Hebrews 9:15-20  Mark 1:35-39

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 9:15-20

15 - Jesus, therefore, is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the enduring inheritance that is promised, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. {Author is Hebrew through and through..? Apollo? Or studied Pharisee Paul?} 16 For where a will {and testament} is involved, there has to be the death of the one who made the will. 17 For a will takes effect only at death. It’s not in force as long as the one who made it is still alive. 18 Therefore not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood. {The most solemn nonreversible pledge, promise, guarantee.. Old world notarizing. Un-breakable. A blood oath.}  19 For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, 20 saying, “This is the blood of the agreement that God has commanded concerning you.”

35 -  And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he went out to a lonely place to pray. [“Be still, and know I am God” Ps.46:10. He is. And thAt is fantastic news indeed!! Hello!? ..We are currently entropic, not immortal. So yes, good news indeed.]

     36 Simon (Peter) and those who were with him searched for him, 37 and when they found him, they told him, “Everyone is looking for you.” 38 But he said, “Let’s go on to the next towns, so I may preach there also, for this is why I came.”

     39 And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and casting out demons.

     {Demons are rogue angels [messengers] lying spirits. How to determine true from not, or not quite true? Jesus prayed “Father sanctify them in the Truth, thy logos is Truth” Jn.17:17, boTh the personified logos and the written logos. Logos - reasoning (God’s reasoning.) With language tools! Because translators were under sway of an ancient falsehood.. And some disbelief. Logos is the root word of Logic! Just a very few bad word translations have robbed the message of a good part of its GLORY.

     And we are robbed if we let our heart be hardened against the written logos, or even to the Old Testament. God’s voice has to speak to the worst, most barbaric, and cruelly heartless, not just to the ‘saints’ (if there were any saints, lol, as we think of the word). And pre flood was hands off. And 1st proof - that imperfect is an abyss of potential.. and entropy, “which doesn’t quit”. So “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10 (Jn.12:32). Death is a waiting for resurrection, either “into life” (into long second advent) or into “aionion kolasis” / eonian korrection / age of correction, Jn.5:28,29 and Mt.25:46.}

Hebrews 8:1-10  John 2:1-12

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 8:1-10

1 - What we are saying is this, we have a high priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the majestic one on high. 2 And he is a minister in the holy place. In the true tent!  (Of worship, union.) One the LORD prepared and built, and not man. 3 For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices. And so it’s necessary for this priest also to have something to offer. 4 Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law. 5 They serve a copy and a shadow, a replica of the real thing. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.” {Creation, space, time, prophecy, is repeating pattern. Prophecy repeats until fullness and full scope, including the two advents. Note: the fibonacci spiral, dna, the universe, greek kosmos..}

     6 Now the new ministry (of Jesus) and the new agreement {between us and God - the faith of Jesus} is more excellent than the old, since it’s enacted on better promises. 7 For if the first covenant (agreement, contract, vows taken) had hit the mark, being able and sufficient to make one perfect, it would not have been necessary for a second. {God iS life and “is perfect” so imperfect is this entropy.. “the flower fades”.. All fades ..away. The Good News is resurrection. There will be two resurrections, how do we know? Because the one at Jesus’ return is called a “first resurrection”, and Revelation 20 briefly describes the second. ..The chapter’s told like describing just the crests of waves. Once we know that, we can see quite a lot in that chapter! After the 7th millennium - the “kosmos” having big banged (via God’s speaking/word into what it is, and then it was put into its motion - there has to be an “8th” millennium (a collective, spiritual “8th day” do you see the pattern? 1st outline, the week plus 1). Rev.20 says, during that 8th millennium, first Satan (&Co.) is let loose. And he goes out to the four ‘corners’ of Earth and gathers the people to another armageddon. Who? Who does he gather? And how long does it take? It seems to me there had to have been natural survivors of armageddon/war and apocalypse/crash. And they had children and so forth on through the 7th millennium, which was a Sabbath rest from the adversary/accelerant.

     This brings us to a second outline. One within the other.. like the wheel within wheels on God’s ?traveling throne? (Original word means seat.) ..Described in Ezekiel.. and Jeremiah? I have to get back to the prophets soon..

     This second outline is the Spring and Fall holy days of Leviticus 23, as the Lord’s two advents. (Of course! Right?) If you examine it, you’ll see how long the satanic gathering to another armageddon takes.

