☀️ 11 - While the women were going, some of the guard went into the city and told the leaders, the chief priests, all that had happened. 12 And when they had a meeting with the rest of the leaders, they decided to give a sum of money to the soldiers 13 and said to them, “Tell the people, ‘his disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep’. 14 And if it reaches the governor's ear, we’ll smooth it over and keep you out of trouble.”

     15 And so the guards took the money and did as the leaders said. And this story is believed among the nation to this day. {About thirty-five or forty years later?}
