09-13 - James 4 7-11 Luke 11 29-36

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ CU Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. James 4:7-11

{James. natural birth brother of Jesus, pulls no punches. ..Instead of Galatians 5:20, rivalry, self interest and promotion, etc} 7 - Submit yourselves to God! Resist the devil! {And the devilish.} And he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God. And he will draw near to you.

     Clean up your lives, you sinners! [Harmatoi - we missing the mark.] Purify your hearts, you people who can't make up your mind! 9 Grieve, mourn, and weep! Turn your laughter to mourning, and your joy to gloom! {Heartfelt remorse for any evils done and even flaws. This is not the world’s racial shaming for political advantage. Or passing judgment on our fellows. It’s self judgment. The contrast (imperfection/straying, the comparison to GOD’s kingdom/perfection) matters, boTh collective, aNd, individual. Imperfect cannot work. God iS life and is perfect, 1Jn.5:20, Mt.5:48, and so, thus, this entropy, a slow gehenna from which “God is savior..” 1Tim.4:10.}

     10 Humble yourselves before the LORD, and he will lift you up! [Hupsoó - to lift or raise up, uplift, lift on high, exalt] {especially during his long second advent?}

     11 Don’t speak evil against one another, brethren/brothers and sisters! {Moderately left and moderately right, hell believers and hell not believers.. on and on?}

     The one who speaks against a brother or sister or judges his brother or sister, speaks evil against the truth. And judges the truth. But if you judge the truth, you’re then not a doer of truth, but a judge.

     12 There is one Lawgiver, who’s able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

            🌙 P.M. LUKE 11:29-36

(As some were accusing - saying he was casting out demons by the ruler of demons - others were asking him for a sign, and) 29 - As the crowd of people was increasing, Jesus said, “This generation is a troublesome generation. {“This generation” - also humanity as a whole?}

     It seeks for a sign, but there will be no sign but the sign of Jonah. 30 Just as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of man be to this generation. {To that generation, and ultimately to all humanity. “Wheel within wheel”, stretched from one another, is the shape of a trumpet. The pattern of all prophecy? Fulfilled in scopes, smaller to larger.. Smaller scope to full scope, including the Lord’s advents! To full scope, the end-aim, greek word “tel”. Root of telescope, usually translated ‘end’. Everything has an end-aim.}

     31 The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment, with the men of this generation and give judgment against them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and look, something greater than Solomon is here!

     32 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and express judgment, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and look, something greater than Jonah is here!

     33 “No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl, but they put it on a lampstand or table, so those who enter may see by its light.

     34 Your eye is the lamp of your body, and if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye isn’t good, you’ll be full of darkness. 35 Therefore be careful, lest the light that’s in you is actually darkness, and not light. 36 And if you are full of light, having no darkness, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its - radiance - gives light.” {We’re not perfected until the “last day” at harpazo, Hebrews 11:40. But we (I) should be progressing in love for all.}

08-16 - 1John 3 15-17 Mark 7 1-13

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 3:15-17

15 - Anyone who is hating, is a murderer in their heart. And you know that no murderer has the enduring life abiding in them. 16 We have the Lord’s example of love. How he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives (our own self interest) for our fellows. 17 But if someone has the world's goods and sees another person in need, yet closes their heart against them, how is God's love in them?

     {This, surely(?) isn’t a call to make human institutions powerful enough to guarantee equity.. as surely that is way too much resources in too few human hands?}

            🌙 P.M. MARK 7:1-13

1 - Some Pharisees and scribes who had come from Jerusalem had gathered around him. 2 And they noticed some of his disciples ate without washing their hands first. 3 For the Pharisees and their followers when they come from the marketplaces, and before they eat, wash their hands a certain traditional way. 4 And there are many other traditions they observe, certain ways of washing cups, pots, copper vessels and dining couches.

      5 So the Pharisees and scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not do according to the tradition of the elders? And are eating with unwashed hands?” 6 And he said to them, “Isaiah prophesied of you, saying, ‘You honor me with your lips, but your heart is far from me. 7 In vain do you worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

     8 For you abandon the commandment of God and you hold to men’s traditions. {Today the world’s way is a huge draw?} 9 You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to have your own tradition! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and, ‘Woe to whoever neglects father or mother.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban (put in trust, as put aside for God) {for the Pharisees and scribes!} 12 then they don’t have to do anything for their father or mother! 13 Thus canceling the word of God by your tradition, you’ve handed down. And there are many more things like this you do!”

