        Matthew 28:11-15

11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests (leaders) everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the Sanhedrin (court of elders/leaders) and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this should come to the governor’s ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were told. And this story has been circulated among the nation to this very day. (Mt.23:39,

           ~ Jude 1:7-13 ~

7 Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, are set forth as an example (of) suffering the judgment of eternal [Greek word aionion->eonian->of an age or of a duration] fire. (What Gomorrah and cities suffered is an example of ‘eternal’ hellfire. Seems to me that - event - was far from eternal. Surely lake of fire is earthly prophecy! Event not place. Definitely temporary. An important contrast - the Lord’s long second advent will be a wider pond ripple of his first so brief one ..with helpers serving, called reigning. For surely to do his works is to reign.)

     8 Likewise, these dreaming ones (false teachers who “came in stealthily, perverting the grace of  God into license”) corrupt theirselves, setting aside authority [kyriótēs - from kýrios - "lord" dominion] and honor/glory they greatly insult [blasphēméō - slander, to speak lightly or profanely of sacred things, speak against, use abusive language about]. 9 But the archangel Michael, even when he disputed with the devil over the body of Moses, did not presume to bring a slanderous charge against that one! But said, “The Lord rebuke you.”

     10 But these people scoff at what they don’t understand, and like unthinking animals, they do whatever their instincts tell them, and so they bring about their own ruin. (And others if they are teaching/preaching, or on a public soap box.) 11 Woe to them, because they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed for profit to the error of Balaam, and are perishing in the rebellion of Korah. [But Jesus said “all” are resurrected “some into life (at the Lord’s return into THE millennium, and some into the resurrection of judgment” (Jn.5:28-29) which elsewhere He calls agelasting-correction [“kolasin aionion” or “correction eonian” Mt.25:46.]

     12 These are hidden reefs (thus dangerous) at your good will feasts, as they banquet with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves, waterless clouds, swept along by winds, fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, trees without roots. 13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame, wandering stars, for whom deepest darkness has been reserved aionion.

       Jn.20:1-18 oR Mt.28:1-10

1 - 1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb.  2 So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” 3 So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb. 4 The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first; 5 and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. 6 And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, 7 and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. [This is a sign he left saying he is not done, it has to do with cloths at meal time, if I’m remembering right. The napkin still outside the plate of the head of household means he is not yet finished?] 8 So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb, then also entered, and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 So the disciples went away again to their own homes.

      11 But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb, 12 and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. 13 And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” 14 When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene came, announcing to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and that he had said these things to her.

    Matthew 28:1-10

1 -  Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2 And behold, a severe earthquake occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. 3 And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. 6 “He is not here, for he has risen, just as he said. Come, see the place where He was lying. 7 Go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead; and behold, he is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see him, listen, I have told you.”

      8 And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. 9 And behold (or, wow!) Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and take word to my brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see me.”

1 - From Jude, servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James--To those who have been called by God, who live in the love of God the Father and the protection of Jesus Christ. 2 May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

     3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was originally once for all delivered. 4 For certain men came in stealthily, those having been designated long ago unto this judgment. They are ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into indecent behavior and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. 5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later ruined those who did not believe (rebels who wandered forty years not entering “the promised land” but died in the wilderness). (Next thing they know, resurrection, when hyper logically, the Lord will do the same works during his long second advent, that he did during his first so brief one.) 6 And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment.

This will prevent his disciples from coming and stealing his body and then telling everyone he was raised from the dead! If that happens, the last fraud will be worse than the first!”

     65 "Take a guard," Pilate said, "and make the tomb as secure as you can." 66 So they sealed the tomb and posted guards to protect it.

     19 Greet Priscilla and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus has stayed at Corinth, and I left Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus. 21 Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus greets you, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia and all the brothers and sisters. 22 The Lord be with your spirit, and may his grace be with all of you.

           John 19:28-42

28 Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of sour (unsweetened) wine (called gaul) was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. 30 When Jesus received the vinegar, he said, 'It is finished’ and his head bowing forward, he gave up the spirit [pneuma - wind, breath, spirit].

