08-10 - From 1Jn-2 Mk-6

(8th ‘Day Studies) verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

1John 2:15-17  Mark 6:1-13

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 2:15-17

15 - Don’t love this world and the things that belong to this world. If anyone loves the world, then love of the Father isn’t in them. 16 For all that’s in the world - the desires of the lower {flawed} nature, the coveting of the eyes, and the arrogance of life - are not from the Father but are of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, along with all its enchantments {and negative enchantments of division) but whoever does the will of God abides to [eis - into, to, towards, for, in] the age [aion - (the) eon, (the) age].

            🌙 P.M. MARK 6:1-13

1 - Then from there he and his disciples went to Jesus’ hometown. 2 And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, and said, “Where did he get this knowledge? What is this wisdom? How does he do such mighty works? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter’s son?! The son of Mary and the brother of James, Joses, Jude and Simon?” (James and Jude each have a letter in our New Testament. James became an important leader in Jerusalem.) “And are not his sisters here with us?”

     And they were offended. 4 But Jesus knowing their thoughts and what they were saying, said, “A prophet isn’t believed in, in his hometown, and among his relatives, and within his own house.” 5 And he couldn’t do miracles there, except he laid his hands on a few sick folk and they were healed. 6 He marveled over their unbelief, and he went about among the other villages teaching.

     7 Then he appointed the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits, 8 and told them to take nothing for their journey except a staff - no bread, no bag, no money in their belts. 9 And to wear sandals but not take another tunic. 10 “Whenever you enter a house,” he said, “stay there until you leave from there. 11 If a town or place won’t receive you, or listen to you, when you leave, shake the dust off your feet” {don’t let it bother you} “as a testimony. I tell you, it will be more tolerable [anektoteros: tolerable, endurable] {will go better} for Sodom or Gomorrah in [en -in, on, at, by, with, among, during] ‘day’ of judgment than for that city.” 12 So they went out and they proclaimed repentance [metanoeó - from metá - changed after being with, and noiéō - think,  so - think differently afterwards]. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and they were healed.

06-15 - From Heb-2 Lk-24 Mk-16

Hebrews 2:15-18  Lk.24:49-53, Mk.16:19,20

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:15-18

[14 - Since the sons and daughters are flesh and blood, Jesus {“forever first” and the firstborn Son} took on flesh and blood to be like them. He did this so that by dying he would destroy death and the one holding/using its strength, the devil, Greek “diabolos” - “accuser, slanderer in order to cause harm”] 15 - and so, to deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to a life of captivity. 16 For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.

     17 Therefore it was due benevolence [opheiló - owed, was indebted, an obligation] to be like the brothers and sisters in every respect - in order to - be a merciful and faithful high priest in His service to God, and to satisfy the debt [hilaskomai - satisfy debt, pay bill, gain or regain the goodwill or favor of, to appease, atone] for the sins [hamartía - noun derived from A - not, and méros - a part, share of – properly, no-share, no part of, loss (forfeiture) because not hitting the target, sin, missing the mark] of the people.  {Ro.11:32 - “God has consigned all to disobedience that he may have mercy upon all.” I’m convinced what needs appeasing is the human conscience.}

      18 And because he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. {Big ‘winds’ these days.. We can be tempted to join the accuser, and the ideas, trends/spirits of “the world”.}

            🌙 P.M. Lk.24:49-53, Mk.16:19,20

49 - “Look” Jesus said, “I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But wait in the city (Jerusalem) until you’re clothed with power from on high.”

     50 Then walking with them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands Jesus blessed them. 51 And while he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 Then they worshiped, and went back to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And were continually in the temple praising God.

     MARK 16:19 - So then the Lord Jesus, having spoken with them, was taken up into heaven. And he sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they (followers, witnesses) went out and told the message everywhere. And the Lord worked with them, confirming the message with signs [sémeions - miracles, signs, tokens, wonders].

06-12 - From Heb-2 Jn-21

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 2:4-8  John 21:7-15

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:4-8

4 - God also bearing witness by the signs, wonders and miracles. And by gifts of the Holy Spirit (/Presence of God) distributed according to his will and intent. 5 For it wasn’t to angels that God subjected the world to come (Rev.21:1-5; Isaiah 11:7, Gen.1:26). Of which we speak.

     6 It’s been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you’re mindful of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him? 7 You made him for a little while, lower than the angels. You’ve crowned him with glory and honor, 8 putting everything in subjection under his feet.” [Ps.8:4-6] Now in putting everything in subjection to him (mankind) he left nothing outside his control. At present, we don’t yet see everything in subjection to mankind.