08-09 - From 1Jn-2 Lk-8

(8th ‘Day Studies)

1John 2:11-14  Luke 8:49-56

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 2:11-14

11 - Whoever hates [miseó - to hate, detest, love less, esteem less despises] their brother [adelphos - from the same womb] {all from Eve, their fellow person/others} IS in the dark. And walking in darkness, not knowing where they stumble, because the darkness has blinded their eyes.

    12  I (John) am writing to you, little children because for his name's [onoma - authority, CAUSE, name’s] sake, your sins/“missing the mark” is forgiven. 13 I’m writing to you, fathers, because you’ve known he who is from the beginning. [And what he taught - Adam Clarke Commentary.] I’m writing to you, young men, because you’ve overcome the evil one. I’m writing to you, children, because you know the Father.

     14 I write to you, fathers, because you know he who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you’re strong, and the word of God lives/abides in you, and (so) you overcome the evil one.

            🌙 P.M. LUKE 8:49-56

49 - While Jesus was still walking and teaching, someone from the Jairus’ house came and said, “Your daughter has died, don’t trouble the teacher any longer.” 50 But Jesus heard and said, “Don’t fear. Just believe. And she’ll be well.”

     51 When they came to the house, he allowed no one to enter with him, except Peter, John and James, and the father and mother of the girl. 52 And the people who had gathered, were weeping and mourning, but he said, “Don’t weep. She’s not dead but sleeping.” {The big sleep.}

     53 And they laughed at him, for they knew she had died {perished, hades-not seen, state of being gone, God is Life and “is perfect” mt.5:48, thus this sad state of affairs, this contrast (imperfection/entropy)}. {And slow gehenna. Before death, not after. Though second resurrection rises as mortal? It has to doesn’t it?}

     54 Taking her by the hand he said, “Child, arise.” 55 And her spirit [pneuma - spirit, wind, breath] returned, and she got up at once. And he told them to give her something to eat. 56 And her parents were amazed, but he told them not to tell anyone what had happened.

05-31 - From 2Tim-2,3 Jn-19

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 2 Timothy 2:22-3:7  John 19:23-27

            ☀️ A.M. 2 Timothy 2:22-3:7

22 - So flee youthful passions. Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a genuine and pure heart. 23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies. You know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach patiently, 25 correcting opponents with gentleness. That God may grant them repentance leading to knowing the truth, 26 and they come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

     3:1 - But understand this, in the last days there will be times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, full of conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness {!? ..puts on sheep’s clothing? talks a good talk?} but denying its power. {Which is God.} Avoid such. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture the weak, burdened with sins [hamartia - (of) missing the mark, with flaws, weaknesses] and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at an understanding of the truth. {The world’s ways, and life as we presently know it, this contrast, imperfection, an abyss of potential, is - so to speak - a very powerful delusion.}

            🌙 P.M. John 19:23-27

23 - When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his garments and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier. But the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom, 24 so they said, “Let’s not tear it, but we’ll cast lots to see whose it’ll be.” This fulfilled the Scripture which says, “They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.” For indeed the soldiers did these things.

     25 Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and her sister, and Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved (John referred to himself this way) standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” 27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his household.

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • 2 Peter 1:1-8  John 17:1-11

            ☀️ A.M. 2 Peter 1:1-8

1 - (This letter is from) Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. To those who have obtained a faith - of equal standing with ours - by the righteousness of our God and our savior Jesus Christ. 2 May grace and peace be plentiful toward you in the knowing of God and of Jesus our Lord.

     3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life, through the true knowledge of he who called us by his own glory and excellence. 4 By which he has granted to us his priceless and very great promises, so that through them we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the world’s corruption [phthora - corruption, destruction, decay, decomposition, dissolution]. 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, virtue [areté - goodness, virtue] and add to it, knowledge, 6 and to knowledge, add self-control, and to self-control, steadfastness, and to steadfastness add godliness, 7 and to godliness add genuine brotherly affection, and to brotherly affection add love.

     8 For if these qualities are yours, and are increasing, they will keep you fruitful and benefitting in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus.

            🌙 P.M. John 17:1-11

1 - After Jesus had said these things, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you. 2 You’ve given him authority over all, to give eternal [aiónios - adjective of aion/eon/age, aionions] life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is enduring [aiónios] life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

     4 I glorified You while upon earth, and accomplished the work You gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own Presence with the glory I had with you before the world was.