     It’s at that point - the 2nd armageddon - that there is the second of three mentions of a lake of fire. Each one being at a fiery event. This one is the fiery final defeat of the adversary. First mention is at the first armageddon (Is.24:20/Rev.10:4) and the last mention is at the fiery “palin(again)genesis” when God says “Behold! I make all new” Rev.21:5. Which brings us to the second resurrection. In this verse (Rev.21:5) “all” has been changed into “all things”. By just a very few errors of translation, the message has been.. corrupted. Although! Throwing out the baby/bible with the bath water.. and oh man, what gets missed! Within and without! Another pattern.}

     {The first covenant, called the Laws of Moses - is society preservative. Preparation for Messiah. And still Truth today.. yet the Lord said (for example) it’s not only good enough, to not murder {lol} but don’t despise our fellow person and neighbor. ..That’s part of the satanic gathering(s) to armageddon!}

     8 For he finds fault with them when he says, “Look, the days are coming” declares the LORD, “when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 9 not like the one I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand, and brought them out of the land of Egypt. (And 400 years of slavery.) For they didn’t honor my covenant, and so I showed to them no concern” says the LORD. {Shield of his Spirit/Presence worn thin.. All humanity will be “grafted into Israel” - you see why Israel is despised? Not that they’re perfect.. No nation is.}

     10 For this is the covenant/agreement/vow/union I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD, I will plant {to remain} my laws into their minds, and write them upon their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” {Ultimately, all humanity as Israel. Believers are “grafted into” ..like one would graft beautiful branches into a big old olive tree.}

1 - Three days later (after Jesus’ baptism) there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Jesus also was invited to the wedding along with his (few, four?) disciples. 3 When they ran out of wine, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They’ve run out of wine.” 4 And he said, “Woman  {Mom? lol} what does that have to do with me? My hour hasn’t come yet (for doing miracles, etc)..” 5 His mother said to the workers, “Do whatever he tells you.”

     6 There were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rite of purification, each one able to hold twenty or thirty gallons. 7 So Jesus said, “Fill the jars with water.”

     And they filled them up to the brim.  {To the brim! We are vessels for the “new wine”!} 8 Then he said, “Draw some out and take it to the master of the wedding feast.”

     And so they did. 9 And when the master of the wedding party tasted the water turned to wine, and didn’t know where it came from, though the ones who had drawn the water knew, the master of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 and he said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first! And when people have drank freely, then they serve the inferior wine! But you’ve kept the best wine until last!” {A bit of metaphor and prophecy here too.}

     11 This, at Cana in Galilee, was the first of the signs Jesus did, revealing his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

     12 After this he went down to Capernaum, with his mother, brothers and disciples, and they stayed there for a few days.

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 7:18-24

18 - For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and inability. 19 For the-law-makes-nothing-perfect. {Its purpose is to define imperfect? And to produce a place for Messiah to begin.}

     But a better hope [elpis - *expectation*] is revealed - *through which we draw near to God*. 20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without an oath. 21 but he became a priest with an oath, when God said to him: “The LORD has sworn, and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever [eis hé aión - for the age].” {Oath - ISAIAH 45:23 - “I have sworn by myself” (because there is nothing higher to swear by). “The word [dabar - word, matter, thing, speech, command, promise] is gone out of my mouth in righteousness. It shall not turn back.” (Remember, he spoke creation into as is …(then set it in motion.) “Unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear [shaba - swear, take an oath, vow; related to sheba or shibah - seven, seventh, seven times — completion, solemn and binding oath.]

     [From biblehub dot com - “God had completed His work that He had done, and He rested on the seventh day” Gen.2:2. Seven is the pattern of time and creation. Everything that follows, Sabbath, sabbatical years, Jubilee, echoes this inaugural pattern of work crowned by rest and blessing.”]

     22 What this means is Jesus is the guarantor [egguos - surety, pledge, guarantee] of a better covenant. 23 The former priests were many, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but because of the abiding of him for the age permanent he holds the priesthood. (The verse word for word.)

23 - Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years old, being the son, as was supposed, of Joseph, the son of Heli..  24 - 36 …37 the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan, 38 the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. {Notice, son of God as first/proto.}

     Lk.4:1 - And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit {Presence of God} returned from the Jordan River and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness 2 for forty days.