            🌙 P.M. John 21:7-15

7 - That disciple whom Jesus loved (John referred to himself this way) said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the water. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards off.

     9 When they got to dry land, they saw a charcoal fire laid, with fish on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you’ve just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went on board and hauled the net, full of large fish ashore. 153 And although there were so many, the net didn’t tear.

    12 Jesus said, “Come and have breakfast.” And none asked him, “Who are you?” For they knew it was him. 13 Jesus took the bread and gave it to them, and also the fish. 14 This was now the third time he was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. 15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than all this?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.”

06-11 - From Heb-2 Jn-20,21

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 2:1-3  Jn.20:30-21:6 and ACTS 2:42-47 separately

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:1-3

1 - Therefore we must pay very close attention to what we’ve heard! Lest we drift away from it! 2 For since the message declared by angels proved to be firm and unchangeable {engraved in stone} and every transgression or disobedience received just return [misthapodosía - from misthós - reward, and apodídōmi - return, give back] 3 how shall - we - escape [ekpheugó - escape, flee out, avoid] if we neglect the so great [tēlikoútos - a strengthened form of tēlikos - so great, vast, very great, coming of age, reaching maximum size {and scope] salvation? That which was first announced by the Lord, and then was confirmed by us who heard it. (By the miracles, signs, and wonders, and by the changed hearts and lives.)

            🌙 P.M. Jn.20:30-21:6

30 - Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But what is written is so you may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have Life in his name.

     John 21:1 - Now Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias (another name for Sea of Galilee). And in this way — 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing!” They said to him, “We’ll go too.” So they took the boat out, but all that night, they caught nothing.

     4 And just as day was breaking, Jesus stood at the shore. The disciples didn’t know it was Jesus. 5 He said to them, “Children, have you any fish?” They answered, “No, we caught nothing.” 6 He said, “Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you’ll find some.” So they did, and now they were not able to haul in the catch, there were so many [pléthos - multitude, great number, fullness].

JOHN 2 13-25

  🍃🕊️01/05 - GospeL Verses 🍃🕊️

13 - It was now Passover, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers doing business there. 15 So making a whip of ropes, he drove them out of the temple, along with their sheep and oxen. And he dumped out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables, 16 saying, “Take these things away! Stop making my Father's house a house of buying and selling!” 17 And his disciples remembered that it’s written, “He will have zeal for Your house.”

     18 So the leaders said to him, “What sign do you show us that you have authority to do these things?!” 19 Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple! And in three days I will raise it up!” 20 The leaders then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 But he was talking about the temple of his body. 22 When he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this. And they believed the Scripture even more, and the message Jesus had spoken. [“Believe in God and believe in me.. Come follow me.. Father I pray they be one as we are one.. The work of God is this, to believe in the one He has sent.. And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded..]

     23 Now when he was in Jerusalem during Passover (week) many believed in his name when they saw the signs (miracles) he was doing. 24 But Jesus on his part didn’t entrust himself to anyone, because he knows all people 25 and doesn’t need anyone to tell him what is in man. {Imperfection, which can be an abyss of potential. It’s why we lock our doors at night?}

        WeeKly BooK oF Revelation

                paraphrased study

13 - When the sixth angel blew his trumpet, I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar before God, 14 and it said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels that are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, day, month, and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.16 The number of mounted troops - twice ten thousand times ten thousand is the number I heard. 17 And this is how the horses appeared and those who rode them - they wore breastplates the color of fire (red, red-orange) hyacinth (deep blue), and brimstone/sulfur (yellow) and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads (big) and fire, smoke, and sulfur came out of their mouths. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire (red), smoke (deep blue?) and brimstone (yellow) coming out of their mouths. (Rev.8:13 had said, “Woe! Woe! Woe [ouai - alas! woe!] to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts (that were) about to be sounded by the other three angels!” Trumpets five, six and seven.] 19 For the power of the horses [6th trumpet] is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents with heads, and by means of them they wound.

     20 The rest of mankind, who weren’t killed by these plagues, didn’t repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries [pharmakos - poisoning, sorcery, magic (modern(?) “miracles to mislead”, and enchantments, mesmerising)] nor repented of their sexual immorality and thefts. (As opposed to Jn.3:33.)

A Famous Unknown False Prophet

 Jeremiah 32:17 :

     “Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you!”

    This is as true now as ever. So why isn’t it obvious to all?

     It’s a “strong delusion” of the modern world’s “false prophet” of “seating man in the temple as god”/highest power. And so the west, once called Christendom, has “fallen away”.

     This influence has many more modern wonders and “miracles to mislead”. And a prophecy of course.

     “Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing - is too hard for you!”

    …prophet Jeremiah, 32:17.
