            ☀️ A.M. 1John 4:1-3

1 - Beloved, don’t believe every spirit {every wind of doctrine} but test the spirits to see if they’re from God, for many false prophets [pseudo-prophétés - one who in God's name teaches what is not true] have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God - every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ comes [erchomai - to come or go] in the flesh is from God. 3 And every spirit {teaching, word, reasoning} that doesn’t confess Jesus {as coming “in the flesh”} isn’t from God. This is the spirit of antichrist which you heard was coming [erchomai - to come or go] and already is in the world. {I don’t know the greek tenses.. But, if the difference then - his coming understood as literal or not literal, was a dividing line, why not the same with his second coming - parousia - presence, coming, arrival, advent? Not that all, today, who listen to the ‘his coming/return is physically unseen’ are antiChrist and are unbelievers! But the teaching may turn out to be? Anti, against ..His cause?} [Cause - onoma - name, cause, reputation.]

            🌙 P.M. MARK 8:1-10

1 - And then again, on another day, when a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples over and said, 2 “I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve been with me now three days and have nothing to eat! 3 If we send them away to their homes, hungry, they may faint on the way. And some have come pretty far.”

     4 His disciples said, “How can we feed these people bread here in this lonely place?”

     5 But he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” 6 So he told the people to sit down, and giving thanks, he broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to pass out to the people. 7 They also had a few small fish, so he blessed them, and handed them out as well.

     8 Everyone ate and was satisfied, and afterwards they gathered up the broken pieces left over and there were seven full baskets. 9 There was about four thousand people. After that he sent them on their way, 10 and got into the boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

     {When will we learn? God is providing “more than we think or imagine”.. Both collectively and individually.}

18 - Children, it’s the last hour [hora - a definite space of time, a season, an hour, the particular time for anything] and as you have heard, antichrist is coming.

     Even now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know it is the last season. 19 They went out from us, but they weren’t genuine, for if they had been, they would have continued with us. But they went away from us, that it might become plain that they’re not of us. 20 But you, you have been anointed by the Holy One, and have the accurate knowledge/knowing. 21 I write to you, not because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know the truth, and because no lie can be of the truth. 22 And who is the liar? But he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This -> is the antichrist -> whoever denies the Father and the Son. {And has become “the world”?}

            🌙 P.M. MARK 6:14-29

14 - King Herod heard all about Jesus, for his name had become very well known. Some people said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead! That’s why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” 15 But others said, “He’s Elijah!” And still others said, “He’s a prophet, like one of the prophets of old.”

     16 But when Herod heard of it, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!” 17 For it was Herod who had ordered John be arrested and cast into prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, because he had married his own brother’s wife. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It’s not lawful for you to have her.” [Herod was Hebrew.]

     19 So Herodias hated him. And she wanted to have him put to death. But she couldn’t, 20 because Herod feared John. For he knew he was a righteous and holy man, and so he kept him safe. When he heard him speak, he was perplexed and troubled. Yet he liked to listen to him.

     21 But an opportunity came when Herod, upon his birthday, gave a banquet for his nobles, military commanders, and the leading men of Galilee. 22 When Herodias' daughter came in and danced for them, she pleased Herod and his guests. And the king exclaimed, “Ask me for whatever you wish! And I will give it to you!” 23 And he vowed, “Whatever you ask! I will give you! Up to half of my kingdom!” 24 So she sought out her mother and said, “What should I ask for?” And her mother said, “The head of John the Baptist.” 25 So she hurried back to the king, saying, “I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter!”

