10/30 ~ From New Testament Letters
(In the Order Believed Written)
By Necessity Paraphrased
1 - How should one regard us teachers? As servants of Christ and keepers of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover, it’s required of stewards and keepers that they be found faithful. 3 It’s a small matter if I (Paul) should be judged by you, or by any human court. In fact, I don’t even judge myself. 4 For I’m not aware of anything against myself, but that doesn’t guarantee I’m acquitted - it’s the Lord who judges. 5 Therefore we should not pronounce judgments (division is the world’s voice) before the time - before the Lord comes! For HE will bring to light the hidden things of darkness (☠️ especially of the world) and will disclose the purposes of hearts. Then each one will receive their praise from God.
6 I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your learning, that you may benefit by our example, knowing not to go beyond what is written, that no one be puffed up, one against another. (Don’t see people as on levels, placing self on the highest level, lol. Nor sect against one another. We can find common ground without agreeing about all things. Truth is the only thing that stands tall and endures. It does not need us to make quarrels/war over it. Besides, prayer is vastly more superior and works upon us as well as ‘them’, makes things “straight”.)
