Matthew 24:7-14
7 (Jesus continues) “Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved” [sแนzล - delivered out of danger and into safety - when the Lord returns, all believers enter “the” millennium, after which the door to it is shut, Mt.25:1-10.)
14 “The Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it - and then - the end will come.”

The First Letter to Timothy
~ 1 Timothy 5:1-7 ~
1 - Don’t use harsh words (Timothy, leader of the group, ‘churches’ were home groups) when you correct an older man, but talk to him as if he were your father. Talk to younger men as if they were your brothers, 2 treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters. 3 Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her. 4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. 5 The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. 6 But [literal word for word] the living only for self indulgence is dead even while living. (Surely widow oR widower, or anyone.) 7 Give the people these instructions, so that no one may be open to blame.