     6 I’ve shown you to the people which you gave me out of the world.” {See vs.2, it began with the twelve.} Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know all you have given me is from you. 8 For I’ve given them the words you gave to me, and they received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you. They believe you sent me, 9 and I’m praying for them. I’m not praying for - the world - but for those you’ve given me, for they’re yours.

     10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I’m glorified in them. 11 I’m no longer in the world, but they’re in the world, and I’m coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name [onoma - name, character, reputation, cause] which you have given to me, that they may be one, as we are one.”

12-27 - 2 Corinthians 6 1-10

🗝️’s to riddles, N.T. in a yr study, verses paraphrased Logic [ ] references { } thots

☀️ 1 - Working together with him, then, we {Paul and bros} appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain! {😮Why do thAt!?} 2 For he says, “In a favorable time I heard you. In a day of saving, have I helped you.” {Entropy rules.. which includes corruption, wRong waY! wRong waY! We’re drowning, someone throws us a rope! “God is Love” and Life.. “In Him is no darkness at all” none! ..And this, unavoidable imperfection, is the onLy crucible! What. other. could. there. be? None. No Darkness. As creator, how would YOU create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd keep paradise/perfection intact? Program everyone? ..Amen that’s exactly what he’s doing. His other option? For a creation.. An Ant Farm?

     Imagine a totally non entropic universe.. “The lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow.. All will dwell under their own vine and fruit tree..” Isaiah 11:7, Micah 4:4. “They will sleep safely in the forest..” Ezekiel 34:25. And city!}

     Listen. Now is the favorable time! Now is the day of salvation. 3 Put no obstacle in anyone's way!! That no fault be found with our work, 4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves! In every way.

     By great endurance in afflictions, by hardships, calamities, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, and labors. By sleepless nights and hunger. 6 And by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit! True and genuine love. [With agapé - love, affection, benevolence, and anupokritos - sincere, without hypocrisy, genuine.]

     7 By truthful speech, and the power of God. With tools of righteousness for the right hand, and for the left. 8 Through honor and dishonor. Through slander and praise.

     We’re treated as impostors, and yet we’re genuine, 9 as unknown, yet well known, as dying, but behold, we live! We’re scolded, and yet not perished. 10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. As poor, yet making many rich! As having nothing, yet possessing everything!

11-13 - JOHN 14 12-21

N.T. IN A YEAR READING & STUDY [ ]REFERENCES { }THOTS, VERSES R PARAPHRASED

🌙 [Jesus continues, on the eve of his crucifixion.] 12 - “Truly, I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do. And greater [megas - large, great, in the - widest - sense] works than these they will do, because I’m going to the Father.

     13 Whatever you ask in my name [onoma - name, authority, cause] I’ll do it, this is so the Father will be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name [authority, cause] I’ll do it.

     15 If you love me, you’ll keep my instructions. 16 And I’ll ask the Father, and he’ll give you another helper, this one to be with you to the age, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it doesn’t see him or know him. You know him. For he is with you, and, will be in you. {The Father’s Presence.}

     18 I’m not leaving you as orphans, but I’ll come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will no longer see me, but you’ll see me. And because I live, you’ll live also. 20 In that day you’ll know I’m in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 Whoever has my instructions and keeps them, it is they who love me. And they who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and make myself known to them.”

     {Best way to know Jesus and the Father - is to follow Jesus’ instructions? “Love God.” One rule, because when genuine, the second is also!}

10-17 - Galatians 5 22-26

scriptures paraphrased to post

   🕊️a reading & study 🕊️

22 - The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such as that there is no law {needed}. 24 For those who belong to Jesus have crucified the flesh {lower, self first and selfish, etc. imperfect (so entropic) nature} with its sufferings and {inordinate immoderate, disorderly and, or excessive} desires and longings.

    25 If we live by the Spirit{/Presence of God our Father who is Love, Life and “is perfect”} let us daily walk in his Spirit. 26 Not becoming boastful and conceited, not provoking one another to anger {harsh thoughts and words} and envying one another. {Here’s the ‘turn or burn’ in reality, fruit, results, consequences (and failure) can spark into fires large or small, inner and, or outer.. Is.24:20/Rev.10:4, speaking of sparks, I believe there is the two gatherings occurring - Mt.13:30 as Rev.16:14-15-16 and Mt.25:1-13(10) which I’ve gone on and on about before, because, Jn21:17, “lovest thou me? Feed my sheep.”🙏🏼}

