06-05 - From Jude-1 Mt-28

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 Jude 1:7-13  Matthew 28:11-15

            ☀️ A.M. Jude 1:7-13

7 - Like Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, they indulge in sexual immorality and pursue unnatural desires. And those cities are an example of the penalty of the fire aionion suffering [hupechó - enduring, undergoing, suffering.] [Aion - is the root word of eon, but has been translated as forever, everlasting, etc.] {Of an age, and time, fire?}

      8 In the same way these dreamers, pollute themselves, set aside authority [kuriotés - dominion, lordship, authority] and blaspheme [blasphémeó - speak evil of] celestial powers.

     9 But even when the archangel Michael, reasoned and disputed with the devil [diabolos - accuser, slanderer] about the body of Moses, he didn’t presume to pronounce an insulting judgment {didn’t accuse and slander} but said, “The LORD rebuke you.”

     10 But these {influencers} insult everything they don’t understand, and corrupt themselves with the unreasonable animal instincts they do understand. 11 Woe to them! For they walk in the way of Cain (!) and abandon themselves to Balaam's error for reward [prophesying/teaching what the world wanted to hear] and perish in Korah's rebellion.

     12 These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast {celebrate} with you, without fear themselves shepherding, clouds without water, by winds carried about, autumn trees without fruit, twice dead/perished {doubly accursed} and uprooted, 13 wild waves of the sea, foaming out shame, wandering stars, for whom the gloom of darkness has been reserved to {or for?} the age [aion]. [To or for - eis - into, to, towards, for, in order to.]

            🌙 P.M. Matthew 28:11-15

11 - While the women were going {Jesus having revealed his resurrected self to the women} some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests (leaders) what had happened. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sum of money to the soldiers 13 and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this comes to the governor's ears, we’ll talk to him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So they took the money and did as they were told. And this story has been spread among the nation to this day.
