Jude 1:1-6 Jn.20:1-18 Mt.28:1-10
☀️ A.M. Jude 1:1-6
1 - Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James (both half brothers of Jesus). To those who are called, who are beloved in God the Father and kept in Jesus Christ:
2 May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you! 3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all, originally, delivered! 4 For certain ones have by stealth, come in. Their ungodliness and corrupt state was written of long ago. They change the grace of our God into permission for loose and perverse living, denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 Now I want to remind you, although all once fully knew it, that the Lord, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe. {Transplanted as into a not yet watered garden plot, to rise into the aionion kolasis / eonian korrection / age of correction. Jn.5:28,29 with Mt.25:46 but aionion kolasis has been translated to read everlasting punishment - instead of “eonian korrection”.}
6 And also, the angels who left their proper place [Rev.12:4] he has kept in aionion chains {met-a-phor} of darkness until the judgment {during} the great day.
{During the “last great day” ..the “8th day”/millennium, Rev.20.}
π P.M. Jn.20:1-18 Mt.28:1-10
1 - Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw the stone had been taken away from the tomb. [During Spring holy week, the third holy day, is Firstfruits. Which Firstfruits always follows the regular weekly Sabbath. Jesus died on Passover, was in the grave for 1st Unleavened Bread Day, and rose (3days later) on Firstfruits. And the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Enabler, Presence of God, was poured out upon/to the believers on Pentecost.]
2 So Mary ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved (John referred to himself this way) and said to them, “They’ve taken the Lord! And “we” don’t know where they’ve laid him.”
3 So Peter went with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb, 4 both of them running together. But the other disciple outran Peter, and reached the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he didn’t go in.
6 Then Simon Peter came and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.
8 Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they didn’t understand the Scripture, that he would rise from the dead. 10 Then the two went back to their homes.
11 But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been, one at the head and one at the feet. 13 They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said, “They have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have lain him.” 14 Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus, but she didn’t know it was him.
15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who is it you are seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have lain him, and I’ll take him away.”
16 Jesus said, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” which means Teacher. 17 Jesus told her, “Don’t hang onto me, for I’ve not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them I’m ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” 18 So she went to the disciples and announced, “I’ve seen the Lord!” And she told them what he had said to her.
MT. 28:1 — (Eyewitness accounts always differ, especially as time has passed.) Now after the Sabbath, toward dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord having descended from heaven, indeed came and rolled back the stone, and he was sitting on the stone.
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4 And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. 5 But the angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He’s not here. He is risen, as he said he would. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee. And you will see him there, just as I now tell you.”
8 So they went quickly from the tomb with awe and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them on the way, and said, “Greetings! [ChairΓ³! - rejoice, be glad, be joyful, a greeting and salutation.] And they fell and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