10-14 - Galatians 5 1-8

scriptures paraphrased to post

   🕊️a reading & study 🕊️

1 - It’s for freedom and liberty that Christ has set us free! Stand firm therefore! And don’t submit to a yoke of slavery. 2 Look: I, Paul, say to you, that if you accept circumcision (as a requirement to be in a relationship/communion and union with God who is Life) Christ will not profit you. (We cannot both earn and receive a GIFT.) 3 I testify again to every one who accepts circumcision that they are obligated to keep the whole law. {False teachers were insisting the “New Way” had to include the “Old Way” - the Old, and New, “covenants/agreements - first one needed a mediator/lawyer/a speaking for, because two sides were agreeing; new way didn’t need one because it’s basically one sided”. Yet! We DO have to “ENTER his Rest”! Heb.4. And respond, let the heart cry “Father! My father!”}

     4 You are cut off from Christ, if you want to be justified by the law. And fallen from grace. 5 For through the Spirit - by faith - we are eagerly waiting for the hope [elpis - expectation!] of righteousness. {Bestowed. And perfection! “We shall be like Him” 1Jn.3:2 but each one unique. Which God in Malachi 3:17 calls jewels.} 6 For - in Christ Jesus - neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything. {Doesn’t work, was always meant as a guardian and tutor - keeping things together, not dissolute/cursed - until the maturity of Christ in us and we in him. Not outer effort to transformation, but true inner transformation authored and carried out by God aLmighty.} But only by faith, which foundation is love. {The law is Love, always has been. One ruLe! Love God, and we wiLL genuinely love, have affection for and care about our fellow person/all humanity with its BEAUTIFUL branches. ..The sad commentary of history is shared by all branches. Any other view is political blame game for despicable purposes.}

     7 You were running well. Who hasss hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion is not from he who calls you. [The letter to the Galatians is all about the New Covenant/Contract/Treaty/Promise of God, which Paul called the New and Living Way - Heb.10:20, “opened for us by Jesus”.]

08/24 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

19 - And now we love, because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and despises their brother or sister, they are a liar [pseústēs - from pseúdomai]. For whoever doesn’t love their brother or sister who they see, cannot love God who they do not see. {They especially don’t ‘see’ him if they despise rather than love?} 21 And this is the commandment (“instructions”) we have from him - whoever loves God must also love their fellow (person). {The literal - “the one loving God, loves also the brother/sister of them - greek “same womb” of them; aka Eve. In this way we judge our own heart, not another or everyone of another group.. or faith, etc. Which we (humanity) seems prone to. Lol. And always folks we know nothing about. But! Powers and principalities benefit from division and all it brings. And of course the first gone rogue one is called “the accuser”.}

1 Peter 4 1-8

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 🍃🕊️  reading & study  🕊️🍃

05/16 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

1 - Since therefore Jesus suffered in this life, arm yourselves with the same thinking, for whoever has suffered in this life, has ceased from habitual wrongdoing, 2 and strives to live for the rest of the time in this life, no longer for human passions but for the will of God. 3 For the time is past and suffices for doing what the nations {natural, imperfect mankind} want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and the lawlessness idolatry results in. 4 So people {especially gentile nations at the time?} think it strange when you don’t run with them in the way of debauchery {gentile rites} and they speak evil of you. 5 But they’ll give account to he who is - ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 And - to this end indeed - even to the dead, the good news is announced. {During second half of millennium 8.} So judged {and discerned} indeed according to mankind in this life {as we presently know it} but alive however in the spirit according to God.

     7 The end of all things is at hand {that age, concluding at 70 CE} therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep genuinely and wholeheartedly loving one another, since love covers a multitude of sins [of hamartia - missing the mark, flaws, shortcomings].

14 - And Jesus called to him the people, again and said, “Listen everyone, and understand, 15 there is no food outside a person that can defile a person, but the things that come out of a person are what pollutes.” 17 And when he had gone inside, his disciples asked him about the parable. 18 And he said, “Are you too without understanding? Do you not see that what goes in a person from outside doesn’t pollute, 19 since it doesn’t enter his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” Thus he declared all foods clean. 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles. 21 For from within, out of the heart, comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, wantonness [aselgeia - licentiousness, lewdness, from aselgēs - brutal – properly, violent spite which rejects restraint and indulges in lawless insolence] envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they are what pollute.”

     24 And from there he went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And entered a house and didn’t want anyone to know he was there, but it couldn’t be kept secret. 25 And right away a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syro-phoenician (palestinian) by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 And he said to her, “(We must) let the children be fed first, for it’s not right to feed the children's bread and to the little dogs.” 28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the little dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs that fall from the table.”

