10-27 - 1 Corinthians 3 1-6

scriptures paraphrased to post

   πŸ•Š️a reading & study πŸ•Š️

1 - But, I (Paul) couldn’t address you as spiritual, but as still carnal! For you were as infants in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk, for you weren’t ready for solid food. And even now you’re not ready. 3 For while there is jealousy, arguments, strife and division among you - are you not still being carnal? Behaving only in the {lower} human {selfish, self interest, self first} way? 4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely divisive? {With its eventual dislike? And like the world can progress to hatred, perhaps war? Every division/dislike/hate believes itself righteous, even enlightened.. more than and better than.. worthy to be spit out, a product of actually being luke warm due to still self first, hence not sacred/hagios (separated) translated holy (whoLe, real).} 5 What then is Apollos? {A good teacher “knowledgeable in the scripture”.} What is Paul?! We are only servants of the LORD. Servants through whom you received God’s message. 6 I planted, Apollos watered. But God is the one who gave and gives the growth. {It’s God’s work. In the world, politics actually has core values - among the people, that is - and parties are different views on how to actally achieve those core values. But! Demonizing one another gets followers and votes. But is highly corrosive, a very bad portent. It is way too easy to convince the carnal to embrace, first superiority, and then sadly, hate. Opposite of Love.}

1John 2 11-14

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️  reading & study  πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

08/09 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

11 - Whoever hates [miseΓ³ - to hate, detest, love less, esteem less] despises their brother [adelphos - from the same womb] {all from Eve, their fellow person/others} IS in the dark. And walking in darkness, not knowing where they stumble, because the darkness has blinded their eyes. {It’s MY heart I need to judge. But “the world” is awash with suspicion, blame, accusation, judging, condemning -> division. And human nature seems to be super prone to it, even among believers in our Lord, straining over gnats, complaining about others past and present, judging before its time.. Thinking “we’re doing it right, others are not, have not, etc, etc. Our specific way of thinking is superior.. others inferior.. same old same old.}

     12  I (John) am writing to you, little children {newbies, lol} because for his name's [onoma - authority, CAUSE, name’s] sake, your sins/“missing the mark” is forgiven. 13 I’m writing to you, fathers, because you’ve known he who is from the beginning. I’m writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I’m writing to you, children, because you know the Father.

     14 I write to you, fathers, because you know he who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and πŸ—️the word of God lives/abides in you, and (so) you overcome the evil one.

JOHN 8 48-59

  πŸƒπŸ•Š️ 03/19 - GospeL Verses πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

                  (paraphrased)

The leaders answered, “Are we not right in saying you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” {And do now they were currently locked into the coming fiery (earthly) judgment of 70 CE, elite, divisive, labeling, accusatory, known to stir up sentiment, even mob and mob mentality - why Jesus told them they were being children of the devil “the accuser, slanderer” hater, ever sowing division, the siren call to armageddon’s large and small.} 49 Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father. And you dishonor me. 50 Yet I don’t seek my own glory. There is One who seeks it, and he’s the judge. 51 Truly, I tell you, if anyone keeps my message, they will not see death to [eis - into, to, towards, for] the age (aion).” 52 The leaders said, “Now we know you have a demon! Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, he will not see death.’ 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It’s my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ 55 But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I don’t know him, I would be lying like you, but I do know him and I keep his word/message. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the leaders said, “You’re not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said, “Truly, I tell you, I was [eimi - to be, exist, happen, be present] {was} before Abraham.” [Col 1:15; Rev 1:5 - “firstborn” (of creation) prōtΓ³tokos - from -prαΉ“tos, "first, pre-eminent" and tΓktō - bring forth - properly, first in time (Mt 1:25; Lk 2:7) hence, pre-eminent.] {The OnLy straight out from God - one.} 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and left the temple.

MATTHEW 15 1-20

   πŸƒπŸ•Š️ 02/24 - GospeL Verses πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

1 - Some Pharisees and scribes came along, from Jerusalem and asked Jesus, 2 “Why do your disciples break the - tradition - of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat.” 3 He answered, “Why do you break the commandment/instruction/law - of God - for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘the one who curses father or mother in death ends.’ 5 But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or his mother, “What I would have given to you as aid {in your old age} is instead given [is in trust, as an offering] to God,” 6 then they need not honor mother or father.’ So for the sake of your tradition, you have annulled the word of God. 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said 8 “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 9 In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments, (guidance, instructions) of men.’”

     10 And he called the people to him and told them, “Hear and understand, 11 it’s not what goes into the mouth that ruins a person, but what comes out of the mouth.”

     12 A little later, the disciples said to him, “Do you know the the Pharisees were offended at what you said?” 13 He answered them, “Every plant my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. 14 Let them be, they are blind guides. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a pit.” {The wolf puts on sheep’s clothing. “The World” talks a good talk, and many are misled.} 15 But Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 And Jesus said, “Are you too without understanding, and still don’t see? 17 What goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? 18 But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this ruins a person. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness/accusation, slander. 20 These are what pollutes. But to eat with unwashed hands does not pollute.” {Speaking slander and accusation, as they did about Jesus and later believers, is evidence of contamination of the heart. Blind guides guiding - embrace hate, division is unity, the ‘us and them’ mentality the world and its powers find so very useful. Pollutions of heart.. blind leading the blind who receive it.. Also the spiritual teaching of lawlessness. We cannot be transformed by - rules and laws which are external - proven failed with one nation, with the first human pair, and pre flood was hands off, but “the seed” Jesus implanted, and nurtured and watered, does away with lawlessness and the (selfish, lower vibration if you will) pollutions of the heart and mind. And we grow and mature to fuLL transformation at (one of two) vivifications which is the “putting on of perfection/incorruptibility” thus the enduring Life.. Which following blind guides of any sort just slows, delays, stagnates the process. Anything unTrue is a waste of time. 2Tim.3:16 is better, Psalm 1, with offering and sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving.. singing in heart and spirit, with the habitual practice of quiet listening/“waiting upon God”. This will rebound into fruits of the Spirit rather than the common pollutions of the heart, that often masquerade as being the greater good. Fruits of the flesh, “wars among you”, slander, accusations, division, factions, discord and dispute, (embrace the hate) as somehow righteous, Gal.5:19-26. Habitually human, same old, same old, since Cain slew Abel.}

1 Corinthians 11:17-22

11/23 ~ From New Testament Letters

 πŸ•Š️ (In the Order Believed Written)

17 - But in the following, I (Paul) cannot commend you, because when you come together it’s not for the better but for the worse. 18 First thing being, when you come together as a church, I hear there are divisions among you. Perhaps 19 if there must be factions among you, perhaps it will at least reveal who are the genuine ones. 20 And when you come together, it’s not the Lord's {peaceful, togetherness} supper you eat. 21 For in eating, one piles his plate while another goes hungry. And still another gets drunk.

     22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or is it that you despise the church of God and humiliate those who haven’t as much as you? What shall I say? Should I praise you in this? Certainly not.
