     07/29 - GospeL Verses

20 - Then Jesus went home where they were staying, his disciples with him, but again a large crowd gathered, so many that they couldn’t even eat. 21 And when his family heard it, they set out to take hold of him and take him with them, for they said to each another, “He is beside himself!” (He’s lost it!)

     22 Meanwhile, the scribes who came down from Jerusalem had been saying, “He’s possessed by Beelzebul! It’s by the prince of demons that he casts out demons!”

     23 So he called them over and said to them, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, won’t that kingdom fall? 25 And if a house is divided against itself, it cannot endure and remain intact. {Hello?} 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, well then his kingdom is coming to an end.” {As will occur at Armageddon battle?} 27 “No one can enter a strong man's house and carry away his goods, unless they first bind him. Then they can plunder his house. 28 Truly, I tell you, all sins are forgiven the sons and daughters of man [anthropoi] and whatever blasphemies (insults) they may utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit(/Presence) of God has not forgiveness to the age [aion] but is guilty of an aionios {particular to the age} sin”— 30 for they were claiming, “He has an unclean spirit.”

     31 And his mother and his brothers arrived, and were standing outside the crowd, and sent word for him. 32 So the ones sitting around him said, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, looking for you.” 33 And he answered, “Who is my mother and my brother?” 34 And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 For whoever does the will of God, is my brother, my sister and my mother.” {He would (and does and will) gather all his chicks under his wing.}
