   08/05 - GospeL Verses

26 - After the storm, they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is on the opposite shore from Galilee. 27 When Jesus stepped out onto land, there met him a man from the city who had many demons. For a long time he hadn’t lived in a house, but lived among the tombs, and he wore no clothing. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him, saying in a loud voice, “What have you to do with me! Jesus, you son of the Most High God! I beg of you! Don’t torment me!” 29 For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and he was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles. But he would break the bonds and be driven by his demons into the wilderness.

30 Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for it was many demons which had entered into him. 31 And they begged him not to order them into the abyss.

32  A large herd of pigs were feeding on a nearby hillside, so they begged him to let them enter the pigs. And so he let them, 33 and the demons came rushing out of the man and into the pigs, and the herd ran down the steep bank and into the lake and were drowned.

34 Now when the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran and told everyone in the countryside and in the city. 35 So people went out to see what had happened, and when they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at his feet, clothed and in his right mind. And it made them afraid! 36 And those who saw what had happened told them how all that had happened. 37 Then the people asked Jesus to leave, for they were under great fear. So he got into the boat and returned to the other side. 38 The man from whom the demons had gone had wanted to go with him, but Jesus said, 39 “Go home, and tell everyone how much God has done for you.” And so he went away, telling throughout the whole region what Jesus had done for him.

     07/08 - GospeL Verses

21 - Jesus, with his disciples, went into Capernaum, and on the Sabbath went into the synagogue and was teaching. 22 The people were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one {very learned} who had authority, and not as the scribes.

23 There was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 “What have you to do with us!? Jesus of Nazareth! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.” 25 But Jesus said, “Be silent, and come out of him!” 26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out. 27 And they were all amazed, and questioned among theirselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!” 28 And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.

29 Then he left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 Immediately they told him Simon's mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, 31 so he came and took her by the hand, helped her up, and the fever left her. Then she got up and began to make a meal for them.

32 That same evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons. 33 So many, the whole city was gathered together at the door! 34 And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons and would not let them speak, because they knew who he was.

   WeeKly BooK oF Revelation  ⭐️

                paraphrased study

[2Thessalonians 1:8,7 - “…when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in a fire of flame, inflicting [didΓ³mi - to give - in various senses lit. or fig. includes allowing, yielding, granting, pouring, permitting] vengeance [ekdikΓ©sis - vengeance, vindication, defense, avenging, pay back, “full” and “complete” punishment] on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. (The culmination of history. Conclusion and end of the story, Mt.13:30 - “Let both” - the wheat and the tares, psuedo wheat, which we all were - “grow together until the harvest, and at the harvest I will tell the reapers, ‘Gather the weeds first, and bind them in - bundles - to be burned, and then gather the wheat into my barn.” And Revelation 16:14,16 - “..demons performing signs ..to the kings of earth gathering them for battle.. and assembled them at Armageddon” (Gehenna Valley).

Rev.11:15 - And the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our LORD and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sit on thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, “We give thanks to you! Lord God Almighty! Who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. 18 The nations raged” (Ps.2 and 2nd horseman of the apocalypse and 2nd seal/element of the age) “but your wrath came. [Wrath - orgΓ© - wrath, vengeance, from orgÑō, "to teem, swelling up to oppose, a fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against, a settled indignation.] (Imo, his wrath is cause and effect, “his” wrath because it is HE who created a cause and effect universe. Consequences, life as we presently know it, this all important contrast and gehenna crucible, that flares up into judgments, results, versus creation as an ant farm.) And the time [kairos - time, season] came for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and to destroy [diaphtheirΓ³ - from dia - intensive, through and through, and diaphthorΓ‘ - thorough decay] those destroying earth.” (Imo, spiritually destroying.) 19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened (I always think split, the word anoigΓ³, does include broken, open). And the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and great hail.

(Isaiah 24:20) - the higher and faster moisture rises, the larger and greater the hail. And surely(?) it is thermonuclear lightning.. rumbling and thunder.. “seven thunders”? Counting the first occurrence which was Rev. 13:13 in the third telling of the vision - but the occurrence pinpointed an office, not yet an individual. Which was also the first seal six occurrence, but it’s veiled by the seals being described at the beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects, first to very last. This also veils much of the entire vision. Kudos to any understanding any of us has had! — Next week we begin the second telling of the vision, which is Revelation chapter 12. All three end, and rejoin, at the 7th trumpet’s sounding.. “The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our LORD and of his Christ.”

GospeL Verses ~ Luke 9:1-9

1 - Jesus called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over demons and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. 3 And he told them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff or bag, no bread or money, and no second tunics. 4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, until you leave. 5 And wherever they don’t receive you, when you leave that town shake the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 And so they went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing.

7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was puzzled, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead, 8 by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had risen. 9 Herod said, “John I beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see him.

                ~ 1John 2:23-29 ~

23 - Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father. But whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning stay with you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you - will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us, enduring life.

26 I write these things to you because there are those who are trying to mislead you. 27 But if the anointing of him that you received abides in you, then you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true. And so it is no lie - just as it has taught you - abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink back from him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

11 - But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent, one not built by man, that is not of this world, 12 he entered once for all into the holy place, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus having obtained an eternal redemption. 13 For if the sprinkling of the blood of goats and bulls, and ashes of a heifer sanctified and purified, 14 how much more the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself (a lamb) without blemish, purify our conscience, from dead works to serve the living God.

          Luke 8:26-39

26 Jesus and his disciples sailed across Lake Galilee and came to shore near the town of Gerasa. 27 As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons (angels gone rogue) came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in the tombs outside of town. 28 As soon as he saw Jesus, he shrieked and fell down in front of him. Then he screamed, “Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please, I beg you not to torment me!” 29 For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and been driven by the demon into solitary places.

30 Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered him. 31 And they begged him not to banish them to the abyss. 32 A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. So the demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and Jesus let them go. 33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. 34 When the herdsmen saw it, they fled to the nearby town and the surrounding countryside, spreading the news as they ran. 35 People rushed out to see what had happened. A crowd soon gathered around Jesus, and they saw the man who had been freed from the demons. He was sitting at Jesus’ feet, fully clothed and perfectly sane, and this frightened them. 36 Then all who had seen the man healed told about it. 37 But fear still swept through them, and they asked Jesus to leave their territory, so he got into the boat and started back. 38 The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying, 39 "Go back home and tell everyone how much God has done for you." The man then went all over town, telling everything that Jesus had done for him.

          ~ 1 John 1:1-4 ~

(Written by John, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples, now an old man.)

1 - We (apostles and other disciples/followers) proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, which we heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word [logos - reasoning expressed in words] (so also Truth expressed in Jesus, the word) of life. [Jesus is called “the first/proto” among other things, he’s the prototype.. Only straight out from God one, so close both Father and Son can administer God’s Spirit/Presence. He is also called “the seed” which God is implanting in all. ..How else to have genuinely able to think and reason beings - both angelos (accelerators of this all playing out) and anthropos (mankind) - aNd keep paradise/perfection intact? As thinking includes at least some power of choice.] 2 The life appeared. And we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life (perfection embodied) which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We are telling you what we have seen and heard, so you may share in this life with us. And we share in it (our friendship is) with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write, so that our own joy might be complete!

As A Used To Be Astrologer..

I find it hard to remain silent if I see a glaring untruth or its byproduct, bigotry (being built). As a used to be astrologer, I can still see trends, movements, energies.. but now as a Christian I see them as entities, those ancient pitiless 'gods'. Maybe that's why ancient astrology was seen as being for politics!
