☀️ 17 - But in the following, I (Paul) cannot commend you, because when you come together it’s not for the better but for the worse. 18 First thing being, when you come together as a church, I hear there are divisions among you. 19,20 And when you come together, it’s not the Lord's {peaceful, togetherness} supper you eat. If there must be splits and factions among you, perhaps it will at least reveal the genuine from the not so genuine.
21 Then I hear as well, that in eating, one piles their plate while another goes hungry. And still another gets drunk.
22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or is it that you despise the church of God and humiliate those who haven’t as much as you? Should I praise you in this!? Certainly not! What can I even say?
