09-13 James 4 7-11

a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️  reading & study  πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

    From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

{Instead of Galatians 5:20, rivalry, etc} 7 - Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil {and the devilish}. And he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God. And he will draw near to you. Clean up your lives, you sinners! [Harmatoi - we missing the mark.] Purify your hearts, you people who can't make up your mind! 9 Grieve, mourn, and weep! Turn your laughter to mourning, and your joy to gloom! {Heartfelt remorse for any evils done and even flaws. This is not the world’s racial shaming for political advantage.} 10 Humble yourselves before the LORD, and he will lift you up! [HupsoΓ³ - to lift or raise up, uplift, lift on high, exalt] {especially during his long second advent}.

     11 Don’T speak evil against one another, brethren/brothers and sisters! {Groups to groups..? moderately left and moderately right, hell believers and hell not believers.. on and on?}

     The one who speaks against a brother or sister or judges his brother or sister, speaks evil against the truth and judges the truth. But if you judge the truth, you’re then not a doer of truth, but a judge. {Have unlawfully made yourself to be judge?}

Tomorrows verses - James 4:12-17

My own studies, had to paraphrase to post.. which has turned out to be an interesting way to ‘enter the ‘story’.

Start the day with a Psalm (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150)
