08-04 - From Heb-13 Lk-8

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 13:15-25  Luke 8:19-25

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 13:15-25

15 - Through him then - let us at all times, in all seasons, offer up a *sacrifice of praise*. (A note for prophecy, esp. Dn.12:11)

     A sacrifice of praise to God! The fruit of lips that speak [homologeó - speak the same, agree upon] the name [onoma - name, authority, cause] of him.

    16 Don’t neglect to do good {including attitude? begins with attitude?} and to share what you have. For such sacrifices are pleasing to God. 17 Listen to your leaders, following their lead, for they watch over your souls [psyxḗ - from psyxō - breath, wind, blow which is the root of the English words psyche, psychology, soul, psyche, a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality] as those who must give an account. To this end, allow them to lead with joy and not with grief, for of what advantage is that? {Teachers will give account.}

    18 Pray for us!  For a good conscience, wanting always to conduct ourselves well toward all. 19 And pray too that I be restored to you the sooner!

     20 Now may the God of peace - who raised out of death our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep - by the very blood of the enduring covenant, 21 equip you with all that’s necessary, for you to do his will.

     HE - is working in us - that which is pleasing in his sight. Through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, amen! 22 I encourage you, to bear with my words of encouragement [paraklésis - a calling to one's aid, i.e. encouragement, comfort] which is why I’ve written to you briefly. {Lol.} 23 You know our brother Timothy has been released! And so, with him I too shall see you, if he comes soon. 24 Greet all your elders and all the saints [hagios - holy, sacred, set apart] {believers}. And those who are in Italy send you their greetings. 25 Grace be with you all!

            🌙 P.M. LUKE 8:19-25

19 - Jesus’ mother and brothers came looking for him, but couldn’t get to him because of the crowd. 20 So some there told Jesus, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” 21 But he answered, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

     22 Then on yet another day he got into a boat with his disciples, and said, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, 23 and as they were sailing he fell asleep. But a windstorm soon bore down upon them, the boat was filling with water. And they were in danger. 24 So they woke him, saying, “Master! We’re perishing!” And then he rebuked the wind and the pounding waves. And all was calm.

     25 He said to them, “Where is your faith!?” And they wondered with awe and marveled! Saying to one another, “Who is this? That he even commands the wind and the sea, and they obey him!”

05-15 - 1Pet-3 Jn-14

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • 1 Peter 3:15-22  John 14:22-31 and summary of Paul’s travels separately

            ☀️ A.M. 1 Peter 3:15-22

15 - In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy {sacred, above reproach} always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason of the hope [elpis - expectation, trust, confidence] that’s in you, yet with gentleness and respect, 16 having a good conscience, so when you’re slandered, those who insult your good behavior in Christ will know otherwise.

     17 It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that be God's will, than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins [harmartia - missing the mark, falling short, imperfection, wrongs] the righteous on behalf of the unrighteous {the perfect on behalf of the imperfect} that he might bring us to God. Though having been put to death, but alive however in spirit. 19 Same as he went and proclaimed to the spirits under guard {locked into the coming deluge} 20 because in the old time, they didn’t obey, when was waiting God's patience in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through. 21 {Same Spirit at work with each one of us.} And baptism, which corresponds to this {perishing of the self centered/self first carnality} now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body {bodily bathing} but as an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven, and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been made subject to him.

            🌙 P.M. John 14:22-31

22 - Judas (not Iscariot, Jude) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you’ll reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered, “If anyone loves me, they’ll keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we’ll come and make our home with them.

     24 But whoever doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. And the word/message you’ve heard isn’t mine but the Father's who sent me.

     25 These things I’ve spoken to you while I’m still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit {/Presence of God} which the Father will send in my name, will teach you all and bring to your remembrance all I’ve said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, and not as the world gives, so don’t let your hearts be troubled, nor let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say, I’m going away, and will come to you, if you love me, rejoice. Because I’m going to the Father, and the Father is greater than I. 29 And now, I’ve told you before it happens, so when it does take place you’ll believe. 30 Not much longer will I talk with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has told me, so the world may know that I love the Father. Let’s go from here now.”

02-23 - Ro-11 Jn-6

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 12:1-9  John 6:30-40

           ☀️ Romans 12:1-9

1 -  I (Paul) appeal to you therefore, by the mercies of God, to present yourself as a living sacrifice, sacred and well pleasing to God, which is our reasonable [logikos - rational, thoughtful, reasonable, logical, root word  logos] service [latreia - worship service, ministration of God, latreúō - render sacred service].

     2 Don’t conform to this world. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what’s the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect.

