πŸ—️’s to riddles, N.T. in a yr study, verses paraphrased Logic [ ] references { } thots

☀️ {These verses include a summary of God’s attitude about Earth?} 46 - And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the LORD. 47 My spirit rejoices in God my Savior! 48 For he has looked upon his humble maiden. And now all generations will call me blessed. 49 For he who is mighty has done great things for me! And holy is his name! 50 His mercy is for all who revere him from generation to generation. 51 He has shown strength with his arm! He has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts! 52 He has brought down the mighty from their thrones! And has exalted the humble. 53 Those hungering he has filled. But the proud he has sent away empty. 54 He has helped his servant Israel” {macro, humanity} “in remembrance of his mercy, 55 as he told our fathers, Abraham and his descendants after him.” 56 And Mary remained with Elizabeth for about three months, and then she returned home. [Shortly before John the Baptist (a cousin to Jesus?) was born to Elizabeth, who was older and was a “kinswoman” to Mary.]

     06/19 - GospeL Verses

46 - And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord! 47 And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! 48 For he has looked on the humble estate of his handmaiden. And behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed. 49 For he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name! 50 And his mercy is for those who revere him from generation to generation.

51 He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. 52 He has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate. 53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.

54 He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, 55 as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring - forever.”

56 And Mary remained with Elizabeth, in the hill country, for about three months, then she returned home.

GospeL Verses ~ Luke 1:46-56

46 - And Mary said to Elizabeth, “My soul does magnify the Lord! 47 My spirit rejoices in God my Savior! 48 For he has looked upon the humble estate of his maiden. Behold from now on all generations will call me blessed. 49 For he who is mighty has done great things for me! And holy is his name. 50 His mercy is for all who fear him from generation to generation. 51 He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud, 52 he has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and he has exalted those of humble estate. 53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. 54 He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, 55 as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” [Abraham, “father of many nations” through “his offspring/seed, Jesus” and Jesus said he “will draw all”, Jn.12:32-in which I’m surprised in translation “all” - greek “pas”, didn’t become “all things” like in Eph.1:20, Col.1:20, and many more, even Rev.21:5!]

56 And Mary remained with Elizabeth for about three months and then she returned home.

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                ~ Hebrews 4:1-3 ~

1 - So now, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any should seem to have failed to reach that rest. 2 For good news came to us just as to them (Old Testament forgiveness, acceptance, the sacrifices portraying the coming, for all time, one sacrifice) but the message they heard didn’t benefit them, because they didn’t really believe. 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as the scripture says, “As I swore in my passion, ‘They shall not enter my rest,’” although(!) his works are complete from the foundation of the world. (No sense running away? His full will shall be fulfilled. A wise manager or bridesmaid will get on with the program? We shall all “be like Jesus” Eph.1:10, 1Jn.3:2.)