     26 The king was troubled and regretful, but because of his oath - his guests heard it - he didn’t want to be seen breaking his word. 27 So he sent for an executioner with orders to bring John's head, who then went and beheaded him in the prison. 28 And he brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl. And the girl gave it to her mother. 29 When his disciples heard of it, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

   (In the Order Believed Written)

4 - I was very happy and rejoiced to see some of your children walking in the Truth, according to how we have been commanded (instructed) by the Father. (John of course means believers in the group of believers he’s writing to, as an old man, John called everyone children.) 5 And now I ask you, dear lady (believing group) - not as though I were writing you a new commandment [entolé - commandment, order, instruction] - but the one we have had from the beginning > that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk according to his instructions. And this is the command/instruction, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. 7 For - many deceivers - are in the world, those who deny the coming of Christ  (Messiah) Jesus in the flesh (literally). Such teaching is deception and antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win the full prize! 9 Everyone who runs on ahead and doesn’t stay [menón - remain, abide, stay, continue, dwell] in - the teaching of Christ - does not have God. Whoever abides in - Christ’s - teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If any believer comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t receive them nor embrace their message, 11 for whoever does, takes part in their harmful [ponéros - evil, wicked, bad, malicious, hurtful] works.

     12 Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use papyrus and ink [melon - black, dark]. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be full.

          Mark 9:25-32

25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 26 Then the spirit shrieked, threw the boy into another violent convulsion, then left him. And a murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet. 28 Afterward, when Jesus was alone in the house with his disciples, they asked him, “Why couldn’t we drive out that evil spirit?” 29 He answered them, “This kind by none is able to go out except by prayer”. (Because the people involved hadn’t had the faith to believe the disciples could do it?)

     30 Leaving that region, they traveled through Galilee, but Jesus didn’t want anyone to know he was there, 31 for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And when he is killed, after three days he will rise.” 32 The disciples didn’t understand what Jesus meant, and they were shy to ask.

(I’m just going to copy-paste - from a modern translation - you’ll see why I dislike these verses. Does such evil still exist? You bet it does.)

     The king, Herod Antipas [Son of Herod the Great who killed all the young boy children of Bethlehem, trying to destroy the prophesied “king”] soon heard about Jesus, because everyone was talking about him. Some were saying, “This must be John the Baptist raised from the dead. That is why he can do such miracles.” Others said, “He’s the prophet Elijah.” Still others said, “He’s a prophet like the other great prophets of the past.” When Herod heard about Jesus, he said, “John, the man I beheaded, has come back from the dead.” For Herod had sent soldiers to arrest and imprison John as a favor to Herodias. She had been his brother Philip’s wife, but Herod had married her. John had been telling Herod, “It is against God’s law for you to marry your brother’s wife.” [The Herods were Hebrew/Israeli]. So Herodias bore a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But without Herod’s approval she was powerless, for Herod respected John; and knowing that he was a good and holy man, he protected him. Herod was greatly disturbed whenever he talked with John, but even so, he liked to listen to him. But Herodias’s chance finally came on Herod’s birthday. He gave a party for his high government officials, army officers, and the leading citizens of Galilee. Then his daughter, also named Herodias, came in and performed a dance that greatly pleased Herod and his guests. “Ask me for anything you like,” the king said to the girl, “and I will give it to you.” He even vowed, “I will give you whatever you ask, up to half my kingdom!”

     She went out and asked her mother, “What should I ask for?”

Her mother told her, “Ask for the head of John the Baptist!” So the girl hurried back to the king and told him, “I want the head of John the Baptist, right now, on a tray!”

     Then the king deeply regretted what he had said, but because of the vows he had made in front of his guests, he couldn’t refuse her. So he immediately sent an executioner to the prison to cut off John’s head and bring it to him. The soldier beheaded John in the prison, brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl, who took it to her mother. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. (The modern lawlessness/“strong delusion” of “seating man [anthropos] as though in the temple as god”/highest power began in Greece. Not only spiritually, “man as divinity” but the ‘scientific’ thought was a growing “man from rock/earth” philosophy. Anti-Christ is any sentiment that is - against Christ, or opposes Christ. Or both. There’s been many. But comes to be an organized and structured anti?)

     19 (Now in John’s day) - They went out from us, but they did not really belong with us. For if they had belonged, they would have remained with us. This was proven when they left. 20 You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 21 I have not written to you because you lack knowledge of the truth, but because you know the truth, and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