     And the devil came to tempt him. Jesus ate nothing during those days, and when they were ending, he was hungry 3 and the devil said to him, “If you’re the Son of God, command this stone to become bread!” 4 But Jesus answered, “It’s written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’”

     5 And the devil took him up and in a moment of time, showed him all the kingdoms of the world, 6 and said to him, “I will give to you all this authority, and their glory, for it’s been delivered to me, and I give it to whoever I will.” {Hijacked! Confiscated! ..Actually engineered for this ‘quick’ one&done, all important, unavoidable contrast. Devil as accelerator.} 7 “And if you will worship me, it will all be yours!”

     8 And Jesus answered, “It’s written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and him, only, shall you serve.’”

     9 And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said, “If you’re the Son of God, throw yourself down! 10 For it’s written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,’ 11 and ‘on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”

     12 And Jesus answered, “It’s also written, ‘You shall not put the LORD your God to the test.’” 13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until a later opportune time. {Truth - is the shield and sword, “thy word is truth” Jn.17:17.}

     14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being approved of by all.

☀️ 23 - For I’ve passed on to you what I (Paul) have received from the Lord. That the Lord Jesus during the night he was betrayed took bread, 24 gave thanks, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” {Broken for you.}

     25 In the same way, he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, when you eat and drink in remembrance of me.” {Human delicate psyche appeased and Father’s sincerity sealed/proven.}

     26 For as often as you do this, you proclaim the Lord's death until he returns. 27 So whoever should eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord unworthily will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine their self, and then eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discernment eats and drinks to judgment {fruit, results} upon their own self. {Now there’s an important metaphor. And it’s best not to pollute the body of Christ - any believer/anybody - with bad teachings. As ultimately, all humanity, as his body.. Filled up! God then, “all, in all” 1Cor.15:28. And the three “all things” in verse 27 should also read “all”. As all five are the greek word “pas” - “all, every, the whole, every part of”. Humanity (in Christ and Christ fully digested in us) & all creation “sealed”/in union with/saturated with God’s Spirit/Presence.. Thus all with character clear as crystal. Which character proceeds from, and is sustained by God. He iS Life. 1Cor.15:22-28 w/ Mt.13:33, key word 3.}

21 - Tell me (Paul wrote) - you who desire to be under the law, do you listen to the law? 22 For it’s written that Abraham had two sons. One by a slave woman, and one by a free woman. (On in years Sarah insisted, due to lack of faith.) 23 But the son of the slave was born according to the flesh/natural, while the son of the free woman was born through a promise. {Which started in Eden, which all peoples took memories, and a version of, from the dispersion from Babel Tower. And God had promised a son to Abraham, but they became elderly.} 24 Now this may be interpreted allegorically {though it’s still literal, js} these women are two covenants/contracts/agreements/treaties. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children in slavery {to the law, for they are imperfect and the ten laws especially, are society preservative} that covenant is Hagar, the slave woman. 25 And Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia (from where the laws were given to Moses who gave them to the tribes/nation) and is the present Jerusalem. For she is held in slavery with her children. {Held in bondage, a slave condition, because imperfect cannot ever make itself perfect.} 26 But the Jerusalem from above is free! And it is she who is our mother! 27 For it’s written, “Rejoice, O desolate one who has not borne any children, break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor!      28 Now you, like Isaac, are children of the promise. 29 But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh/natural (Ishmael) persecuted the one who was born according to the Spirit. So also it is now. 30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman, meaning the covenant, and her offspring, for the son (covenant) of the slave woman shall not (cannot) inherit with the son (Jesus) of the free woman/covenant/treaty/AGREEMENT.” 31 So, we are not of the slave woman (treaty) but of the free woman (treaty)! {The agreement oF promise; a gift, “received by faith/believing and thus we follow. Our “communion” and filling “is with the Father and the Son” onLy straight out from God one - so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. And “God is Love”. 16 - The promises were made to Abraham and his offspring. God didn’t say to Abraham, “And to your offsprings,” as though meaning many, but - “to your offspring” - referring to one. And that one, is Christ.

     17 What I mean is this - the law, which came 430 years later, doesn’t cancel a covenant/contract/agreement/guarantee, previously ratified by God, so as to annul the promise. 18 For if the inheritance comes by the law, then it’s no longer by promise.

