The thing about the 'little' beast is it's a man (we have his number) but more specifically, it's an office. One which "worked mighty miracles, and while people watched, it even made fire come down from the sky" (Rev/Apoc 13:13 Contemporary English Version) - think Hiroshima, Nagasaki - fire which causes man to rebuild (and make an image to) the (big) beast (13:14) "which was and was not" (17:11) and when he reaches full stature (with) will "give breath" (authority) "to the" (big) "beast" (13:15).

Revelation Riddle - Big Beast
The Book of Revelation is full of riddles! But once the mystery of them is unlocked, they fit together like the pieces to a puzzle forming a complete picture. There a lot of ruminating over who (or what) "the beast" of Revelation/Apocalypse chapter 13 is. One of the most important things to notice, and surprisingly, some don't, is that there are two beasts in that chapter! There is the many headed, many horned and many crowned beast of verse 1 through 10, and then there is the (smaller) two horned (two office) beast of verses 11 through 18.
- Of course a big clue to Bible prophecy riddles is cross-references, those other Bible verses which are closely linked, having words or similarities in common. Such a reference to the description of the larger beast of Revelation/Apocalypse chapter 13, verses 1 through 10, is found in Daniel chapter 7, verses 7 and 19.
- Here are the two references - Young's Literal Translation (YLT):

Revelation 13
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw out of the sea a beast coming up, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon its heads a name of evil speaking..Daniel 7
7After this I was seeing in the visions of the night, and lo, a fourth beast, terrible and fearful, and exceedingly strong; and it hath iron teeth very great, it hath consumed, yea, it doth break small, and the remnant with its feet it hath trampled; and it [is] diverse from all the beasts that [are] before it; and it hath ten horns.
19Then I wished for certainty concerning the fourth beast, that was diverse from them all, fearful exceedingly; its teeth of iron, and its nails of brass, it hath devoured, it doth break small, and the remnant with its feet it hath trampled..
To make the riddle more certain, is the phrase "its teeth of iron, and its nails of brass" which brings us to yet another important cross-reference, one not well noticed, or at least I have never come across any reference to it by any other Bible prophecy buffs.
An Ancient Dream of a Huge Statue - Of Ancient World Empires (with impact upon Israel) and a last World Empire:
( 34Thou wast looking till that a stone hath been cut out without hands, and it hath smitten the image on its feet, that [are] of iron and of clay, and it hath broken them small..)
Bible scholars agree, the brass represented Greece, and the iron represented Rome ("iron teeth", ancient iron columns of Rome!) To find the identity of the many headed, many horned (seated) and many crowned (rulers, modern) we need to look for its Graeco/Roman roots (of philosophy, arts, architecture, politics, etc). Preceeded by the golden head, being Babylon, and the Silver, being (Media)-Persia.
19Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast--which was different from all the others, exceedingly terrible and shocking, whose teeth were of iron and its nails of bronze, (or brass) which devoured, broke and crushed, and trampled what was left with its feet-- [What the iron doesn't devour, the Greek (secular humanism / nowadays "humans are the higher power" philosophy) will break up and trample underfoot..]

That Rowdy Bunch, Me, Myself and I
Not only does the Bible say "the tongue is like the rudder of a ship, so small, yet it sets the course of life and too often starts a mighty flame".. but we, our selves, are supposed to "reckon" our selves as "crucified with Christ". What this means is when considering a problem or an argument, almost always what is required is a 'dying to self'.. a forgetting of self and to not consider self in the matter (and in life, letting God, who knows our greater good, consider us, for us). To consider self less and letting self bow is a key to life! (The Christian life. Only Jesus in us can accomplish it.) It sounds hard at first, but actually, it's easier than the trials and tribulations me, myself and I are prone to get into!

Negative Filmstrip
Fallen angels are the negative of what the faithful angels are (and do). God calls the faithful angels "messengers... and flames of fire".
- The negatives (dark entities) work in the same fashion as the faithful because their function (DNA(?) remains the same as what God gave them. They are negative (lying) "messengers and flames of fire".
- Psalm 30:1 "I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me."