     3 By the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourselves more highly than you should, but let your thinking be with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has given. 4 For we are one body, with many members, and each part of the body has a different function. {We’re not all perfect clones of one another, and are given different talents and ways of serving.} 5 So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

     6 So having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them. If prophecy, in proportion to the faith. [In proportion to - (greek) analogia - from aná,  up, completing a process, and lógos - reasoning, word – properly, analogous {& logical?} reasoning.] 7 If service, in our serving. The one who teaches, in their teaching. 8 The one who encourages [parakaleó - to call to one's side, exhort, encourage, comfort, urge] in their encouraging and urging. The one who contributes, in generosity. The one who leads, with zeal, and the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be genuine! Abhor what’s evil [poneros - bad, evil -> malicious] and hold tightly to what is good [agathós – “benefit, inherently (intrinsically) good; originates from God and is empowered by Him” - biblehub dot com].

            🌙 John 6:30-40

(29 - Jesus said, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”) 30 - So they asked him, “What sign will you do, that we may believe you? What proof will you do? 31 For our fathers ate manna in the wilderness, like it says, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat!’”

     32 Jesus answered, “Truly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave the bread from heaven. And my Father gives to you the true manna from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

     34 They said to him, “Sir! Give us this bread always.” 35 Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me does not hunger, and whoever believes in me does not thirst. 36 I’ve said to you that you have seen me and yet you don’t believe. 37 But - all - the Father gives me will come to me.” [Jn.13:3 - “The Father has given [didómi - gave, granted, bestowed] all into the Son’s hand.” Pas - all, every, the whole, often translated “all things”. Translators just couldn’t quite believe “all”?]

     “And whoever comes to me I will not cast out. 38 For I’ve come down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of he who sent me. 39 And this - is the will of he who sent me — that all - he has given me — I will not lose. But will raise up, on the last day.”

     {There’s two “last days”! #1 The one simultaneous with his return/arrival for long second advent — Is.24:20, Rev.10:4, 2Thes.1:7, Mt.13:30 as Rev.16:14-15-16 & Mt.25:1-13. — and #2 the “8th ‘day’” the “last great day” — Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37, with initiaL conditions of some during that ‘day’, of the inner, outside of the Light darkness, etc — this is, of course, “after” the millennial Sabbath rest ..Rest from the adversary&co, Rev.20 however, is told like describing the crests of waves, and not much of the in between.}

     40 “For this is the will of my Father - that everyone who looks upon the Son and believes in him, possesses [echó - to have, hold, possess; translated as “should have”] enduring life, and I will raise them up on the  last day.”

     {A “first resurrection” strongly suggests and reveals a “second resurrection. The First one includes the “putting on of perfection, and” (thus) “immortality” 1Cor.15:51-55. But the second is separated from that by GWT judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’ after which is the fiery “palin(again) genesis” when God says “Behold! I make all new!” [Pas - every, all, the whole.] Rev.21:1-5, 2Pet.3:12-13, Rev.20, and thus 1Cor.15:53-55, supported by 24-28.}

1 Corinthians 3 1-6

10/27 ~ From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

         Paraphrased by Necessity

1 - But,  I (Paul) couldn’t address you as spiritual people, but as people still carnal, for you were infants in Christ. (They were baby believers.) 2 I fed you with milk, for you weren’t ready for solid food. And even now you’re not yet ready. 3 For while there’s jealousy, arguments and strife among you, are you not still carnal? Behaving only in the human way? 4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? (Not sacred/hagios translated holy.)

     5 What then is Apollos? (A good teacher and preacher “knowledgeable in the scripture”.) What is Paul? We are only servants of the Lord, through whom you believed God’s message. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God is the one who gave and gives the growth.

Planetary Vision

Psalm 40:6 - Young's Literal Translation (YLT) "Sacrifice and presents Thou hast not desired, Ears Thou hast prepared for me, Burnt and sin-offering Thou hast not asked."
- The teaching of the "opposer", Satan, is human sacrifice, so easy, because the conscience of man knows himself to be quite flawed (as opposed to being utterly perfect and full of love at all times for all). But God trumped Satan by facing the issue squarely by resolving the issue and providing a Most Sacred sacrifice, so holy, it is one which is for all, and for all time. No other sacrifice is ever needed. It is so holy and complete it restores all back to God and oneness with Him, who by nature is Perfection and Life itself (there is and can be no life nor "living" apart from Him). To wander from perfection is to wander from life and can only ever result in non-life. (One of  the opposer's first lies was "surely, you won't, die?")
- Anyone thinking Lucifer is a free spirit who ushered in freedom and enlightenment, should realize everything he proposes ends in death, his goals are planetary, and he comes across as an angel of light.

Can't Do Any Better Than That!

Hebrews 9:26! You just can't do any better than that! That is to say, what a dramatic and 'cut to the heart' way (what more could anyone give or do?) of rescuing mankind and the planet from the wrong path and death/nonlife, its result and destination.
- Revelation 21:5 "and He who sits on the throne says 'behold I am making all things new'.."
- And not only that, but we get to enter the Most Sacred Place, His Presence, to get all the help we need.. Hebrews 4:16.