     But God gave the promise {gave his word} to Abraham by a promise [epaggelia - a summons, promise, from epí - upon, appropriate, and aggellō - announce – a promise which literally announces what is fitting, epaggelía is a legal term that refers to an “officially sanctioned promise”]. {Fitting because it’s the “one way” that works.}

     19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgression [parabasis - a going aside, from pará - contrary, and bainō - go – properly, an overstepping, a deliberate going over the line and transgression] {wrong-doing, doing wrong/what cannot ever work, being false, not of Truth, built on sand. Added to show right from wrong. The Ten Commandments (etc) are society preserving}.

     The law was added, until the offspring should come to whom, and about whom, the promise was made. The law was put in place through angels, and by an mediator. (Which mediator was Moses.) 20 Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement.

     But God didn’t use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham. {HE said it. HE will do it.}

     21 Does the law then contradict the promises God has made? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that can impart life, then indeed, righteousness would come about from the law. {There’s only one source of Life. And Father God has ordained it be given and maintained through his Son, only straight out from God one. So close, both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. Saturation will equal “sealed”. 🕊️⛲️

      How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact? (Sealed.)

     Because God is Life and “is perfect” mt.5:48, imperfect is entropy, which “doesn’t quit” so “God is savior of all, especially” (& currently) “those who believe” 1Tim.4:10. Eight millennial ‘days’ = one and done. Jn.12:32.}

{When all is done and completed under the covenant works of God}11 - “They shall not teach each one their neighbor and each one their brother or sister, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins [hamartia - missing the mark] no more.”

     13 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete, old and fading is ready to vanish away.

     9:1 - Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly place of holiness. 2 For a tent was prepared, the first section, called the Holy Place, in which were the lampstand, the table and the bread of the Presence. 3 And behind the second curtain was a second section, which is called the Most Holy Place, 4 and in it is the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, Aaron's staff that budded, and the tablets of the (first, hamartia revealing) covenant. 5 Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. But of these things we cannot now speak in detail. {The cherubim, a likeness of an around the throne cherubim/seraphim, also called a “covering angel”? Of which Satan was one?? ..Some covering angels of animals of Eden joined the sedition? As God foresaw, and having waited patiently for first bound to occur rebel thought to occur and mature, so that all take this unavoidable journey all together at once.}

1 - As Jesus was teaching the people in the temple and proclaiming the good news [euaggelízō - from eú - good, well, and angellō - announce, herald(ing) the good message] the chief priests, scribes and some elders (leaders, authorities) came up 2 and said to him, “Tell us by what authority are you doing these things, or who it is that gave you this authority!” (To teach, and turn over the seller’s tables.) 3 He answered them, “I’ll ask you a question. Tell me, 4 was the baptism of John from heaven or from man?” 5 So they discussed it with one another, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he’ll say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’ 6 But if we say, ‘From man,’ the people will stone us, for they are convinced John was a prophet.” 7 So they answered that they didn’t know where it came from. 8 And Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

     9 And he began to tell the people a parable, “A man planted a vineyard and he let it out to tenants and then he went into another country for quite a while.10 When harvest came, he sent a servant (worker) to the tenants, so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard.                 ~ Galatians 4:21-31 ~

21 - Tell me (Paul) - you who desire to be under the law, do you listen to the law? 22 For it’s written Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and one by a free woman. (On in years Sarah insisted, due to lack of faith.) 23 But the son of the slave was born according to the flesh/natural, while the son of the free woman was born through a promise. (Which started in Eden, which all peoples took memories, and a version of, from the dispersion from First Tower/Babel Tower. And God promised a son to Abraham, but now they were elderly.) 24 Now this may be interpreted allegorically (though it is still literal) these women are two covenants/contracts/agreements/treaties. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children in slavery, she is Hagar. 25 Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia (from where the society preservative laws were given) and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. (Held in bondage, a slave condition, because imperfect cannot ever make itself perfect.) 26 But the Jerusalem above is free! And it is she who is our mother! 27 For it’s written, “Rejoice, O barren one who has not borne, break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the other.”