Lake of Fire !!
In Nelson's Quick Reference Bible Handbook (1993) on page 231 in a section about the Gospel of John, a sentence reads "The world is where God reveals the truth (8:32), light (8:12), and life (14:6) in His Son Jesus Christ. The world is also where persons must decide for or against the witness of Christ, and the decision is judgment (3:18)."
- John 3:18, to me, seems to say anyone in this world, not believing, is condemned already; to not be in faith is to be condemned / under a curse. We are all headed toward death.
- The verse reads "No one who has faith in God's Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn't have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son." Condemned while alive..
- The actual only account, or list of ones thrown into the "lake of Fire" for an age and an age (the literal translation of "ever" and "ever" is "age-lasting") is the "false prophet" and the (world/big) "beast" (Rev/Apoc 19:20). Both of these, it is said, are "thrown alive into the lake burning with fire" (the second death). The irony here is that each of these, the false prophet (teaching) and the (world) beast are not persons! Revelation 19:20 - "But the beast was captured and so was the false prophet. This is the same prophet who had worked miracles for the beast" (13:13&17) so that he could fool everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol. The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into a lake of burning sulfur."
- Later after all have been resurrected from their graves, and all have witnessed and lived through the long day of the examining (judging) of all things, all human history, etc, Rev/Apoc, chapter 20, verses 14 and 15 say "Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life" (/believing) "he was thrown into the lake of fire."

True Love
Job 29:13 - “...I made the widow’s heart sing for joy."
Jeremiah 31:3 - "I have loved you with an everlasting love,
therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you."
Zephaniah 3:17- "The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Psalm 30:5 - "..joy cometh in the morning.."
Isaiah 11:7 - "The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox."
John 14:2 - "...I go to prepare a place for you... so that where I am, there you may be also." (..I go to be crucified.. so that where I am, there you may be also.) I.e. "God is love" 1 John 4:8 - God is Life, and is perfect, and Perfection makes no mistakes, the 'end' result of this unavoidable journey and lesson called 'life', can only be the Best One Possible.

The Logic of Logic
The path of logic can answer any question of life - spiritual, philosophical, political. You can follow its steps and it has no dead ends or extremes. "Where does" a way of thinking "lead"? How will a way of doing something end up?

Preaching "The Law!"
Galatians 5:14,15 (Contemporary English Version)
14"All that the Law says can be summed up in the command to love others as much as you love yourself."
15"But if you keep attacking each other... you had better watch out or you will destroy yourselves."

A New Way
The old laws of the Old Testament are not good enough for the believer in Jesus. It's no longer good enough to simply "do not murder" but we are to not hate/dislike (after all, God is Love). No matter how often others try to say the gospel is a way of outward rules concerning days (sabbath) and foods, it does not cancel out the fact that every New Testament letter tells us differently. "One person esteems one day above another unto the Lord, and another esteems all days alike, unto the Lord." And meats, unlike Old Testament days, are now laced with antibiotics.
- The Jerusalem Council concluded the matter in Acts chapter 15, saying "it seemed good to us and the Holy Spirit" that gentiles do not need to follow the Laws of Moses to be saved, but are to follow the instructions (commands) of Jesus. [Acts 15:1-31] The ten commandments are fulfilled by Jesus living in us, not by outward observance of days and foods, etc. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, moderation, self control" etc. Fruit which grows by our having the boldness to have a close and ongoing friendship with God through Jesus and his sacrifice, the only sacrifice ever needed. "Love works no ill."
- The conclusion of the matter is this: New Testament believers are transformed from within, not from without. The new way works, and the old way doesn't. Rules, and do's and don'ts actually have a way of making the old man (the fallen man) stronger, and love, the fruit God desires, is usually strangled through frustration and, or pride, and is one of the things which very often repel people from believing.
- "Not of works, so that none, may boast."

