06/02 ~ From New Testament Letters
(In the Order Believed Written)
1 - So I solemnly charge, before God and Christ, who will judge living and dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom, 2 proclaim the message! Be ready in season and out of season. Correct, admonish, and convince, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people won’t endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will gather to themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and they will turn away from listening to the truth and will wander off into fables. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your charge. 6 As for me, I am being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is near. 7 I’ve fought the good fight, I’ve finished the race, I’ve kept the faith. 8 From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness [dikaiksunรฉ - righteousness, justice] {the crown of Life?} which the Lord, the just and righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all loving his appearing.
