03-10 - Col-1 Mt-20

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Colossians 1:9-15  Matthew 20:1-16

            ☀️ Colossians 1:9-15

9 - And so, from the first day we heard, we’ve not stopped praying for you! Asking that you be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And to walk worthily in the Lord, fully pleasing to him, and fruitful in every good work, while {forever} increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 And strengthened with all his glorious might and power, for endurance and patience, with joy. {During this unavoidable contrast gotten over with first, a ‘quick’ one&done for all.}

     12 Giving thanks to the Father, the one having qualified you [hikanoΓ³ - made you sufficient, qualified, enabled you] to share in the light and radiant inheritance of the saints [hagios - holy, sacred, set apart] {but “not yet perfected” Heb.11:40}. 13 For he has delivered us from the domain of darkness! He has transplanted us into the kingdom of his beloved Son.

     14 It is in the Son [Jesus] that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins [hamartia - missing the mark]. 15 He is the firstborn of all creation, and the image [eikΓ³n - image, likeness, representation, replication] of the invisible God. Amen.

     [“EikαΉ“n assumes a prototype, of which it not merely resembles, but from which it is drawn (R. Trench) (eikαΉ“n) then is more than a ‘shadow’ rather it’s a replication (F. F. Bruce)” - from biblehub dot com, interlinear link to the original word.] {The only straight out from God one. Father and Son are so close that both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, the same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity, Rev.21:3,5, Eph.1:10, 1Cor.15:22,28.}

            πŸŒ™ Matthew 20:1-16

1 - “For the kingdom of heaven” Jesus said, “is like a master of a house going out early in the morning to hire laborers to work in his vineyard. 2 And after agreeing with the workers for a denarius a day, he sends them out into the field.

     3 Then later, around the third hour he sees others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 so he tells them, ‘Go and work in the vineyard too, and I’ll pay you what’s fair.’ 5 So they go.

     And then again later, at about the sixth hour, and also the ninth hour, he does the same. 6 And even at the eleventh hour he goes out and finds others standing idle. And says to them, ‘Why are you standing here idle all day?’ 7 And they answer, ‘Because no one has hired us!’ So he tells them, as well, to go and work in the vineyard.

     8 And when evening comes, the owner of the vineyard says to the foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ 9 And when those hired at about the eleventh hour come, each of them receive a denarius. 10 Now when those who were hired first come, they think they will receive more. But each of them receive a denarius as well. 11 And on receiving it they grumble at the master of the house, 12 and they say, ‘These last worked only one hour! And you’ve  paid them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day, and the scorching heat!’

     13 But he will answer them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take now what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last one as I’ve given to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with my own money? Or do you despise my generosity?’ 16 So many who are last shall be first, and many who are first will be last.”

10-29 - 1 Corinthians 3 16-23

scriptures paraphrased to post

   πŸ•Š️a reading & study πŸ•Š️

16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? {Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44?} 17 If anyone ruins God's temple {with bad/misleading teaching} God will ruin them! For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

     18 Let no one deceive theirself. If anyone among you thinks they are wise in this day and age, let them become a fool {to the world’s ways and views} that they may be genuinely wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is folly. For it’s written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows their thoughts, that they’re futile.” {Empty and pointless.} 21 So let no one boast in man. For all things are common among you {!the true communism is spiritual, with GOD, as the administrator. Father and Son (only straight out from God one) are so close, both administer God’s Spirit/Presence.. same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity.} 22 So whether Paul, Apollos or Peter or the world or life or death or the present or the future. All is yours, 23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

10-26 - 1 Corinthians 2 7-16

scriptures paraphrased to post

   πŸ•Š️a reading & study πŸ•Š️

7 But we speak of God’s wisdom, as a mystery hidden, but ordained by God for our {mankind’s ultimate} glory and honor. 8 The rulers and leaders of the age don’t understand this, for if they did, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.

     9 But! As it’s written, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, nor any heart of man imagined, that is what God has prepared for those who love him”. 10 And these things God has revealed to us through his Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything. Even the depths of God! 11 For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the things freely given to us by him. 13 And we speak this in words not taught by human wisdom, but taught by the Spirit{/Presence of God} for interpreting spiritual truths, to those who are spiritual.

14 The natural person doesn’t accept the things of God’s Spirit, for they sound like foolishness because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person is able to judge/discern all things, against such there’s no judgment. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the LORD so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. {Which is the mind that discerns all things.}

scriptures paraphrased to post

   πŸ•Š️a reading & study πŸ•Š️

19 - Is it not written, “I will destroy the wisdom [sophia] of the wise? I will frustrate the intelligence [syneton - (the) mental putting together] of the intelligent.” 20 Where are the wise? Where the scribes? Where the debaters of the age? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of the world?! {Can ye not see it?} 21 Since God knew the world would not know him through human insight, God was pleased through the foolishness [mΓ³ria - absurdity, foolishness, from moros, folly] of the good news proclamation to save those believing. 22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified {strong enough image to appease the human conscience, every conscience} foolishness to the nations, and a stumbling block to Jews (Hebrews) 24 but to those who are called (out) whether Jew or Greek, Christ is the power and the wisdom of God. {Christ works! He is “the seed” God plants in us.. and waters and feeds it to maturity. Consistently yielding to him - a ‘whole burnt sacrifice’ can’t hurt.} 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than man [anthropos] and the weakness [asthenΓ©s - frailty, weakness] of God is stronger than man. {Waay so!! ..A vast universe perfectly balanced.. “the earth hanging upon nothing” Job 26:7.}

James 1 1-8

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️  reading & study  πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

09/01 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

(One of the first letters ..which we have.) 1 - From James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ (Likely this James is Jesus’ natural brother who became a serious disciple and apostle after Jesus’ 1-death, 2-burial and 3-resurrection [1-Passover, 2-Unleavened Bread, 3-Firstfruits - the ancient Spring holy days fulfilled. Pentecost - ‘church’ age. Then Fall holy days to be fulfilled, Lev.23, Rev.20-told like describing only the crests of waves.])