What Does It Mean?
Ancient Israel had what was called "Spring Holy Days" and "Fall Holy Days". The Spring ones were - Passover - Unleavened Bread - and Firstfruits, when a single sheaf of wheat was waved in the air. (Followed 49 days later by Pentecost.)
- These days were like prophecies, and Jesus' first advent fulfilled the Spring Holy Days, therefor surely his second coming and advent will fulfill the Fall Holy Days of - Trumpets - Day of Atonement - and Tabernacles. As we know, when he returns it is with the sounding of a "trumpet" (which awakens all believers, the "1st Resurrection"). Then there is a space of 1000 years.
- Between Israel's Holy Day (Feast) of Trumpets and the next Holy Day, the Day of Atonement, is 10 days. Then there is 5 days between the Day of Atonement and Tabernacles. This makes me think there will be 500 years between the Day of Judgment (Atonement) and Tabernacles. Judgment Day is the "2nd Resurrection" when all not previously risen will rise. All will experience being resurrected. Then there is a Day of Examination, where all human history, etc will be examined (as to what went ok and what didn't!) A day lasting 500 years? After all this, will be when will be spoken, the notorious words - "those not believing, will go to the 2nd death."
-- The third Fall Holy Day, the Feast of Tabernacles coincides with chapter 21 of the Book of Revelation where it says "God himself will now tabernacle" (live) "with man on Earth.."

What Is The (True) Character of God?
If God (the deity) is Life, the life force itself, and surely he is, for what else could be? "In the beginning, God.." Then when one reaps consequences of one's very own doings, it still could be said that God 'rewards' and 'punishes'. Yet it is no direct act of his..
- Hebrews 1:3 tells us that it's the character of Jesus, the Son, which is the "exact representation" of God the Father's character, "he is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of his nature". Elsewhere it says he is "the exact likeness of God" (2 Cor 4:4) and "he is the image of the invisible God, and the firstborn of all creation" (Col 1:15).
- The theory of (and word) "hell" is a mistranslation which should more closely read "the grave". This mistranslation closes many minds to the message of the Bible (and understandingly so!) which message is the full triumph of good versus evil, or, that is to say, the full triumph of life over death. This one thing alone takes much of the shine from the glory of the message, what is called "the good news", which Jesus always called "the gospel of the Kingdom" (of paradise on Earth restored and unbreakable).

Can You See It?!
Like pieces to a puzzle, a piece here.. a piece there.. is Bible prophecy..
- Do you remember all the Frat Movies in the 70's? All the "drink til you drop" and "see the breasts" movies? (And college students attending classes in a sleepy state, just right for thought shaping, but that's another topic!)
- The Book of Revelation (Apocalypse) 12:(14)15 -
14 "But she was given two
wings like those of a great eagle so she could fly to the place prepared
for her in the wilderness. There she would be cared for and protected
from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time.")
15 "And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood."
- There is a key here to unlock part of the Revelation/Apocalypse prophecy message. In verse 14, insert "sail" for fly. (She was supposed to bond with the peaceful inhabitants of the land.)
- Then add 350 (modern time, times and half a time) to 1620. A proliferation/flood unleashed.
- Also, as a valuable cross-reference:
17 "And
the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the
rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and" (insert here 'by this time') "have the
testimony of Jesus Christ."
The first verse of this chapter "a woman with the moon under her feet and twelve stars circling her head" is Israel who birthed the Son of Man (verse 2) and the dragon (verse 4, in the person of Herod) tried to destroy the "man child" as soon as he was born, is Israel, but later, in the verses, the mantle of truth passed to "the church" (unseen / not buildings / spiritual). It is she who was given the wings of an eagle.

Bk of Rev-At The Last Hour
At the last hour, the (great) beast (book of revelation, chapter 13, verses 1-10), the beast (verses 11-18, we know this is a man/person, because we have his number) and the false prophet, will become one. (An anti-trinity!) But they don't start out that way.
- The first one, Rev 13:1-10, in late days becomes an all encompassing (world) beast. Rev 13;11-18 is actually a political office, one which brought fire upon earth in the sight of mankind, encouraging a healing of the world beast/power (verses 13 and 14). And the false prophet/idea/teaching began as a man, or actually in the name of a man, and changed western civilization preparing the way for people to trust in man as the highest power.