     31 It was the day of preparation (new days begin at sunset rather than midnight) and the nation’s leaders didn’t want the bodies left on the crosses during the approaching Sabbath of the First Day of Unleavened Bread. [There’s three Sabbaths of Spring holy week - two of the three holy days, and the regular weekly - so also three preparation days.] So they asked Pilate to hasten their deaths by ordering that their legs be broken. Then their bodies could be taken down. 32 So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the two men crucified with Jesus. 33 But when they came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, so they didn’t break his legs. 34 One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out. 35 He who saw it has borne witness—his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth—that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”

     38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes. 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 And so, because it was the day of preparation for the Passover meal upon First Day of Unleavened Bread, and since the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there. (As evening approached, beginning the new day. By 1st day of Unleavened Bread, a Sabbath, Jesus was in the tomb. Died on Passover, in the grave at 1st Unleavened Bread Day, and he rose on Firstfruits which always followed the regular weekly Sabbath. But Passover and U.B. day are moveable. Passover being at the full moon of the first month, and U.B. is always the next day.)

1 - I (Paul) solemnly urge you (Timothy, and ultimately all of us) in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom, 2 preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage the people with good teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after/wander off into myths. [People/anthrópoi will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths. (God created, biG bang into the universe as is, but like a clock not running. And THEN he set it in motion. Will the regenesis take thousands, millions, billions of years?] 5 But you, be sober concerning all things, endure hardship, and work hard, telling the good news and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.[Ministry/work - diakonía – ministry; active service, done with a willing voluntary attitude, Spirit-empowered service guided by faith pístis, the Lord's inbirthed persuasion]. 6 Now the time has come for my departure. My life is like a drink offering being poured out on the altar. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. [Righteous - dikaiosuné - justice, justness, righteousness, righteousness of which God is the source or author, but practically: a divine righteousness.] (Divine, perfect state. Mt.5:48) (This life/lesson, being a ‘parable’ of the decomposing apple and the worm that does not quit. Not without divine, super-natural intervention., which God has done, “it is finished”.)

        Matthew 27:50-61

50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. [Pneuma - wind, breath, spirit?] [Another version - Jesus again gave a loud cry and breathed his last.] 51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, rocks were split, 52 and graves broke open, and some of God's people who slept arose. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. 54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they feared greatly and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

     55 And many women who had come from Galilee with Jesus to provide for him were watching from a distance. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

     57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate issued an order to release it to him. 59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud (cloth) 60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. [Jesus died on Passover and was “in the grave” as First Day of Unleavened Bread began, the days beginning at sunset rather than midnight. He rises exactly three days later, as the third holy day of Spring holy week was beginning and the regular weekly Sabbath was ending. Since Jesus’ first brief advent so perfectly fulfilled the ancient Spring holy days, what does this suggest about the Fall holy days?] 61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.

Soon everyone will know the truth about them, just as Jannes and Jambres were found out. 10 But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance. 11 You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—but the Lord rescued me from all of it. 12 Everyone who wants to live a God honoring life in union with Christ Jesus, will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them. 15 Since childhood, you have known the Holy Scriptures that are able to make you wise enough to have faith in Christ Jesus and be saved. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 So that the person of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 42 The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship and the breaking of bread and to prayers. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 All the believers continued together and shared everything they had. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily, those who were being saved.

     Very Brief Outline of Acts:

Jesus returns to where he was with the Father before his advent/visit (his brief first one).

The Holy Spirit/Presence of God is poured out on the believers who were in Jerusalem on the late Spring holy day of Pentecost. Peter speaks, there are 3000 new believers that day.

The good news message spreads, Peter is invited and goes to a Roman’s house and all believe. The first record of non Hebrew believers (besides likely some on Pentecost).

     Persecution breaks out.. jail. stoning. Pharisee Saul leads the persecution, but on his way to Damascus with papers for arrests, Jesus makes himself seen but is so bright Paul falls to the ground and is blinded. After two days he is healed and is a believer, and soon is called Paul. He wrote many (to most) of the New Testament letters, but spent a few years (it seems to me) exclusively listening to the Lord. He established many ‘churches’ in what’s called three missionary journeys, and met and worked with Mark and Luke, and quite a few others. (Luke wrote this Book of Acts.) His fourth journey is to Rome to trial as a prisoner. There’s a shipwreck on the way.. He wrote many of his letters while in prison and under ‘house’ arrest.
