 Gospel Verses ๐Ÿ“ฌ⭐️

    Matthew 24:23-28

23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false [pseudo] messiahs [From Merriam-Webster Dictionary - a. the expected king and deliverer of the Jews..  b. a professed or accepted leader of some hope or cause (and in small print - and the security, which the political messiahs promise)] and false [pseudo] prophets [properly (in the faith) one who speaks forth by the inspiration of God; a prophet, from pro - beforehand, and phฤ“mรญ - elevating/asserting one idea over another, especially through speaking, speaks forth his message for a particular situation, sometimes foretells/predicts the future] (speakers who lead, perhaps foretelling a future, pseudo) (they) will appear and give great signs and wonders (modern miracles, miracles and wonders) so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 If you are told the Messiah is out in the desert, don't go there! And if you are told he is in some secret place (comes secretly) don't believe it! 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. (Also the corpse of society? Dead “body” of the church? As in “lukewarm” taken by surprise, not “watching” misled.) [Another version - Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a dead body nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.] (The vultures wiLL gather.)

   The First Letter to Timothy

        ~ 1 Timothy 5:16-25 ~

16 If a believer has widows in their care, they should continue to help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church can help those widows who are genuinely and in the most need. 17 Give double honor to spiritual leaders who handle their duties well. This is especially true if they work hard at teaching the word/scripture of God. 18 And as the scriptures say, "Don't muzzle an ox when you are using it to grind grain." You also know the saying, "Workers are worth their pay." 19 Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it is supported "by two or three witnesses." (It was a different day, some abuses in Israel, due to their strict Law, were not heard of, certainly not prevalent, as in the modern day!) 20 But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove before everyone, so the others may take warning. 21 I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism. 22 Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. 23 Do not drink water only, but take a little wine because of your stomach and its frequent upset. 24 Some people get caught in their sins almost at once, even before the time of judgment. But other people's sins don't show up until later. 25 In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.

    Matthew 24:15-22

15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand. [Another version - “The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about—the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.” (Reader, pay attention!)] [Daniel 12:11-12, a good math riddle?] 16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop (deck) go down to take anything out of the house. 18 A person out in the field must not return even to get a coat. 19 How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For at that time there will be great tribulation (trouble) unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. 22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones. (Chosen to have their understanding opened during this lifetime, Jn.6:44 - “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up on the last day.” (Of this system of things.)

   The First Letter to Timothy

        ~ 1 Timothy 5:8-15 ~

8 Anyone who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, deny the faith and may as well be an unbeliever. 9 For a widow to be put on the list of widows, she must be at least sixty years of age, and been faithful in marriage, 10 with a reputation for a good life, namely, that she has raised children, practiced hospitality and helpfulness, having helped those in distress, involved herself in good works. 11 Don't put young widows on the list. They may later have a strong desire to get married, and may even turn away from Christ . 12 Then they would be guilty of breaking their previous pledge. 13  Or they may learn to be idle and spending time in gossip, from house to house meddling in things they shouldn’t. 14 So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity to slander them. 15 For already some have turned aside after Satan.
