MATTHEW 13 31-43

31 - He told them another parable, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a person takes and plants in their garden. 32 It’s the smallest of all the seeds, but when it’s grown it’s larger than all the garden plants and becomes like a tree, so that the birds of the air even come and make nests in its branches.”

     33 And yet another. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman takes and hides in three measures of flour, until - it’s all leavened.” {Three loaves, three harvests, 1Cor.15:22-24,27-28.}

     34 All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables. He was saying nothing to them without a parable. 35 This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, “I will open my mouth in parables. {Riddles! Things hidden in plain sight!} I will utter what has been hidden since the beginning/founding of the world.”

     36 When he left the crowds and went into the house, his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons and daughters of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons and daughters (still) of the evil one {this world}. 39 And the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned in a fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 And the Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all practicing of lawlessness. 42 They will be thrown into the fiery furnace. {Is.24:20, Rev.10:4?} There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