     28 Now you, like Isaac, are children of the promise. 29 But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh/natural persecuted the one who was born according to the Spirit. So also it is now. 30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman/covenant and her offspring, for the son (covenant) of the slave woman shall not (cannot) inherit with the son (Jesus) of the free woman.” 31 So, we are not of the slave woman (covenant) but of the free woman! (Covenant oF promise; a gift, “received by faith/believing and thus following. Our “communion” and filling “is with the Father and the Son - so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. And “God is Love”. And “love works no ill” and also, “never fails” 1Cor.13. 1Jn.4:8.)

1 - Jesus began again to teach. He was beside the sea and a very large crowd had gathered around him, so he got into a boat that was anchored there, and sat, while the crowd was there beside the sea. 2 And as usual he was teaching them using parables. 3 “Listen!” he said, “Behold, a sower went out to scatter his seed. 4 And as he did so, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it all up. 5 Some other seed fell on rocky ground, where there wasn’t much soil, and it quickly sprang up. 6 But when the sun rose upon it, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. 7 Some of the other seed fell among thorns and thistles, which grew up and choked it, and so it yielded no grain. 8 But some other seed fell into good soil and it grew and produced grain, growing tall and increasing, and yielded thirtyfold, sixtyfold and even a hundredfold.” 9 And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

15 - See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God, so that no root of bitterness will spring up and cause trouble. For by it many may become corrupted. 16 No one should be sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal! 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he couldn’t, for he found no chance to change the past, though he sought it with tears.      18 But you (under the New Testament agreement/contract that is signed in blood - because it has to reach eveRy psyche) you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and is burning with fiery flames, to darkness, gloom and stormy tempest, 19 with the sound of a trumpet and a voice and words that made the listeners beg that no further word be spoken to them. 20 For they could not endure it, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” (Thermonuclear type contagion?) 21 Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that even Moses said, “I tremble with fear!” 22 But you - You have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels. 23 To the festal gathering and assembly/crowd of the firstborn being enrolled in heaven, and to God judge of all and all the  spirits of the righteous being perfected, 24 and to Jesus, mediator of the new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better message than the blood of Abel. (Which cried out to God.. for response, as it should. Which is the first truth proving covenant, that brought us to court. But the cross pardons - paid in full. Yet we learn the crime was not acceptable, can never work. ..Paradise/perfection, and humanity, God’s family, is being built to endure.)

The Bread and The Wine

Quiet reading, contemplation and prayer time is absolutely necessary if one is to make any progress in the spiritual/christian life. The spirit man/woman cannot grow without nourishment. And our nourishment is the Bread and the Wine. Jesus said it on the very evening before he was crucified (executed in our place, declaring and making us innocent). And remember Melchizedek? Giving Abraham bread and wine? Man/Woman "shall not live on bread alone, but upon every word from God".. And Jesus is our new wine for he gives us the Holy Spirit.. Fresh and new, not sour and old.. Human thoughts are like strands.. Like jumbled thoughts piled willy nilly atop one another.. Tangled questions and negatives left over from rushing hither and yon and helter skelter. Our "High Priest" is the only one who can untangle the knots. Quiet reading, contemplation and prayer time is how we draw close to God and attune ourselves to the peaceful quietness of His Spirit and Presence, so that we are in him, and he is in us. We have one rule to live by. Love God. Consciously loving God (praising, worshiping God) opens us up to the stream of God and His Spirit and Presence flowing into and through us. This is called "waiting upon God" and resting in his "finished work". This is the new covenant (contract) with God. And it is all received "by faith" from beginning to end. It's grace, and it's the only system that works. For it releases the POWER of God. "There's none good but God." Jesus said. That means all good, all transforming power, self improvement, comes only from God. No amount of human striving "to be good" will cut it. You see God is "all in all". He's Life and He's Perfection. Ultimately he's the only dimension, the only reality, and all will be an eternal un-breakable paradise. Anyone coming along and saying you must follow this rule, or follow that rule (usually having to do with foods and days of worship) "have fallen from grace"! "God is Love" - fill ourselves with Him - "Love works no ill" .."does no harm". If we fill ourselves with God, we will not cheat others, steal, hurt, etc, etc. Every day is a day of worship. He "is the vine, we are the branches". When we wait, by reading, contemplation and prayer, if he should seem to delay showing up, we simply continue expectant, unruffled and peaceful "waiting upon God". Fully expectant, and knowing.. Keep waiting. He will show up (become apparent to us). Absolutely guaranteed.
