08-08- From 1Jn-2 Lk-8

8Th ‘Day’ Study, historically in order, verses R paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

1John 2:6-10  Luke 8:40-48

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 2:6-10

6 - If we say we abide in the Lord, we ought to walk as he walked. 7 Beloved, I’m not writing to you any new commandment/instruction, but an old one that you’ve had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you’ve heard. 8 At the same time, it’s a new commandment, for it’s true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away. And the true light is already shining.

     9 Whoever says they’re in the light and despises their brother or sister (and fellow person) is in darkness. 10 But whoever loves their fellow abides in the light, and in them there’s no cause for stumbling. [Because “love fulfills The Law” Ro.13:8,10.]

            πŸŒ™ P.M. LUKE 8:40-48

(The first reading schedule I did was through the four gospels blended, and read through the year, but it was too repetitive, so I broke it into two six month readings.)

     8:40 - Now when they returned to the other side of Lake Galilee, a crowd of people were there waiting for Jesus. 41 And there came along also a man named Jairus, who was a leader of the town synagogue. And falling at his feet, he implored him to come to his house, 42 for he had an only daughter, she was only twelve years old, and she was dying.

     As Jesus went, the crowd pressed around him. 43 And there was a woman who had a bleeding for twelve years, and though she had spent all her earnings on doctors, no one could help her.

     44 She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately she was healed.

     45 And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When no one knew, Peter said, “Master, the crowd surrounds you and are pressing in on you!” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for power went out from me.”

     47 When the woman saw she wasn’t hidden, she was afraid, and fell down before him and told before all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been at once healed. 48 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

06-30 - From Heb-7 Mk-1

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 7:4-10  Mark 1:1-8

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 7:4-10

4 - Think of how great this man was to whom Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth of all he recovered! [From Abraham’s “battle against the kings” with a small band(?) to rescue his nephew Lot from being in captivity to a league of Mesopotamian kings.]

     5 And those descendants of Levi [from whose line were the civil servants, first at the tabernacle, and later the temple, which was literally the center of the twelve tribe nation] they have a commandment in the law to gather tithes from the people, that is, from their brothers, though they too are descended from Abraham.

     6 But this Melchizedek, received tithes from Abraham. And he blessed Abraham who had the promises from God. 7 It’s beyond dispute that the inferior in office is blessed by the superior. 8 In the one case tithes are received by mortal men, but in the other case, by one of whom it is fabled/implied/made to look as though he lives. [The way they met is like Melchizedek had no beginning or end.. like we see his path, Abraham crossed, and it just goes on without visible beginning or end.. And therefor (Paul or Apollo) is saying Melchizedek is a type of Christ, the Messiah.]

     9 One might even say that Levi himself, who receives tithes, 10 paid tithes to Melchizedek through Abraham.

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Mark 1:1-8

(Mark was not a disciple, he may have seen and heard Jesus at a young age? He became a helper and sort of secretary to Paul and others and traveled some with Paul and fellow workers. His gospel account is thought to be the earliest and much of it by interview.) 1 - The beginning of the gospel [euaggelion - a good message, good news] of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. {The entire message is the logos personified, and the written logos.}

     2 As it’s written in Isaiah the prophet - “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way” 3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

     4 (And so) John came, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5 And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, and confessing their sins [hamartia - missing the mark].

     6 Now John (“the baptist”/baptizer) was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey. 7 And he preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I! The strap of whose sandals I’m not worthy to bend down and loose. 8 I have baptized you with water. But he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit{/Presence of God}.

     {Father, and Son-the only straight out from God one, called forever first/proto, are so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. Same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity}.

05-16 - 1Pet-4 Jn-15

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • 1 Peter 4:1-8  John 15:1-17

            ☀️ A.M. 1 Peter 4:1-8

1 - Since Jesus suffered in this life, arm yourselves with the same thinking, for whoever has suffered in this life, has ceased from habitual wrongdoing, 2 and strives to live for the rest of the time in this life, no longer for things humans are passionate for, but is now passionate for the will of God.

     3 For the time is past and suffices for doing what the nations {natural, imperfect mankind} want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and all the lawlessness which idolatry {misdirected view, all confusion} results in. 4 So people {especially gentile nations at the time?} think it strange when you don’t run with them in the way of debauchery {their gentile rites} and they speak evil of you.

     5 But they’ll give account to he who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 And - to this end indeed - that even to the dead, the good news is announced. {During second half of millennium 8.}

     So he (Jesus) was judged indeed according to mankind in this life {if you don’t fit in ..to Satan, thus the nation’s scheme and theme “off with their head!” as they say} but alive however in the spirit according to God.

