     From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

13 - Who is wise and understanding among you? By their good conduct [anastrophΓ© - conduct, behavior, manner of life] let them show their works [ergon - work, deed, action, task, labor {energy?}] and their faithfulness, in the wisdom of humility.

     14 But beloveds, if you have rivalry, self interest and ambition in your hearts, don’t boast, while being unfaithful to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic {serpentine, of the world}. 16 For where rivalry [zelos - to boil] envy and self interest is, there will be disorder/chaos and every worthless [phaulos- evil, worthless, bad, base] thing. 17 But the wisdom that comes from above is pure and peaceable. Gentle, and reasonable. Full of kindness and good fruits. Also is impartial [adiakritos - without partiality {moderate}] and sincere. {Genuine, real.}

     18 A harvest of goodness is reaped by those who sow peacefuLLy and make peace.

Tomorrows verses - James 4:1-6

My own studies, had to paraphrase to post.. which has turned out to be an interesting way to ‘enter the ‘story’.

Start the day with a Psalm (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150)
