07-02 - From Heb-7 Lk-3 Mk-1

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 7:13-17 Luke 3:15-22 Mark 1:9-13

             ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 7:13-17

13 - The one these things are spoken about belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14 For it’s evident our Lord was descended from Judah. And about that tribe Moses didn’t say anything about priests.

     15 So this becomes even more evident when a new priest arises in the example of Melchizedek, 16 who is a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning one’s descent, but by the power of an indestructible {non-entropic} life. 17 For it is testified of him, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.” {Who seemed, by the way met, to have a non ending priesthood.}

            πŸŒ™ P.M. Luke 3:15-22, Mark 1:9-13

15 - As the people were wondering about John, whether he might be the Christ, 16 he answered them, saying, “I baptize you with water! But he who is mightier than I is coming! The strap of whose sandals I’m not worthy to untie! He’ll baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with {his} fire! {Spirit.} 17 His winnowing fork is in his hand! To clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” {Chaff is part of the wheat.. the kernal goes into his barn - “we’re the big door prize” - Jn Prine. And the chaff is blown away in the breeze.. {like what occurs during “the 8th day”. And it’s HE who has the winnowing fork! Not Satan with a pitchfork in his forever kingdom of pain, sorrow, and death, and 80% or more of all humanity.. Lol, God “is Perfect” Mt.5:48.}

     18 And with many other exhortations John proclaimed the good news to the people. 19 But Herod the tetrarch (the son of Herod the Great who had tried to destroy/devour Jesus when he was one or two years of age, Rev.12:4, the chapter is the middle of three tellings of the revelation vision - with Mt.23:39) who had been publicly scolded by John for Herodias, his brother's wife, adding to all the evil he had already done, 20 he locked John up in prison.

     21 When the people were baptized [“preparing the way before him”] and Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit {Presence of God in fullness} descended and alighted upon him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son. With you I am well pleased.”

    MARK 1:9 - In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. 10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove. 11 And there was heard a voice from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son, and with you, I am well pleased.” [“We shall be like him.”]

     12 Then the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness. 13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. {First gone rogue one. God, being Life, suffers all things, and endowed thinking and reasoning ability to mankind and angelkind anyway! And engineered this ‘quick’ one & done contrast/proof.} And he was with the wild animals {I bet they were friendly with him} and the angels ministered to him.

15 - As the people were wondering and questioning concerning John, whether he might be the Christ, 16 John answered them, saying, “I baptize you with water! But he who is mightier than I is coming! The strap of whose sandals I’m not worthy to untie! He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with {his} fire. 17 His winnowing fork is in his hand! To clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” {Chaff is part of the wheat.. the kernal goes into his barn - “we’re the big door prize” - Jn Prine. And the chaff is blown away in the breeze.. {like what occurs during “the 8th day”. And it’s HE who has the winnowing fork, not an all powerful devil, a pitchfork in his forever kingdom of pain, sorrow, and death, lol.}

     18 And with many other exhortations he preached good news to the people. 19 But Herod the tetrarch (the son of Herod the Great who had tried to destroy/devour Jesus when he was one or two years of age, Rev.12:4, the chapter middle of three tellings of the revelation vision - with Mt.23:39) who had been publicly scolded by him for Herodias, his brother's wife.      21 When the people were baptized [“preparing the way before him”] and Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form, like a dove. And a voice came from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased.”

    MARK 1:9 - In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. 10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove. 11 And was heard a voice from heaven saying, “You are my beloved Son, and with you, I am well pleased.” [“We shall be like him.”]

     12 Then the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness. 13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. [First gone rogue one. God, being Life, suffers all things, and endowed thinking and reasoning ability to mankind and angelkind anyway!] And he was with the wild animals {wonder if they were friendly with him?} and the angels ministered to him.

      Lk.3:15-22 or Mk.1:9-13

15 The people were expecting the Messiah to come soon, and they were eager to know whether John (the baptizer) might be him. 16 John said to them, "I baptize you with water. But someone more powerful is coming, and I am not good enough to even untie his sandals! He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 17 His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the grain into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff (carnality) with unquenchable fire.” (Same process for all.) 18 So with many appeals and admonitions, John preached the good news to the people. 19 But John reprimanded Herod, the tetrarch/governor because he had married Herodias, his brother's wife, and had done many other evil things. 20 So Herod put John in prison, adding this sin to his many others.

     21 One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. And as he was praying, heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven saying, "You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you."

     And Mark 1:9 - At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. 11 And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and with you I am well pleased.” 12 And at once the Spirit led him into the wilderness, 13 where he was tempted by Satan for forty days. He was with the wild animals, and the angels took care of him.

       ~ Hebrews 7:13-17 ~

13 For the priest we are talking about (Jesus) belongs to a different tribe, whose members have never served at the altar as priests. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And so this change (of priesthood) has been made very clear by a different priest, who is like Melchizedek, appearing. 16 One who has become a priest not by a law of succession, but by the power of an indestructible life. 17 And the psalmist pointed this out when he prophesied, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