     7 The end of all things is at hand. {That age, concluding at 70 CE, and as last hour of these first 6 millennium approaches, the gospel and prophecy become understood? So again speak.} Therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep genuinely and wholeheartedly loving one another, since love covers a multitude of sins [of hamartia - missing the mark, flaws, shortcomings]..

            πŸŒ™ P.M. John 15:1-17

(Jesus to his disciples) 1 - “I’m the true vine {of Life} and my Father is the gardener and keeper of the vineyard.

     2 Every branch - in me - that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away” {‘forever’ has come to be assumed, as so many are steeped in the ancient, cruel spiritual propaganda myth/enchantment} “and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes [kathairΓ³ - cleanses, purifies, prunes, removes the dead growth] so it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean [katharos] {pruned} because of the message I’ve spoken to you.

     4 Now, abide in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it stays on the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I’m the vine. You’re the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in them, will bear much fruit. But apart from me you can do nothing.

     6 If anyone doesn’t abide in me they’ll become a dry branch that falls away and withers.” {And if it is during last hour(s) will be gathered to the bonfire called armageddon? Siren call being division, rage? Mt.13:30. And near or far won’t matter, Isaiah 24:20/Rev.10:4.}

     7 “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, whatever you ask for in prayer, will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

     9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments/instructions/sayings/words, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I’ve spoken to you, so my joy may be in you! And so your joy may be full.

     12 And this is my commandment - that you love one another” (left aNd right!!!! are we listen-inG?? Get our heads out of “the world”. Division is the siren caLL to armageddon(s) large and small - a 2024 ‘study’ note) — “aS I have loved you!

    13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down their life for their friends.” {Including laying down our politics.} 14 “You are my friends iF you do what I tell you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his master is doing. But I call you friends, for all that I’ve heard from my Father I’ve made known to you. 16 You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 This I command you - that you love one another.”

2 John 1 4-13

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

08/29 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

4 - I was very happy and rejoiced to see some of your children walking in the Truth, according to how we have been commanded (instructed) by the Father. (John of course means believers in the group of believers he’s writing to, as an old man, John called everyone children.) 5 And now I ask you, dear lady (believing group) - not as though I were writing you a new commandment [entolΓ© - commandment, order, instruction] - but the one we have had from the beginning > that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk according to his instructions. And this is the command/instruction, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. 7 For - many deceivers - are in the world, those who deny the coming of Christ  (Messiah) Jesus in the flesh (literally). Such teaching is deception and antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win the full prize! 9 Everyone who runs on ahead and doesn’t stay [menΓ³n - remain, abide, stay, continue, dwell] in - the teaching of Christ - does not have God. Whoever abides in - Christ’s - teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If any believer comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t receive them nor embrace their message, 11 for whoever does, takes part in their harmful [ponΓ©ros - evil, wicked, bad, malicious, hurtful] works.

     12 Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use papyrus and ink [melon - black, dark]. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be full.

      13 The children of your elect sister greet you.

08/18 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

23 - And this is his commandment - that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he (Jesus) has commanded/instructed us. 24 Whoever keeps these abides in God, and God in us. And by this we know that he abides in us. By the Spirit he has given us. {God’s own Spirit/Presence, the enduring Life. Because God iS life. And “is perfect” but no option to stray in Eden would be an ant farm, so “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10, from this imperfection/entropy which “doesn’t quit”.

     Father and Son are so close, both administer the Father’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity.}

Romans 7 5-10

  02/05 ~ From New Testament Letters

  πŸ•Š️ (In the Order Believed Written)

        Paul’s Letter To The Romans

5 - For while we were living in the lower nature/carnality, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in us bearing fruit for death. 6 But now we are released from the law - having died to that which held us captive - so that we now serve in the new way of the Spirit. And not in the old way of the written code. {Outward compliance doesn’t work. Genuine inward change and newness - worked by God who iS life, is what works. Submission, fully yielded. After all, it’s He who has our highest blueprint!}

     7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? Of course not! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known what is sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet, if the law had not said, “Do not covet.” 8 But {tricky} sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness! {Like forbidden fruit, seduces, entices and excites.} Otherwise it lies dormant. 9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. 10 The very commandment that promised life, proved to be death to me.

One Commandment

There's so much going on (in the world) that it's easy to get distracted. This whole life can be one big distraction! That's a part of being human. But the thing we shouldn't forget is that God is the Prime Element of life! He's the all in all..in everything! If we let him, he will open within us a fountain of worship (love) thanksgiving and praise..
- One commandment, "love God".
(Matthew 15:36)