      29 “For this,” he said (smiling and impressed?) “you may go your way, and you will find the demon has left your little daughter.” 30 And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone from her.

                ~ 1John 3:18-22 ~

18 - Little children, let us not love only in word and talk but in actions and in truth. (Genuinely.) 19 For by this we will know that we are of the truth (and in “the Way”) and will reassure our heart before him. 20 For when our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows all. 21 And beloved, if our heart doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence before God. 22 And whatever we ask of him, we receive, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. [New Testament commands, and the well being and society preserving “ten commandments” we keep through God’s HoLy Spirit/Presence with us.. and through Jesus. Our “faith is reckoned as righteousness” and innocence and pardon, all debt paid by “Christ Crucified”. Foods and days/Sabbath are according to ones “own” conscience and mind [Ro.14:5] as Jesus iS the Sabbath, the day is the “type and shadow” of. Then we “follow” the Lord’s commands to “abide in him” and “abide in the scripture” as “all scripture is for training” 2Tim.3:16. Training for what? Eternity. But also for serving, called reigning, during Jesus’ loNg second advent? Consisting of “the millennium” - upon Earth, and there are mortal survivors of the apocalypse - which was fully done by man - and during the GWT judgment ‘day’ - the “8th day” and “last great day” Lev.23:36 and Jn.7:37. (And Mt.25:1-13 - the door to). Called reigning, for to do His works is to reign? “Crown of LiFe” ..not like the world.

         Luke 20:20-26

20 Keeping a close watch on him, the leaders sent spies, who pretended to be sincere. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said, so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of Rome. 21 “Teacher,” they inquired, “we know that You speak and teach correctly. You show no partiality, but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. 22 Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar ..or not?” 23 But Jesus saw through their duplicity and said to them, 24 “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. 25 “Well then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” 26 They couldn't make him say anything wrong in front of the people. And his answer surprised them, so they said no more.

       ~ Galatians 5:9-15 ~

9 This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough! (Good or bad, true or false, it will spread like yeast! The Good - like Mt.13:33, note “all” - resulting in a rich aroma like baking bread! The notGood spreading like spores from an unholy fungus! Which side are our view and words on?!) 10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is confusing you will bear [bastazó - take up, carry] the judgment [kríma - “the results of a judgment, dramatically links cause-to-effect”] of it, whoever it may be. 11 Dear brothers and sisters, if I were still preaching that you must be circumcised—as some say I do—why am I still being persecuted? For in that case the offense of the cross has been removed! (Circumcision represented following the law/rules to earn God’s favor, whereas “The Law” is a tutor/guardian to tell us what wrongdoing is, and separated {quarantined?!} Israel for the purpose of birthing the “savior of the world”.) 12 As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves! [Apokoptó - to cut off, cut away, castrate.]

     13 But you have been called to liberty! To be free! But don't use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want! Use it as an opportunity to serve each other in love. 14 All the Law says is summed up in the command to love others as much as you love yourself. 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. [Or, “If you criticize and attack each other, be careful that you don't destroy each other” Or, “If you keep attacking each other like wild animals, you had better watch out or you will destroy yourselves.”] (We don’t want to sow confusion or discord, as we just might reap destruction. *Earthly* ruin! Not ‘forever afterlife’ annihilation. Or worse. Never forget, the root word of “logic”/reason, is logos. “God is Love” and is “aLmighty” and “is perfect” - the ‘end’ result of all this, of this twilight zone, of this all important contrast, can only be the utter best one possible. [“End” is from the greek word “tel” which means “end-aim”. Root of telescope.] (Which works very well to illustrate how both the kingdom and prophecy proceeds, like the old sailor’s telescope, from small scope to larger full scale scope - I read that some time ago in a commentary on the word “tel”. We can be sure God’s end-aim will be ALL that will remain standing and intact. Rev.7:3,9,4)

       Mark 8:22-26

22 When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, that he might touch the man and heal him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” (The lengths He will go to convince one of their healing!) 24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking around.” 25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.” (More and more news of his works met with leaders and Pharisee wrath and plot to execute him, and restricted his works.)

           ~ 1 John 4:7-11 ~

7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have  life through him. (“The wages/result of sin — hamartia - missing the mark - imperfection as opposed to God’s perfection, Mt.5:48, who iS life — is death” opposite of Life.) 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to propitiate for our sins. (Appeasing an angry god? Surely not. But to appease every delicate psyche and guilty conscience, even of the very, very worst.) 11 And so dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
