08-04 - From Heb-13 Lk-8

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 13:15-25  Luke 8:19-25

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 13:15-25

15 - Through him then - let us at all times, in all seasons, offer up a *sacrifice of praise*. (A note for prophecy, esp. Dn.12:11)

     A sacrifice of praise to God! The fruit of lips that speak [homologeó - speak the same, agree upon] the name [onoma - name, authority, cause] of him.

    16 Don’t neglect to do good {including attitude? begins with attitude?} and to share what you have. For such sacrifices are pleasing to God. 17 Listen to your leaders, following their lead, for they watch over your souls [psyxḗ - from psyxō - breath, wind, blow which is the root of the English words psyche, psychology, soul, psyche, a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality] as those who must give an account. To this end, allow them to lead with joy and not with grief, for of what advantage is that? {Teachers will give account.}

    18 Pray for us!  For a good conscience, wanting always to conduct ourselves well toward all. 19 And pray too that I be restored to you the sooner!

     20 Now may the God of peace - who raised out of death our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep - by the very blood of the enduring covenant, 21 equip you with all that’s necessary, for you to do his will.

     HE - is working in us - that which is pleasing in his sight. Through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, amen! 22 I encourage you, to bear with my words of encouragement [paraklésis - a calling to one's aid, i.e. encouragement, comfort] which is why I’ve written to you briefly. {Lol.} 23 You know our brother Timothy has been released! And so, with him I too shall see you, if he comes soon. 24 Greet all your elders and all the saints [hagios - holy, sacred, set apart] {believers}. And those who are in Italy send you their greetings. 25 Grace be with you all!

            🌙 P.M. LUKE 8:19-25

19 - Jesus’ mother and brothers came looking for him, but couldn’t get to him because of the crowd. 20 So some there told Jesus, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” 21 But he answered, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

     22 Then on yet another day he got into a boat with his disciples, and said, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, 23 and as they were sailing he fell asleep. But a windstorm soon bore down upon them, the boat was filling with water. And they were in danger. 24 So they woke him, saying, “Master! We’re perishing!” And then he rebuked the wind and the pounding waves. And all was calm.

     25 He said to them, “Where is your faith!?” And they wondered with awe and marveled! Saying to one another, “Who is this? That he even commands the wind and the sea, and they obey him!”

03-24 - Eph-2 Jn-10

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 2:10-16  John 10:7-21

            ☀️ Ephesians 2:10-16

10 - For we are his creativity and creation, intended, in Christ Jesus, for good things! Which God predestined and prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

     11 So remember that at one time you gentiles were unbelievers 12 and were separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers to the covenant [diathéké - covenant, testament, will] of promise, having no hope [elpis - expectation] and without God in the world! {One reason for Israel was to separate himself from “the gods” of the nations/gentiles; each city-state had their war god, etc.}

     13 But now in Christ Jesus you who were far off have been brought near! This by the blood {crucifixion/execution} of Christ. {Hoodwinked the adversary/accelerant/accuser/slanderer.}

     14 He himself is our peace, who has made us one. He has broken down the wall of hostility that divides us, 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in laws and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new person, in place of the two. And so making peace, 16 by reconciling us both to God in one body, slaying the hostility by the cross. [Between Hebrew and Gentile (non Hebrew). “One flock.”] {Ultimately of course, full scope, all hostility.} [Hostility - echthra, fem of echthros - hatred, hostility, enmity.] {Surely hostility is Satanically inspired. But fills a void? Not that we need to laud despots, etc. Nor approve (or express disapproval?) of all things, “..friendship/agreement with the world is hostility toward God” James 4:4.}

            🌙 John 10:7-21

7 - Again, Jesus said, “Truly, I tell you, I’m the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep don’t listen to their voice.” {Which is masquerade. Like the “wolf in sheep’s clothing”. Talks a good talk, allures through smooth promises.}

     9 “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, they will be saved” {from the end result of entropy/imperfection, and its cause, straying, being strayed, wandering lamb, lost sheep} “and they will go in and out” {will go about in freedom} “and find pasture” {green pastures, Ps.23}.

     10 “The thief comes only to steal. And to kill and destroy. But I have come that they may have life! And have it abundantly! 11 I’m the - good - shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 But a hired hand, who isn’t a shepherd, and doesn’t own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and runs away, leaving the sheep. And so the wolf scatters them, and will snatch from among them.” {One by one? As does untruth, and untrue doctrines.}

     13 “He flees because he’s a hired hand and doesn’t care about the sheep. 14 But I’m the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me. 15 Just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. And I will lay down my life for the sheep.

     16 I have other sheep who aren’t of this fold. I will bring them also, and they’ll listen to my voice. And so there-will-be one flock, and one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me. I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority [exousia - authority, power, right, jurisdiction; from exesti, meaning "it is lawful"] to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”

     {Top ironclad natural law of life is God is Life and “is perfect” so imperfect can never endure but fades away.. So Jesus, only straight out from God one, is the gift of God to us, and is enduring life. Father and Son are so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” humanity and all creation. Two options for creation? Total ant farm, or total ‘herd’ immunity? The dis-ease as part of the cure? Entropy as THE crucible ..which flares up into fiery judgments - earthly. The three mentions of lake of fire are at huGe fiery events.}

     19 There was again a division among the people concerning him, because of this teaching. 20 Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is crazy, why listen to him?”

     21 Others said, “These are not the words of someone oppressed by a demon. And can a demon make the blind to see?”

JOHN 10 7-21

🍃🕊️ 03/24 - GospeL Verses 🕊️🍃

                (paraphrased)

7 - So again Jesus said, “Truly, I tell you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep don’t listen to their voice. {Beware the voice of the world, aka, politics and popular trends. It masquerades, of course, in sheep’s clothing. Talks a good talk.} 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, they will be saved” {from the end result of entropy/imperfection, and its cause, straying, being strayed} and they will go in and out {go about in freedom} and find pasture {green pastures}.

And the wolf snatches from among them and scatters them. {As does untrue doctrines.} 13 He flees because he is a hired hand and doesn’t care about the sheep. 14 But I’m the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me 15 just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. And I will lay down my life for the sheep.

What A Long Day!

Can I even remember what was in my mind to blog this morning..?
I came across this sort of, well known saying, recently, "Once abolish the God and the government becomes the God." --G.K.Chesterton.
- And I thought of it later when I read "..the hireling when he sees the wolf, leaves the sheep and flees.." John 10:12,13.
- I hate to leave it at that, after all I don't want to focus on the negative! It's simply preparing just a bit 4 the negative.. and maybe not even us, but maybe our kids and grand kids..
Matthew 24:29-31 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days.. shall they see the Son of man coming on the clouds.. He will send His angels with the great sound of the trumpet and they shall gather His elect from the four winds.."
- "The cow and the bear shall graze,
    their young shall lie down together;
    and the lion shall eat straw like the ox." Isaiah 11:7
- He will settle arguments
between distant
    and powerful nations.
They will pound their swords
and their spears
    into rakes and shovels;
they will never again make war
    or attack one another.
 Everyone will find rest
beneath their own fig trees
    or grape vines,
and they will live in peace.
This is a solemn promise
    of the Lord All-Powerful."
Micah 4:4
                   (Contemporary English Version)
- "...from the four winds.." Some versions read "from the four corners" (of the world) and some have used this verse to claim Jesus thought the world was flat. (Rofl! North, South, East, West! dah.. Oh well, I wasn't born believing either!)
-  "The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.." John 10:11. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.." John 10:27. ["..the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep." John 10:11]