     To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings.

2 Count it all joy, my brothers and sisters when trials of various kinds come upon you! 3 For you know the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and stability. {Tested like steel in the forge of life. Life as we presently know it, the crucible, laver, sieve, which continues until one of two - written about - vivifications, but the second is not usually understood? The first, at the Lord’s return, the second at the “behold I make all new” - greek word “pas” all, but translated, all things, at Rev.21:1-5.} 4 And let stability and steadfastness have its full effect! So that you may be made perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. {Even Jesus was tempered.}

     5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let them ask God. For he gives generously to all - without reproach - and it will be given to them. 6 But let them ask in faith, without doubting, for to doubt is to be like a wave of the sea that is tossed about by the various winds. 7 And then that one cannot suppose they will receive. {Faith, believing, expectation is the ground wire of “receiving”?} 8 They are being double-minded and therefore unstable in their ways. {Remember the father of a afflicted son? Who cried “help Lord my unbelief!”

     The scripture is a treasure trove of riddles. We will never understand its Glorious message if we are doubtfuL? For doubt stands in the way. Blocks “the way”.}

 πŸ•Š️ Today’s GospeL Verses ~ Mark 13:14-18

[Jesus continues.] 14 - “And when you see the abomination, the desolation standing where (it) ought not, let the reader understand, then let the/those in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down nor enter their house to take anything, 16 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take their cloak. 17 And alas for women who are with child (pregnant) and for those nursing infants in those days! 18 Pray it not happen in winter.”

                ~ 1 Corinthians 2:1-6 ~

1 - And I, when I (Paul) was with you, I didn’t tell the message of God with excellence of speech and lofty wisdom. 2 No, I knew nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in humility, respect, and even in weakness. 4 My words and my message were not in skillful [peithos - persuasive, enticing, skilful] words of wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit(/Presence of God) and of his power, 5 so your faith might not rest upon the ‘wisdom’ of man, but upon the power of God.

     6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom. But it’s not wisdom of this world, nor of the leaders of this age and times, which is all passing away. (Truth is and does not change like the world which is in a progressing state of passing away. Life as we presently know it is dust to dust.. It is all disintegrating, the process of entropy. And it’s the spiritual process as well. Collective and individual. Self interest goes on the back burner. Paradoxically, we’re not in our best blueprint, but God has it, for he is faithful. Be a “whole burnt sacrifice”. Because it is this life that is the crucible. And “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10. But it’s an imperative message, truth. It is no light matter. It iS a complete matter of Life, or not life. So why entropy? Because God is Life, and he “is perfect”. Therefor the “wages/result of hamartia - missing the mark, is” the opposite of Life. The prize is enduring life. (And our best blueprint.) The way there is narrow. But when we are there - which requires Perfection - the way is way wide.

     Where does the door of the ten bridesmaids parable really go? Mt.25:1-13

Rev.7:9,4; Ro.11:12; 1Cor.15:51; Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:13-16. Rev.20 is like describing the crests of waves and not much in between.) [And there are words that were changed through translation.]

1 - And I, when I (Paul) was with you, I didn’t come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or (hidden only to the special) wisdom. 2 No, for I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in humility and weakness, and in much trembling, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit(/Presence of God) and of power. 5 So your faith might not rest upon the (so called) wisdom of humans but in the power of God.

           Luke 7:24-35

24 After John’s messengers left, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about him, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? Was it a reed swayed by the wind? 25 A man dressed in fine clothes? People who wear expensive clothes and live in luxury are in the king's palace. 26 Were you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more than a prophet. 27 This is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before you, who will prepare the way for you. 28 I tell you, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of God is greater than he is. 29 All the people, including tax collectors! heard John. They admitted God was right, evidenced by letting John baptize them. 30 But! The Pharisees and experts in religious law rejected God’s plan for them, refusing John’s baptism. 31 To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other, ‘We played the pipe for you! And you didn’t dance!We sang a dirge, and you didn’t cry.’ 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ 34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard! A friend of tax collectors and sinners!’” 35 (And looking out over the people, he said)  “But justified is wisdom! By all the children of her.” [Her - autos - he, she, it, they, them, same.]

       ~ Hebrews 11:22-33 ~

22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure [exodus] of the children of Israel from Egypt. So he told them to take his bones with them. 23 It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s command. 24 It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of Egypt. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. [Another version - “because he saw He who is invisible”.] 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest the destroying of the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to pursue, they were all drowned. 30 It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down. 31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient. 32 How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. 33 By faith these people overthrew kingdoms! Ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions!
