draw all” Jn.12:32). He is the onLy straight out from God one. Father and Son are so close (one) that both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity. The scripture refers to both the Father and the Son as being the alpha to omega.}

            🌙 P.M. LUKE 19:41-48

41 - As Jesus drew near and saw the city (Jerusalem) he wept over it, 42 and he said “If only you, even you, had known on this day! The things that make for peace! But now, they’re hidden from your eyes.

     43 The days will come, when enemies will set up a barricade around you, surrounding you, and hemming you in on every side. 44 And you’ll be torn down, level to the ground. You and your children within you. And in you {Jerusalem of the time, the city, not just the temple} not one stone in you, will be left oNe upon another” {here is the “70 weeks gap” -> Dn.12:11(12), with 1Cor.3:16, surely?} “because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.” {Prophecy is fulfilled usually(?) in at least two scopes? So 70 CE was the prophecy fulfilled as ‘smaller’ scope.. and will be fulfilled full scope at the culmination (end/greek word “tel” root of telescope, but means “end-aim” at the end-aim) of history. Fiery judgments/consequences/results, are earthly.}

     45 And he went into the temple and began to drive out those who were selling. 46 And he said, “It’s written! ‘My house is a house of prayer!’ But you’ve made it a den of thieves!” {The Earth too, free enterprise highjacked and is now a $ity which rode the beasts (of prophecy) to all seven hills/continents, but they turn on ‘her’ and will consume/deplete and destroy her, even with fire, Rev.17:12,16.}

     47 He taught daily in the temple, and (the leaders/authorities) chief priests, scribes and principal men of the people, were seeking to destroy him, 48 but they couldn’t find how to do it, for the people were seeking him out and listening to him every day.
