GospeL Verses ~ John 8:2-11

2 - (These verses are not in some earliest manuscripts. Perhaps(?) it had been handed down, and added.) Early in the morning Jesus came again to the temple, the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. 3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought to Jesus a woman who had been caught in adultery, and 4 they said, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. 5 Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say?” 6 This they said to test him, looking for a charge to bring against him. But Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger in the dust. 7 And as they kept asking him, he stood up and said, “Let he who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 And once more he bent down and wrote in the dust. 9 And then they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones first, and Jesus was left alone with the woman. 10 Jesus stood upright and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.” (‘Legend’ has it that she then followed Jesus, was Mary Magdalene or one of many women who did so.)

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                  ~ Colossians 2:8-17 ~

8 - See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deception/delusion [apatΓ© - deceit, deception, delusion] according to human tradition, according to principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him all the fullness of the deity dwells, 10 And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority, 11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision and a taking away that is done not by hands, but is by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, you were also raised (lifted up) with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from death. 13 And you, who were once dead because of trespasses and uncircumcision, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses. 14 Yes he cancelled the record of debt that was against us with its legal demands. He forgave all the debt (which is death) nailing it all to the cross. 15 He disarmed the principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them by openly triumphing over them.

16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. [The “new and Living way” of Christ in us.]

Easter

The deity is Life and Perfection, but he gave thinking ability, thus choice, which is how we got life as we know it. To be imperfect is the opposite of life so God sent the "firstborn of all creation" who died in our place - trading with us and reconciling us to God/Life when we believe and receive. Study science/observation (or just look into it a little) it does not support man's adult fairy tale of man being the highest power.
- Once again, "the wolf will dwell with the lamb, the lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow" Is. 11:7. ~ Peace! and happy Easter!

What Is The (True) Character of God?

If God (the deity) is Life, the life force itself, and surely he is, for what else could be? "In the beginning, God.." Then when one reaps consequences of one's very own doings, it still could be said that God 'rewards' and 'punishes'. Yet it is no direct act of his..
- Hebrews 1:3 tells us that it's the character of Jesus, the Son, which is the "exact representation" of God the Father's character, "he is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of his nature". Elsewhere it says he is "the exact likeness of God" (2 Cor 4:4) and "he is the image of the invisible God, and the firstborn of all creation" (Col 1:15).
- The theory of (and word) "hell" is a mistranslation which should more closely read "the grave". This mistranslation closes many minds to the message of the Bible (and understandingly so!) which message is the full triumph of good versus evil, or, that is to say, the full triumph of life over death. This one thing alone takes much of the shine from the glory of the message, what is called "the good news", which Jesus always called "the gospel of the Kingdom" (of paradise on Earth restored and unbreakable).

Apocalypse??

Apocalypse began before Cain slew Abel.. before Adam and Eve disobeyed.. perhaps even before the first bound-to-occur rebel thought occurred (then ripened, in high angel Lucifer). It's possible Apocalypse (collapse) began when God endowed the ability to think - because included in the ability to think, is the ability to choose..

I Had A Dream

It's a habit of mine to have prayer and bible time outside or looking out a window. In my dream I was looking for a room with a window, saying "I have to find a room with a window", becoming more and more upset until in my dream I was breaking things and sobbing.. I don't usually have such dreams! Although the schedule has changed around here, and Quiet times have gotten much shorter!
- This of course is what I figured the dream was referring to. But some time later, as I was in prayer and bible time I realized it was about the human condition!
- The human condition versus The Art of Waiting upon God in (the) peace and Quietness..

Just What Is Hell, Besides a Mistranslation Which Should Read Death?

'Hell' was created, as 'hell' is commonly understood to be, very early on, but not by God! As a place of torment it has been a part of ancient Pagan (non-Hebrew) beliefs and reached its epiphany in Greece. But Israel acquainted "hellfire" with fiery (national) judgment. And Sheol, of course, the place of the dead, was the grave and the dust of - Isaiah 14:11; Genesis 3:19 (Philippians 2:10).
- "Hell" is being without God. But that can't happen! God is Life. Every little drop of Life is God - Genesis 1:1 - so to be without God is to not be. Period. "And the last thing to be vanquished is death" - 1 Corinthians 15:26. (The opposite of Life, is non-life.)
- Jude, in verse 7, said "the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.. is the example of eternal fire" - Jude 7. Is there flames and fire there now, where Sodom and Gomorrah once were? Rather it is mounds of dust and ashes. Revelation 19:3 speaks of destruction as a "smoke that rises forever and ever." It is an eternal lesson which is remembered forever and ever, and then some. The smoke (memory) of it will rise forever in our memory and psyche. We cannot walk away from God in any means or fashion, because God is both Life and Perfection. To turn from Him in any little thing is to cease to be. It's an eternal "note to self (a great gift) which says "CANNOT BE DONE".
- But this journey and lesson of hell (death) and hellfire, this narrative of God is/was unavoidable, unless God is creating an ant farm and robots. But He's not. He's of course creating the absolutely best thing possible, because He is, after all, Perfection. So the 'end' result of all this can only be Perfect. Nothing else is possible.

God Can Only Be Perfect

Jesus said things like "that your joy may be full.." and "if I be lifted up I will draw all unto me". I think we greatly under-estimate God's "great plan of salvation". After all God can only be perfect, so wouldn't the best outcome of all this be the best one possible.. Logic tells me God reaches every heart with the gospel. [Ps 22:27 "all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will worship Him".]

Everything Must Move

Everything has to move! If we lived in an unmoving universe, it would have to be flat (one dimensional)!
- Right..?

An Absolute

If there is a deity (and I say "if" not as how I believe, but as how many in the world believe) - if there is a deity, it can only be true that any fault anywhere at anytime, cannot be with the deity, but must be with us. Surely anything imperfect cannot endure. Therefore it is an absolute that the deity can only be perfect.
