paraphrased ‘enter the story’
π️reading & study π️
6 - Now we tell you, in the name of our Lord Jesus, to keep distance from a believer who’s walking in idleness and not as you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, that we were not idle when we were with you. 8 Not eating someone else’s bread without earning it. But we worked every day, that we might not be a burden to anyone. 9 It wasn’t because we don’t have that right, but to give you an example to follow. 10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this instruction - If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. {The early believers had communal meals.} 11 For we hear that some among you are walking in idleness, and with all that free time, acting as busy bodies. 12 Now such persons we boldly yet sincerely ask and encourage in the Lord Jesus, to work quietly and to earn their own living. {Leads to all wanting free ride? Thus collapse due to lack.}
13 As for you, brethren, don’t grow weary in doing good! 14 If there’s someone who doesn’t carry through with what we say in this letter, take note of that one, and avoid them. 15 Don’t regard them as an enemy! But warn them as a fellow believer in the family of God.
16 Now may the Lord of peace give you peace! At all times, and in every way. And the Lord be with you all.
17 And I, Paul, sign this letter with my own hand, the sign of genuineness in all my letters. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you all. Paul.

Tomorrow - Galatians 1:1-5
My own studies, had to paraphrase to post.. which has turned out to be an interesting way to ‘enter the ‘story’.
Start the day with a Psalm (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150)
