Today’s GospeL Verses ~ Mark 10:46-52

46 - And they came to Jericho. And as they were leaving Jericho with a great crowd along with them, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. 47 And when he heard the commotion, and learned that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 And many scolded him, telling him to be quiet. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him over here.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart. Get up, he’s calling for you.” 50 And throwing off his cloak, Bartimaeus sprang up and went to Jesus.

51 And Jesus said to him, “What is it you want me to do for you?” And he said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 And Jesus said, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” And immediately his sight was restored, he could see, and he joined the crowd following Jesus.

                ~ Galatians 1:20-24 ~

20 - And what I (Paul) am writing to you (Galatian believers), before God, I do not lie. 21 Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. 22 And I was still unknown in person to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23 They only were hearing, “He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” 24 And they glorified God because of it.
