Hebrews 2:4-8 John 21:7-15
☀️ A.M. Hebrews 2:4-8
4 - God also bearing witness by the signs, wonders and miracles. And by gifts of the Holy Spirit (/Presence of God) distributed according to his will and intent. 5 For it wasn’t to angels that God subjected the world to come (Rev.21:1-5; Isaiah 11:7, Gen.1:26). Of which we speak.
6 It’s been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you’re mindful of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him? 7 You made him for a little while, lower than the angels. You’ve crowned him with glory and honor, 8 putting everything in subjection under his feet.” [Ps.8:4-6] Now in putting everything in subjection to him (mankind) he left nothing outside his control. At present, we don’t yet see everything in subjection to mankind.
🌙 P.M. John 21:7-15
7 - That disciple whom Jesus loved (John referred to himself this way) said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the water. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards off.
9 When they got to dry land, they saw a charcoal fire laid, with fish on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you’ve just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went on board and hauled the net, full of large fish ashore. 153 And although there were so many, the net didn’t tear.
12 Jesus said, “Come and have breakfast.” And none asked him, “Who are you?” For they knew it was him. 13 Jesus took the bread and gave it to them, and also the fish. 14 This was now the third time he was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. 15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than all this?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.”
